Description
Glasplattendach Das Schweiz.
Slab glass roof The Switzerland. Patent No. 261297 and the additional patent assigned to it No. 2701.14 be describing glass plate roofs, in which a rail with a central web and lateral shoulder surfaces is arranged below and along the opposing edges of adjacent glass plates, on which shoulder surfaces the edges of the Lay glass plates with elastic material in between,
while an overlying deck rail, which also has a central web and lateral shoulder surfaces, which rest on the upper sides of the glass plate edges with the interposition of elastic material, serves as a counter-tensioning element through screws that pull the central webs of the two rails into one another.
With this very advantageous construction, it is inevitable that screw holes must lead from the top of the cover rail through the center web of the same, into which the fastening screws must then be screwed. Apart from the fact that such externally visible screw connections are often undesirable for aesthetic reasons, they are often disadvantageous for technical reasons, be it because they allow rainwater to seep in, for example, or because they can be easily loosened by unauthorized persons. In this regard, an improvement is achieved by the present invention.
According to the invention. a glass plate roof, in which a support rail with a central web and lateral shoulder surfaces is arranged below and along the mutually facing edges of adjacent glass plates, on which shoulder surfaces the glass plate edges rest with the interposition of elastic sealing material, characterized in that from the opposite side on the middle web of the DIN rail counterparts with lateral shoulder surfaces are screwed on,
which, with the interposition of elastic material, press the glass plate edges against the shoulder surfaces of the mounting rail, these counterparts forming guide grooves on the flanks, and that over the whole series of counterparts an upwardly convex hollow rail with downwardly directed shoulder support surfaces for elastic sealing strips and after inwardly directed, into the guide grooves of the counterparts jumping guide ribs as a cover and sealing rail is pushed.
Embodiments of the subject invention are in the drawing Darge provides. In Fig. 1, the support rail for the glass plates is with. 10 designated. Its two side switch surfaces 11 are provided with dovetail grooves into which elastic sealing strips 12 are pressed, on which the opposing edges of adjacent glass plates 2 rest. The central web 13 of the rail protruding upward between the glass plates 2 forms an upwardly open groove, which in this way. is profiled that the heads of fastening screws 31 can be inserted into them.
With the help of these screws 31 and of courage tern are now counterparts 30 with the. Central web 13 of the support rail 10 connected. which form lateral shoulder surfaces, which are pressed against the glass plate edges from above with elastic strips in between. Also between the central web 13 of the support rail 10 and the counterparts 30 can nen strips 35 of elastic material can be placed.
Laterally protruding nose ribs 36 on the flanks of the counterparts 30, together with the upper sides of the glass plates 2, form lateral guide grooves which allow an upwardly convex rail, which is directed downward, with dovetail grooves for inserting elastic sealing strips 4l. provided shoulder surfaces 42 and inwardly directed Fühxningsnasen 43 to slide over the whole row of counterparts 30 as a cover and sealing rail. The elastic resilience of the sealing strips 41 ensures that the Deek rail 40 is held in place.
The embodiment according to FIG. 2 differs from the above-described according to FIG. 1 only in that the central web 13 of the support rail 10 has threaded holes for screwing in fastening screws 31 which are intended to screw the counter pieces 30 tight.
