Pump system The invention relates. on a pumping system with a pump, a water tank arranged above the same and a pipe connecting the pump to the tank.
In the case of previous pumping systems, the avoidance of air-free spaces on the pipeline on the pipeline caused by back waves. A standpipe or a ventilation valve is connected to the coming Stel'l'e.
In contrast, there is. the invention consists in that at least one expansion tank provided with an air inlet / check valve is connected to the pipeline. Where is the line attached. must be determined on a case-by-case basis using the calculation using vacuum waves.
The present system is relatively simple in construction Lich and without a let in air. in the line itself - which is known to be undesirable - to ensure that the aturosphere pressure in the line is not. is significantly below. In contrast to a standpipe, a container can be connected to practically any point on the line where it is necessary or expedient to avoid airless spaces and can be accommodated in such a way that it and especially the associated valve are protected from cold and freezing.
As soon as the pressure drops below the atmospheric pressure in the container, air is let in through the backlash valve, which during operation constantly forms an air cushion over the water in the reservoir.
Furthermore, the reservoir water located in the equalizing container with the air cushions above it is under the pressure in the line during operation of the pump, so that it is under the pressure of the air cushion - for example in the event of a power interruption and the pump running out is pushed back into the line.
In one embodiment, the equalizing container is a pipe section opened on both sides, which is arranged above the pipe at least approximately parallel to it. and is connected to it in two places.
A little water then constantly flows through the pipe section during operation, so that the water in the reservoir does not remain for a long time, as is the case with systems with a standpipe. , The pipe section expediently has the same diameter and consists of the same material as the pipe. It is then possible to use one of the pipes that were already available when the system was built.
In the case of a design with a compensating pipe section connected to a horizontal pipe section, this pipe section is slightly inclined imd the check valve is placed at the higher end of the pipe section. The contact area between the storage water and the overlying air cushion in the pipe section then becomes relatively small, so that relatively little air is absorbed by the water.
The drawing illustrates two exemplary embodiments of pump systems designed according to the invention.
Fig. 1 shows part of a first type, Fig. a corresponding part of a modified embodiment.
The pipeline 1 is. In Fig. 1 left to a not shown lower pump, right to an upper water tank. After its rise, the line 1 has a bend 2 and then runs essentially horizontally to your upper water tank. Behind the arch?, Namely at the point where the depression coming from the pump could create a vacuum,
a Ausgleiehbehälter 3 is connected to a check valve, for example a poppet valve. Air is admitted into the container 3 through valve 4 as soon as the underpressure!], E the atmospheric pressure in container 3 is slightly undercut when passing by.
The container can be designed in such a way that it contains sufficient water so that in the event of a negative pressure wave only water gets into the pipe and not. also the air above it.
In the example according to Fig.2- a at 5 and 6 with the horizontal part of the Lei device 1 in connection pipe section 7 is welded, which is slightly inclined, so forms an acute angle with the horizontal line section 1. Pipe section 7 is closed at the left end in the drawing at 8 and at your right end by means of a cover 9.
A tube 10 is pushed through it, the end 11 of which is bent upwards. The pipe 10 contains a shut-off device 17 and in front of it the R.ückschla.gv valve -1 -, via which the Rohrst.üek 7 is connected to an air shaft 12. The parts 4, 9 to 1'2- and 17 are housed in a ge filled with earth 13 and a cover 14 covered Be tongrube 15, which contains gravel 16 below and through which the line 1 is guided.
