Up-and-over door for a room The present invention relates to a tilting door for a room, in particular for a garage, comprising a panel of tiné to rotate around a horizontal axis under the action of at least one counterweight, characterized by the that the panel laterally carries two trestles fixed to two frames rotatably mounted on two horizontal coaxial shafts, at least one of these frames having a sleeve provided with a bent arm carrying a counterweight,
the whole being arranged so that the orthogonal projection of the center of gravity of said panel and of the point of attachment of the counterweight on a vertical plane per pendicular to the panel are on a straight line passing through the intersection of this plane with the axis rotation of reinforcement.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the door which is the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a view in vertical axial section; fig. 2 is a partial sectional view following II-II of FIG. 1.
The door shown comprises a frame 1 and a panel 2 carrying laterally, near its upper end, two trestles 3 fixed to two frames 4 rotatably mounted on two horizontal coaxial shafts 5 fixed to the side walls 6 of the garage.
Each easel 3 comprises two angled bars 7, the end 9 of each of these being engaged in a ring 8 arranged on the panel 2 and its other end being welded to the frame 4; each end 9 is mobilized in the ring 8 by means of a screw 10, its position being able to be adjusted according to the dimensions of the door itself.
Each frame 4 has a sleeve 11 into which is threaded an elbow arm 12 provided with a slider 13 provided with a town cheek 14 to which a counterweight 15 is attached; the arm 12 is immobilized in the sleeve 11 by means of screws 16 which allow its position to be adjusted, that of the slider 13 being adjusted by means of a screw 17.
The panel 2 has two Z-shaped irons 18 laterally longi; the upper part of each of these, that is to say the part intended to enter the garage when the panel 2 is open, carries a stopper 19 intended to bear against the frame 1 when the panel 2 is closed; while the lower end of the frame 1 carries longitudinally laterally two stops similar to the ridges 19, below them when the panel 2 is closed, and in this case serve as a support for the shaped irons from Z 18.
When the door shown is mounted and adjusted, the orthogonal projection of the center of gravity 21 of the panel 2 on a vertical plane perpendicular to it as well as the intersection of this plane with the axis of rotation of the arches 4 and with the axis of the pegs 14 de terminate three points situated on a straight line 22, which makes it possible to easily balance the panel 2 for all the positions of the latter.
The assembly formed by the bars 7 and the frame 4 can be built in series, which significantly reduces the cost price of a door.
In an alternative embodiment, provision is made for mounting on only one of the frames 4, an arm 12 and a counterweight 15.
