Fig. 5 die Vorrichtung beim Erfassen des Aufreissbandes.
Method and device for gluing tear-off means to wrapping sleeves made of paper, cell glass or the like. The invention relates to a method such as a device for gluing tear-off means to wrapping sleeves made of paper, cell glass or the like.
The direction of the gate can serve to glue tear strips or tear threads at certain intervals across a preferably printed web of wrapping material using a hot-melt adhesive process. In the process of a role from running tear-off, z.
B. the hot-adhesive tear-off tape or the like, transversely to an expediently also come from the roll, the incrementally fed insert material web preferred, glued to this and cut off in at least the web width corresponding length, which is known. The pull-out of the tear-off tape or the like is preferably carried out by means of conveying tongs that move back and forth.
The path or the stroke of these tongs is often very large, corresponding to the width of the path, so that a longer period of time is required, which has an unfavorable effect on the natural performance of the machine. This applies in particular to the return of the tongs to their original position, which necessarily means that the device is idling. To increase the performance of the machine, this idling must therefore be switched off in the first place.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the pulling forward of the tear-off means is carried out simultaneously with the advance of the wrapping material web and the return of the conveying part pulling the tear-off means into its starting position takes place while the tear-off means is glued to the wrapping material web.
The inventive device for carrying out this method is characterized by a fixed jaw and an adhesive device for the tear-off means that can be moved relative to this jaw, and by a conveyor tong that can be moved back and forth transversely to the feed direction of the wrapping material web and to the working movement of the adhesive jaw which is controlled so
that it runs back past the closed gluing device while the tear-off means is being stuck on to detect the length of the pull-off means to be pulled from the roll for the next gluing process, and after detecting the free end of the tear-off means with the glueing device reopened, the pull-off means during the advance of the wrapping material web so far that it is held in the correct position for the next gluing process.
The drawing shows a schematic representation of an exemplary embodiment of a device according to the invention with a hot-melt adhesive device and a tear-off tape without limitation to the same, on the basis of which drawing an exemplary embodiment of the method according to the invention is also described.
Fig.1 shows the device in front view, Fig. a cross section in the plane B-B of Fig.1. 3 shows the device at the moment when the tear-off tape is being removed and the start of a hot-melt adhesive bond, FIG. 1 shows a cross-section through FIG. 3 corresponding to FIG. 2,
Fig. 5 shows the device when the tear tape is detected.
6 and 7 show the cutting device for the tear tape in side and front view.
A web of wrapping material E is fed in step-by-step movement over a roller 1 and over the upper fixed jaw 2 to a hot-melt adhesive device of the single-weighing machine, not shown. Cross, that is. approximately. At right angles to the wrapping path E, a tear-off tape A is fed to the device via a guide roller 3 and a guide rail 1.
The pulling up of the t'A takes place by means of a conveyor tong Z, which essentially consists of a double-armed lever 5 and a lower part 6 of the tongs. Both parts are articulated to one another at 9. The lever 5 and the lower part 6 end in two jaws 7 and 8 which grip the tear strip A. The pliers lower part 6 is fastened on a rail 1.0, which slides in a, for example, dovetail-like guide 11 and is moved back and forth in the working cycle of the machine by means of a linkage 12.
The guide 11 is arranged on two rods 13 which can perform vertical lifting movements. Above that. Double lever 5 of the conveyor tongs Z is attached to a control rail 14 which is connected to a rod 28 which can also perform vertical lifting movements. Ge against the lower edge 11cs of the control rail 14 runs a roller 15, which at the free end 5a. of the double lever 5 is mounted.
The lower part of the hot-glue device forms a heating jaw 16, which together with. a suitable heating device 17 pivotably arranged on a shaft 7.9. and is moved via a lever 18.
A pair of scissors S is used to cut off the tear-off tape A, which consists of a fixed 3lesser 21 attached to the upper batik 2 by means of an angle 20 and a movable, pivotable Seber knife part ?? consists.
The movable scissor part provided with a slot 23 ?? is. rotatably mounted on a rocker 2.1 and is under the We effect of the helical spring 25, which pulls this against the fixed knife 21. The rocker 21 is mounted in a bearing block and is pivoted up and down via a linkage 27 in the work cycle of the machine.
The mode of operation of the device is as follows: While the insert material web E nm is pulled forward one step, the conveyor tongs Z pulls the tear-off tape A, which passes through the slot 23 of the movable scissor part \ ?? runs across the track E (Fug. 1 and?). After completion of this operation, the lower heating jaw 16 pivots upwards from its lower starting position, grasps the tear-off tape A and pushes. this against the web E, which is against the upper jaw 2 on.
At the same time, the pliers guide 11 sitting on the rods 13 lifts and thus also the pliers Z, so that the pliers jaws 7 and 8 follow the movement of the lower heating jaw 16, that is to say. stay at the same level as this. At the same time, the lower cutter 22 swings upwards and cuts the tear tape A (Fug. 3 and 4).
If you see the Zangenfüh tion 11 at the top dead center, the control rail 14 lowers briefly and presses on the roller 15, whereby the conveyor tongs Z ge opens and the tear tape A is released by this. Directly after this, the pliers guide 11 goes down again, the jaws 7 and 8 close, and the pliers Z is returned to its starting position by means of the rod 12 under the lower heating jaw 16 initially remaining in its working position.
During this time, tape A is hot-bonded to web E.
Shortly before the end of the pliers return movement, the pliers jaws 7 and 8 hit the lower cutter 22 and press it back, so that you can see the end of the tear tape A between the open again in the meantime by means of the lowering control rail 14 Jaws 7 and 8 pushes. The conveyor tong Z is now closed in a known manner and the lower heating bar 16 is pivoted downwards (FIG. 5). This ends a work cycle that is now. continuously repeated.
In order to prevent the tear tape A from continuing to be pulled forward in the event of an interrupted feed of the insert material, a button of a type known per se is provided, for example, which scans the feed of material. If the impact E is missing, the control rail 1.1 is locked in the lower position, so that the pliers Z remains permanently open. This reliably prevents the tear tape A from being grasped and pulled forward.
