A base profile and an outer and inner cover profile owning frame, especially for shop windows There are frames for shop windows consisting of two different metal profiles, in which the pane is captured by the two profiles and the latter are connected to one another with the aid of springs, so that they can only be separated from one another by applying a greater amount of force.
In other known frames composed of two or more profiles. screws are required as connecting means, which hold the individual parts together.
It is also made up of a support and a cover profile. existing shop window frame become known, in which the cover profile is connected to the support profile via sliding stiieke, which latter can be fixed by means of screws on the support profile and exert a clamping effect on the cover profile to determine the position of the latter when screwing by changing the shape.
These known designs have the disadvantage that screws and / or complicated profiles are used to assemble them, so that the finished frames are expensive and heavy and their assembly and disassembly require a considerable amount of work.
In contrast, the present invention aims to create a basic profile and an outer and inner cover profile. Owning frame, especially for show windows, in which the outer cover profile is fastened to the base profile via bolts and pressure plates with the help of wedges, the outer cover profile having ribs over which it is clamped Festge between two press plates.
According to the invention, such a frame is characterized in that the outer of the two pressure plates is designed as a nut; which serves to accommodate the threaded end of the bolt, the shoulder of which moves the inner press plate towards the outer press plate when the bolt is screwed into the outer press plate and clamps and fixes the ribs of the outer cover profile between the press plates, that the wedge also fixes the outer cover profile on the base profile via the bolt and the pressure plates,
For this purpose a centering groove of the inner press plate holds the outer cover profile immovable, but releasably, and that a clamping spring, which sits astride the bolt and is clamped between the wedge and the base profile, the inner cover profile, which is located on ribs of the base profile provided for this purpose supports, and just if it can be removed without loosening screws, holds in its position.
An exemplary embodiment of a frame according to the present invention is shown in the accompanying drawing. Fig. 1 shows a vertical section through the lower part of a shop window frame.
Fig. 2 shows a perspective view of a wedge for fastening the outer cover profile to the base profile, and Fig. 3 shows a diagrammatic view of a clamping spring for fastening an inner cover profile to the base profile.
In Fig. 1, 1 denotes the hollow ausgebil finished basic profile of the frame, which is provided on its upper, horizontal surface 2 with extending in the longitudinal direction of the basic profile Rip pen 3, 4, the purpose of which will be explained later. The two vertical surfaces 5 and 6 of the basic profile 1 are provided in places with openings 7 and 8, respectively, through which a bolt 9 is passed in the fully assembled frame. This bolt 9 has an external thread 10 at its one end, by means of which it is screwed into a threaded hole of a clamping piece 11. is.
The threaded end of the bolt is of a smaller diameter than the rest of the bolt, so that an annular shoulder 12 is formed against which see a second clamping piece 13 is supported, which is provided with a bore 14 whose diameter is larger than that of the relevant End of the bolt 9, but smaller than the lathe of the part of the bolt 9 lying in the base profile 1. The end of the bolt opposite the thread 10 protrudes. in the fully assembled frame through the opening 8 of the basic profile 1 and is provided with a neck 15 and a head 16.
17 denotes the outer cover profile of the frame, the upper and lower surfaces 18 and 19 of which, as well as the vertical surface 20 facing away from the bolt 9, are smooth and flat. The outer cover profile 17 is C -shaped and has longitudinal grooves 21, 22 and inwardly directed ribs 23, 24, the latter of which are used to guide and support the clamping piece 11.
When assembling the shop window frame described, the following procedure is followed: For each pair of openings 7, 8 of the basic profile, a bolt 9 with its. Threaded end is inserted first through the opening 14 of a clamping piece 13 and then screwed with its thread 10 into the threaded hole of a clamping piece 11. Then the bolts with. the clamping pieces laterally inserted into the outer cover profile 17, the surfaces 25, 26 of the ribs 23 and 21 facing the surface 20 of the cover profile and an inner, longitudinal shoulder 27 of the cover profile serving as a guide track for the outer clamping piece 11.
The bolts 9 are now. further screwed into the thread of the clamping piece 71, the shoulder 12 of each bolt pushing the clamping piece 13 forward until the ribs 23, 24 of the cover profile are firmly clamped between the two clamping pieces 11 and 13.
The bolts 9 will now each push through their associated openings 7 and 8 in the surfaces 5 and 6 of the base profile 1, so that their neck 15 and head 16 protrude on the side of the base profile opposite the outer cover profile 17. The basic profile 1 is. see ver with a flange 28, on the upper surface of which the lower surface of a wedge 29 is supported, which as shown in Fig. 2 has a recess 30 in which the neck 15 of the bolt 9 slides when the wedge for fastening the outer Cover profile is brought into the position shown in FIG. 1 on the base profile.
When the wedge 29 is pressed in, which is supported on the one hand against the vertical surface 6 of the base profile, the head 16 and thus the bolt 9 is moved to the right in FIG. 1 on the other hand. As a result, the outer cover profile 17 is pressed with the clamping piece 13 against the base profile and connected to it immovably.
In order to give the inside of the frame a pleasing appearance, an inner cover profile 31 is provided, which also benefits in the simplest manner on the base profile and can be removed again. This inner cover profile 31 is placed with corresponding shoulders as shown in Fig. 1 on the Rip pen 3 and 4 of the basic profile and is by a spring 32 (Fig. 2), which is provided with a recess 33, which the. Neck 15 of the bolt 9 receives, and which is clamped between the wedge 29 and the surface 6 of the base profile 1, held in place by the spring 32 pressing a tongue 33 of the inner cover profile against the rib 4 of the base profile.
In order to disassemble the shop window frame described again, only the spring force of the spring 32 needs to be overcome to remove the inner cover profile 31, and to remove the outer cover profile 17, the wedge 29 is knocked out, which for this purpose has a groove 36 in which a suitable tool can attack. The shop window is designated 34 in FIG. 1 and it rests on an underlay strip 35 which in turn is arranged on the upper surface of the basic profile. The recess 21 in the outer cover profile is used to receive cement for fastening the shop window 34.
