Mixing device, in particular for animal feed
Mixing devices are already known which have a drum which is used to receive the miseldom and which has a filling or filling area on one of its faces. Ent leetw. has ngsoffnung and is rotatably mounted on an organ about its axis of rotation, which in turn rotates around a to the Rota. tion axis right-angled axis swiveling. is arranged on a support frame so that the drum can be brewed in a position for filling in the mixed material, in a working position or in a position for pouring out the mixed material.
Such Vorriehtungen were mainly used for mixing concrete and were consequently of a correspondingly strong and heavy construction.
The subject of the present invention is a mixing device of the type mentioned, which is intended in particular for animal feed, and in fact it is distinguished from known teu that at least one endless drive belt is present to drive the mixing drum, which is via a pulley of a drive unit attached to the pivotable member and runs directly over the outer wall of the drum.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the attached drawing. It shows :
1 shows a side view of the mixing device with the mixing drum pivoted into the working position,
2 shows a view of the mixing device from the front,
3 shows a side view of the same mixing device, seen from the side opposite to FIG. 1, the positions of the drum for filling and emptying the mixed material are indicated with dash-dotted lines,

4 a braking device arranged on the support frame of the device, partly in vertical section and partly in view from the mixing drum, on a scale enlarged compared to FIG.
Fig. 5 shows a part of the mixing drum with an attached cover in a representation analogous to Fig. 1, but compared to this ver enlarged scale,
6 shows the lid alone in the same representation, with baffles attached to the inside of the lid being visible, and
FIG. 7 is a view from the left in FIG. 6.
The mixing device has a support frame 10 which consists of two vertical columns 11 each with a foot 12 and a cross connection 13. The upper ends of the columns 11 are designed as bearings 14, in each of which a stub axle 15 or 16 is rotatably mounted. The two stub axles 15 and 16 are arranged coaxially on the legs of a bow-shaped organ 17 in such a way that the organ 17 can be pivoted about a horizontal axis. A lacer 18 is formed on the web of the bracket 17, in which a shaft 19 is rotatably mounted and secured against axial displacement. The longitudinal axis of this shaft 19 runs at right angles to the pivot axis of the bow-shaped member 17.
Only by means of the shaft 19 is a mixing drum 20 rotatably mounted on the member 17 in a cantilevered manner. At one of its end faces, the drum 20 has a base to which the shaft 19 is rigidly attached, in such a way that the longitudinal axis of the shaft coincides with the axis of rotation of the drum. On its other end face, the mixing drum 20 is provided with an opening 21 which is used to introduce and remove the material to be mixed. The longitudinal axis of the A. ehsstummel 15 and 16 passes at least approximately through the center of gravity of the drum 20.
A drive unit, which consists of an electric motor 22 and a reduction gear 23 assembled therewith, is fastened to one arm of the bow-shaped member 17. On the outgoing shaft of the transmission 23 sits a belt see disk o4, the circumference of which is provided with two inwardly narrowing circumferential grooves. Two endless drive belts 25, with a trapezoidal cross section, run on the one hand over the pulley 24, engaging in the circumferential grooves mentioned and on the other hand directly over a cylindrical part of the outer wall of the mixing drum 20.
This enables the drum to be driven directly without the aid of gearwheels and gear rim. If necessary, only a single drive belt 25 could also be present.
A gear 26 is seated on one stub 16 and is in engagement with a smaller gear 27. The latter is non-rotatably connected to a shaft 28 which is rotatably mounted in the relevant column 11 and which carries a hand crank 29. The parts 26 to 29 together form a crank mechanism with the aid of which the drum 20 can be pivoted into different positions. A braking device which acts on the crankshaft 28 is provided to secure the mixing drum in the set position.
For this purpose, a brake disk 30 sits on the crankshaft 28, and a brake member 31, in the form of a leaf spring, is attached to the relevant column 11, which can be pressed against the circumference of the brake disk 30 with the help of a viewing spindle 32, which is in a The threaded bore of the column 11 is rotatably mounted and carries a rotary handle 33 at its outer end. The leaf spring 31 endeavors to be removed from the brake disk 30 as far as the lockers 32 permit.
On the support frame 10 there is also at least one sehlag not visible in the drawing, which cooperates with the bow-shaped member 17 or a part attached to it in order to limit the visibility of the mixing drum 20.
In its one limit position the drum with its axis of rotation is perpendicular with the opening 21 facing upwards, and in the other limit position the axis of rotation of the drum is inclined, with the opening 21 facing downwards, as shown by dash-dotted lines in FIG. In between, the drum can also look horizontally. e work situation.
To close the opening 21 there is a cover 35 which can be completely separated from the drum 20. For this purpose there are two hooks 36 on the drum in the vicinity of the opening 21 and two pivoting brackets 37 and 38 on the cover, which can be hooked into the hooks 36. To make this possible, a tab 38 is arranged on a turnbuckle 39 be known design.
On the inside of the cover 35, two brackets 40 are rigidly attached with crossing webs, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7. A plurality of rods 41 are also attached between the webs of this bracket 40 and the inside of the cover 35. When the cover 35 is in its closed position on the drum 20, the brackets 40 and rods 41 protrude into the interior of the drum and form sights for the material to be mixed. When the drum 20 is turned, the material repeatedly falls onto these baffles 40 and 41, the mixed material being processed in the sense of distribution and refinement of the same.
The Sehikanen 40 and 41 could also not be present. An embodiment of the mixing device is also conceivable in which there are two covers that can be used optionally and one of which is provided with Sehikanen 40 and 41, but not the other.
The usage and operation of the described device is possible. sufficiently clear from the above description and the drawing and therefore does not require any further explanation.
The described Vorriehtung is particularly suitable for mixing feed for pig fattening. But it can also be used for other purposes, e.g. B. as Misehvorriehtung in former companies see. Paint factories and for concrete and mortar, as well as a cleaning device for metal objects or as a Seheuvorriehtung for edging punched parts etc.
