Process for the coordination of different imaging scales associated exchange lens parts of photographic recording devices and means for carrying out this method Photographiselie recording devices are generally equipped with a permanently installed lens that can be adjusted for different recording distances.
Such lenses are either equipped with central shutters, the locking sectors of which are located in the optically effective lead space, or they are followed by an attached central locking immediately behind the last lens surface; The arrangement of a seat seal immediately in front of the image plane is also known.
The photographic, graphical recording technology now often makes it appear desirable, by means of a change in the image scale from the same recording point of view, to depict a larger object field in a smaller manner, or, conversely, to depict a small object field as large as possible. This is achieved by exchanging systems with shorter or longer focal lengths for the built-in normal focal length system.
In the case of recording devices with a close-fitting central or seat-seat closure, this is easily possible and is also often used in practice. However, for these two types of closure, peculiar disadvantages must be accepted,
which can be avoided when using a central lock . with locking sectors located in the visually effective aperture area.
It has therefore already been proposed to change the systems including their locks. However, this results in particular difficulties because of the coupling of the film transport with the shutter lift, which is common today, the blocking against double coating, etc. Furthermore, the replacement of the complete system with central shutter is an additional requirement behind this closure,
in order to keep the recording device light-tight during the exchange, if one does not want to make the piece of film in the picture window unusable by prelighting.
These mechanically caused difficulties can be avoided if, as already proposed, lens parts are replaced. It will. the basic lens part, which has been re-adjusted in sectors, is used both for the normal focal length and a-Lieh for the wide-angle or telephoto focal length.
The expediently differentiated focal lengths are then achieved by means of differently constructed interchangeable members in combination with the basic objective part which is arranged downstream of the shutter sections and is the same for all focal lengths. Although this way of solving the interchangeable lens problem eliminates the difficulties on the mechanical side of the camera construction, it brings additional difficulties in the optical sector.
When planning such a lens set with three or more different focal lengths, one will generally start from the lens with the normal focal length, since this has the highest demands on resolution and contrast performance with its several f-stops - based on the replacement systems - higher relative opening. This system will generally also be part of the basic equipment on the recording device. The exchange members who realize the shorter or longer focal length must then objectively orient themselves according to this reason.
It is also obvious that, with a few exceptions, the user of such a device will only have a camera. acquires with the basic lens and only later acquires the corresponding replacement elements. This is where the considerable difficulties begin with regard to the optical coordination with the objective part d of the basic objective which is permanently installed in the camera and is located behind the shutter sectors.
The installation dimensions for the basic objective will have slight deviations for the various basic objectives despite all the precision of production. These installation deviations, which are based on slight differences in thickness and depending on different glass expansion values after delivery, cannot be avoided without the production costs for the basic lens being significantly increased.
The deviations from an average installation dimension must therefore be accepted as removal tolerances, and the replacement members must be provided with adjustment options that allow adjustment to the installation dimension of the basic lens. If a lens set, consisting of normal, wide-angle and telephoto lenses, were to be obtained together, the manufacturer could do the coordination without too much effort.
The procedure required for this, which in this case would take place one after the other in the manufacturer's works, must, however, since a more or less long period of time elapsed between the sale of the camera with the basic lens and the subsequent acquisition of replacement members - C can be even, be aimed at any point in time of the vote.
Serves this purpose. In the sense of the present invention, a tuning method according to which standard lens parts are used which are tuned together with the device-fixed G ', round lens part, with the tuning obtained "" marked on the device-fixed base lens part and the focal length of the commercially available replacement links can be set according to these markings.
As part of the general Abselilus test of the basic lens, its installation dimension is determined by setting it. The measure obtained for this will have smaller or larger deviations from the production target value depending on the tolerances in question for this basic objective. This installation dimension tolerance is caused by tolerances in the basic lens parts located before and after the closure sector space and is grouped around the nominal value according to the usual distribution curves.
From this (-r'riiiidobjek-tiv set to infinity in front of a collimator) the basic lens part lying in front of the locking sectors is stolen and either a standard wide-angle or a telesystem-Austa-Liseh member is inserted, which is used to coordinate the serial production of the Wide-angle or tele exchange members are used.
In general, a clear picture of the collinator test will not readily be obtained, so that a tuning of the standard replacement members will be necessary. The interchangeable wide-angle and tele-exchangeable members have an air space that can be used to change the focal length of the interchangeable member without changing the image errors.
The voting is two-way. this air space is variable by a Sehneekeng-ang, suitable slope. The change in air gap can, for example, be tapped as an angular measure on a division provided for the operating unit of this tuning tendon corridor or read off as a value subdivided into groups.
It is now possible to mark the setting groups read on the standard exchange system on your basic lens and to induce the customer to make the same setting of his wide-angle or tele-exchange member, or alternatively. automatic adjustment of the tendon ducts in the wide-angle or
TeleaList members at the Ein sehra: Liben heat. With this latter type of coordination, manual February settings are definitely avoided, so that this solution is to be used for reasons of sale.
An example of the implementation of the method according to the Eidinden for matching removable lens parts to a permanently installed lens part will be described in more detail below with reference to the attached drawing.
The drawing illustrates the exemplary embodiment of an optical system with exchangeable lens parts and automatic differential equalization, wherein: FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section in partial view on a larger scale, FIG. 2 shows a cross section along line A. #B of Fig. 1, reduced compared to the latter.
In it, 1 denotes the objective part of the (ii-and-objective, screwed into the central closure 2 with pass-cylinder '-) ci facing the shorter beam length. Lind der. # Liila-L-fläehe '2b. 3 is the front plate with good bayonet segments öa and a conical slot ib,
while 4 denotes a locking bolt and 5 denotes a bayonet ring with internal bayonet segments 5a. 6 is a with. the tendon ring connected to the bayonet ring 5 with the tendon thread 6a and a stop bar 6b. With 7 a difference tab is designated, which has a guide seat 7a,
and engages in the tendon thread 6a with a corresponding thread. 8 is the front # system part of the replacement member, 9 a centering connection with locking groove 9a and a viewing hood 9b. Sehliiesslieh denote 10 a guide hood,
11 the rear system part of the replacement member, 12 a counter ring, 1 3 a stop bar and 14 a conical clamping piece for this, which is in the conical slot 3b the fi! ont plate 3 can be moved and locked.
The tuning or coupling process is as follows: The front element of the basic lens is removed and a standard wide-angle or tele-exchange element is inserted, which is provided with an adjustment line and with an angle division. If you see an unsharp image when examining the collimator, the adjustment to the flange focal length of the basic lens takes place by rotating the adjusting screw 6a. The angle required for this is read from a graduation.
This angle measure is now transferred to the stop bar 193, which is adjustably mounted in the conical slot 3b , and is locked in its fixed position by means of the clamping piece 14. The adjustment path x (Fig. 92-) from the point of use of the bayonet to the stop bar 13 thus gives the respective individual difference between the basic lens and the exchange element.
This setting according to the standard A-list component is made for every basic lens during manufacture, regardless of whether a wide-angle or tele-replacement component is used later or not.
The coupling of the lens parts is preferably based on the bayonet system, which is first in the front plate 3 with the outer bayonet segments 3a and, on the other hand, in the bayonet ring 5 with the inner bayonet segments 5a is realized. The bayonet ring 5 is rotatably mounted on the centering socket 9 and is firmly connected to the Schneekenring 6 .
The worm thread 6a is located between the tendon ring 6 and the differential tube 7 into which the front member 8 of the attachment or replacement member is screwed Connection.
The rear link 11 of the front or replacement link is firmly installed in the centering connection 9, which is centered in the fitting cylinder 7 a, by means of the counter ring 12. The stop web 6b of the tendon ring ss ensures, in conjunction with the stop screw 9b in the centering connection 9 , for a limitation of the Rotary movement and avoids the wandering of the differential tube 7 when the bayonet ring 5 is actuated outside the basic object
tivs.
When using a wide-angle or tele-exchange element, the front part of the basic lens is removed and the wide-angle or tele-exchange element is inserted in such a way that the locking bolt 4, which is rigidly fastened in the front plate 3, is inserted into the locking groove 9a of the centering socket 9 engages.
If the inner bayonet segments 5a have passed the outer, 3 (t, , then you can complete the usual clockwise rotation to lock the bayonet, with which the centering connector 9 firmly against the Contact surface 2b of the Zentralversehl-Liss 2 is pulled.
This rotary movement is transmitted to the Schneekenring 6 and thus also to the worm thread 6a of the Dif- ferenzt-Libus 7, which is forced through the guide seat 7a and the guide tube 10, to move axially to the lens with the front link 8 of the interchangeable link.
This movement is directed each according to your adjustment path x (Fig. 2), which is limited by the stop bar 1,3 . whose position - as described - dureli preliminary coordination during production. of the basic lens has been fixed. Consequently, the coupling movement of the bayonet simultaneously serves to transmit the angular deflection via the tendon path 6a to the front link 8 of the exchange link and thereby automatically adjust it to the flange focal length of the basic lens.
