Tape-on gluing machine drawings and other two-dimensional workpieces are often bordered on the edge with an adhesive tape, in particular with a self-adhesive tape. This is done in the case of drawings, documents, envelopes, etc. in order to strengthen the edges and thus protect them against tearing. Such adhesive tapes can also be used to enclose envelopes and other covers in order to seal them.
So-called edging machines have become known for the aforementioned purposes. These contain in the feed direction of the unwinding adhesive tape from a supply roll, a folding device and a pressing device, with the help of which the adhesive tape around the edge of the flat workpiece introduced into the machine, e.g. B. a drawing, lying around and ver is connected with it. The Andrüekvorriehtung be usually consists of a transport roller and a Andrüekrolle and thus causes the feed of the adhesive tape and the workpiece at the same time.
More recently, filing processes have become known in which a so-called carrier tape is connected to the drawing sheet (or another flat workpiece) - butt to the edge of the same - which is then provided with peg holes and used to store or hang up the drawing becomes. The easiest way to connect the carrier tape to the drawing sheet or other flat workpiece is to stick an adhesive tape to the drawing sheet and to the carrier tape in such a way that its center line coincides exactly or approximately with the joint between the drawing sheet and the strap.
The subject of the invention is a tape a.ufklebeinaschine which can be used for both of the aforementioned tasks, i.e. to enclose a flat workpiece at the edge with an adhesive tape, as well as to connect a drawing or the like to a supporting tape by an adhesive tape. The machine is based on the above-mentioned edging machines and, like them, contains a folding device and a pressing device in the feed direction of the adhesive tape, with the aid of which the adhesive tape is wrapped around the edge of the flat workpiece, e.g. B. a drawing, laid around and connected to it.
According to the invention, it additionally has a receiving device for a carrier tape supply roll, such that the carrier tape unwinding from the supply roll runs together with the workpiece into the fold of the adhesive tape and through it with it. is connected to the workpiece.
For some purposes, however, it is also necessary to apply an adhesive tape to the drawing or the other workpiece so that - depending on the circumstances - its outer edge is flush with the edge of the workpiece or a certain distance from the edge of the workpiece, e.g. B. the drawing holds. The machine can also be used for these tasks.
According to the above, the tape gluing machine can be used for several purposes, but requires little more effort than the already known edging machine. It is thus possible to manufacture it inexpensively, and it offers the consumer the advantage that he does not have to purchase several types of machines and keep them ready in his drawing register or the like.
In the following, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown on the basis of the drawing. They show: FIG. 1 a workpiece which is bordered with an adhesive tape at the edge, FIG. 2 shows a section along the line II-II in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a workpiece to which a carrier tape is attached with the aid of an adhesive tape , namely in the position in which it leaves the tape sticking machine v, Fig. 4 shows a section along the line IV-IV of Fig. 3, Fig.5 the workpiece with glued-on support tape according to FIGS. 3 and 4, but in on folded position of the support tape, Fig. 6 is a section along the line VI-VI of Fig. 5, Fig. 7 is a plan view of the adhesive side of the self-adhesive tape used in the workpiece according to Figs. 5 and 6, Fig.

18, 20 and 21 an embodiment of a tape guide in front view and in side view, FIG. 22 in front view a tape guide which is less cranked than that according to FIGS. 20 and 21, FIGS. 23 and 24 in front view and FIG.
in plan view shows an embodiment of an attachment facilitating the replacement for the tape guide and the folding nozzle, Fig. 25 and 26 each in a side view of a tape guide or a folding nozzle with elongated holes for fastening and adjustment.
As already mentioned, the tape-sticking machine can be used in the same way as the hitherto known edge-binding machines to, according to FIGS. 1 and 2, a workpiece 1, e.g. B. a drawing to be bordered with a folded tape 2 at the edge.
In particular, a self-adhesive tape is used as the adhesive tape, which, due to the type of adhesive (usually a chewing adhesive, in particular based on natural chewing gum), remains adhesive even after prolonged storage, i.e. sticks itself without anything water, heat or other means would have to be added in order to make the tape capable of sticking during use.
If a carrier tape is to be connected to a two-dimensional workpiece, in particular a drawing, in the tape attachment machine, according to FIGS. 3 and 4, a carrier tape 3 is also inserted with the workpiece 1 into the fold of the adhesive tape 2, so that Subsequently by the pressing device the carrier tape 3 is connected to the workpiece 1 by the adhesive tape 2 placed around both parts. The parts mentioned leave the tape gluing machine in a mutual position, as is shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. Then the supporting land 3 is unfolded according to Figure 5 and 6 and provided with pin holes 3a.
The entire structure can then be set in corresponding characters or the like using the pin holes 3a or otherwise put down. The fastening holes 3a can also be contained in the carrier tape 3 before it is connected to the drawing 1. In that case, however, it is generally important that the carrier tape 3 or its tacking holes 3a have a certain position relative to the upper and lower edge - with reference to FIG. 5 - of the workpiece 1. This can be easily achieved, as will be shown in the course of the further description.
It is unavoidable, and it is illustrated by FIGS. 5 and 6, that a butt joint is created between the workpiece 1 and the carrier tape 3, which is only small in size, but can lead to glue through this butt joint passes if the adhesive tape 2 has an application of adhesive on the central zone bridging the butt joint. For this reason it is advisable to use an adhesive tape which, according to FIG. 7, is free of adhesive in the central zone 2a, which is dimensioned correspondingly wide. It is advantageous to keep the narrow edge zones 2b free from the adhesive so that adhesive does not leak out of the roll of adhesive tape.
FIGS. 8 and 9 illustrate the case in which an adhesive tape 2 'is glued flat to the workpiece 7, specifically in such a way that the outer edge of the adhesive tape 2' is exactly flush with the edge of the workpiece 1. In FIGS. 10 and 11, an adhesive tape 2 'is again glued onto the workpiece 1 in such a way that an edge zone 1' of the workpiece 1 remains free from the adhesive tape 2 '. This edge zone 1 'can - depending on the needs of the individual case - be selected to be different in width. The tape sticking machine according to the invention ge equips it, as already stated above, to apply an adhesive tape in the manner shown in FIGS. 1 to 6 and FIGS. 8 to 11 on a two-dimensional workpiece.
In the execution of the tape gluing machine according to FIGS. 12 to 19, the frame 11 forms a support table for the workpiece at 11a. It is on part of its length by a fixed to the frame 11, for. B. screwed to it, limit stop bar 12, which is bent towards the support table 11a and in this way a stop and at the same time a slot-shaped guide (baffle) for the workpiece and, as will be shown, forms for the carrier tape.
A bearing arm 11b is provided on the frame 11 to accommodate the adhesive tape 2 wound into a roll. a hollow ausgebil Deten bearing pin 11c attached. The individual roll of adhesive tape comprises a spool 14 made of cardboard or the like, the inner diameter of which is larger than the mandrel 11e, so that the brake mandrel 15 can engage the spool 14 from the inside. This engages through a slot in the bearing arm 11b and is. attached to a lever, which in turn is pivotally superimposed on the bearing arm 11b and is under the action of a train spring 16 which engages on the one hand on the bearing arm 11b and on the other hand on said lever.
To insert the adhesive tape supply roll 14, the brake mandrel 15 is pivoted into one end position by hand and released after the adhesive tape roll has been inserted. Under the action of the spring 16, the braking mandrel 15 rests against the spool 14 and thus exerts a slight braking effect on the roll of adhesive tape, so that the adhesive tape \? can still be peeled off easily enough without the roll of adhesive tape rotating by itself.
Since the tape sticking machine is generally in a horizontal position when in use, the adhesive tape roll is held by its own weight on the bearing arm 11b and the mandrel 11c. This also has the advantage that, if necessary, rolls of adhesive tape of different widths of the adhesive tape can be placed in the machine.
To guide and deflect the adhesive tape 2, a guide pin 17 is attached to the frame 11. This can be set up for several tape widths, or a set of mutually interchangeable deflection pins can be seen with different guide widths. In the exemplary embodiment, the deflection pin 17 according to FIGS. 13 and 17 is set up for two bandwidths. For this purpose, it has a stop flange 174 running over 180 of its circumference and at the upper end a stop flange 17b running over its entire circumference. The deflection pin 17 can be rotated about its axis relative to the frame 11 after loosening the nut 18. In the position according to FIG. 13 it is set for the larger bandwidth.
In this case the adhesive tape 2 runs between the frame 11 and the stop flange 17b and in the other case between the frame 11 and the stop flange 17a. The pin 17 is frustoconical, with the ver young end down. As a result, the tendency of the adhesive tape 2 to apply against the flange 17a or against the flange 17b with a certain pressure is just compensated for. The consequence of this is that the adhesive tape is not compressed or curled in its transverse direction.
From the deflection pin 17, the adhesive tape 2 runs past a finger 19, which prepares the folding of the tape and is connected to the frame 11, and then passes into a channel-shaped folding nozzle 20 also connected to the frame 11; it is folded in this around its center line, but not yet folded. The adhesive strip 2 emerging from the folding nozzle 20 is therefore still open in the manner of a channel. In the feed direction of the self-adhesive tape 2, the pressing device now follows, by means of which the pre-folded self-adhesive tape is pressed against the workpiece and the supporting tape running in with it and thereby connected to the workpiece 1 or to the workpiece 1 and the supporting tape 3.
In the embodiment, the pressure device consists of the transport roller 21 and the pressure roller 22. The two rollers can, as shown, be knurled, whereby the advance of the parts grasped by the pressure device is better secured and, furthermore, on the a slight knurling is transferred to the captured parts, thereby improving the connection between the parts concerned. The shaft 23 of the transport roller 21 is, as can be seen in particular from FIGS. 17a to 19a, mounted on the frame 11 and verbun with a hand crank 24 for driving the transport roller 21.
The pressure roller 22 is mounted with its axis 25 in a bearing fork 26, which in turn is mounted on a verbun with the frame 11 which axis 26a. At the bearing fork 26 engages a tension spring 27, which is hooked with its other end on a screw bolt 28. This screw bolt 28 is movably guided in a hole in the frame 11 and is supported by its nut 29 on the frame 11. As you can see, by turning the nut 29, the tension of the spring 27 and thus the pressure on the roller 22 can be adjusted within the given limits.
With the help of a lever 30 mounted on the axle 25, which cooperates with a control surface 11d (Fig.17aj of the frame 11, the bearing fork 26 can be raised and the pressure roller 22 can be lifted. This is done when the beginning of the adhesive tape 2 is inserted between rollers 21 and 22.
The pressure roller 22 can also be used as a transport roller. For this purpose, it is coupled to the drive shaft 23 via the gear wheel 3 3 1 connected to it and the gear wheel 32 connected to the roller 21, as is the case in particular from FIG. 19 a.
Behind the rollers 21 and 22 a swivel knife 33 is arranged in the Vorsehubrichtung of the workpiece and the adhesive tape 2, which takes the rest position under the action of a tension spring 34 attacking it and against the action of this Fe are pivoted into the path of the adhesive tape can. The knife 33 is used among others as soon as the rear edge of the workpiece has just passed the height of the knife; So it is in each case the workpiece following tape (ge including the support tape 3) cut immediately behind the workpiece abge.
At the rear end of the machine on the frame 11 is releasably designed as a coil receiving device for the Tragbandvor rat, in particular a Tragbandv supply roll attached. This coil is, as will be shown below, also used to hold an adhesive tape roll when it comes to han delt, an adhesive tape according to FIGS. 8 to 11 flat on a flat workpiece, for. B. on a drawing to apply; but first consider the use of the reel to take on the fastener tape. The coil consists, as goes from Fig. 12, 14, 15 and 16 ago, from a screw bolt 36 with the associated nut 37, the two sides washers 38 and 39, the interchangeable coil core 40 and the ver with the side plate 39 related support arm 41.
This holding arm 41 is forked at the free end and, with the slot 41a formed in this way, can be placed on a screw bolt 42 fastened to the frame 11 and held by tightening the nut 43 leading to the screw bolt. In order to prevent pivoting of the holding arm 41, a stop 44 is provided on the frame 11, against which the holding arm 41 rests flat, as shown in FIGS. 12 and 14. With the holding arm 41, a deflecting mandrel 45 is connected to the support tape 3 indicated by dash-dotted lines.
This deflecting mandrel 45 is attached so that in the working position of the coil 36 to 41, the support band 3 runs into the slot guide formed between the support table 11a and the bent stop bar 12 (see FIG. 14) and is flush against the through the Part 12 formed stop rests. The deflecting mandrel 45 also secures the side disks 38 and 39 against turning (see FIG. 14).
It was already mentioned that 2 different widths can be provided for the adhesive tape. The same applies to the fastener tape 3. For this purpose, a set of coil cores 40 of different widths can be seen before. So that the turning of the preferably externally knurled nut 37 does not take too much time, it is drilled out over part of its length beyond the outer diameter of the thread. It is then (see. Fig. 16) when inserting a wider bobbin 40, the courage ter 37 repositioned.
The position of the side panel 39 and the associated holder 41 is not affected by replacing the coil core 40, so that a wider support band as well as a narrower one can run flush with the stop bar 12.
In order to facilitate the insertion of the carrier tape 3 and the workpiece 1, a transverse trough-shaped depression is made in the adjacent section of the front end of the stop bar 12 in the support table 11a at 11e, as seen in the feed direction. This makes it possible to bend the workpiece 1 and the carrier tape 3 a little downwards in their area and to facilitate the slit-shaped guide formed by the insertion of these parts into the between tween the Aufleuetisch 11a and the stop bar 12 formed.
If the tape-sticking machine is only to be used as an edging machine, the reels 36 to 41 are removed or, although they are left on the machine, the carrier tape 3 is not inserted into the machine. The adhesive tape 2 is introduced in the manner indicated above and also shown in FIG. 2, that is to say is drawn in via the pin 17 through the folding nozzle 20 between the rollers 21 and 22.
The individual drawing or the other extensive workpiece can then be advanced over the feed table 11a and along the stop bar 12 to the rollers 21 and 22, whereupon these, driven by the hand crank 24, take over the advance and at the same time the at 19, and 20 pre-folded adhesive tape press against the workpiece and connect there through with him, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 show. The adhesive tape 2 is adhesive-free on the outside.
The machine can be verbun in a suitable manner with a work table or the like, z. B. with the aid of screws or, as shown in FIG. 13, with the aid of a screw clamp 50 connected to the frame 11 or formed on it.
Is to be connected with a drawing or the like, a support tape, the support tape 3 is inserted into the machine, most simply by taking the free end of it and preferring it to the deflecting mandrel 45, using the trough Ile in the slot-shaped guide between the stop bar 12 and the support table 11a pushes and then pulls it forward until it is gripped by the rollers 27 and 22 together with the belt 2. Since the carrier tape 3 is adhesive-free, you can insert the drawing or the other workpiece and lead up to the rollers 21 and 22 under the carrier tape, just as if it were not available.
Then get the rollers 21 and 22, driven by the hand crank 24, the feed and at the same time connect the tape 3 with the work piece 1 through the adhesive tape 2, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4.
After the workpiece has passed through the machine and the carrier tape and the adhesive tape have been cut off with the help of the swivel knife 33 immediately at the rear edge of the workpiece, the carrier tape 3 is unfolded as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 and is inserted into a hole punch the required pin holes 3a provided.
It has already been mentioned that the carrier tape 3 can also be provided with the required tacking holes 3a from the outset. As then, however, it is generally necessary that the fastener tape 3 with regard to its stitching holes 3a each occupies a certain position relative to the workpiece to which it is to be glued. This is not a problem. Suffice it to ken on the support table 11a, z. B. in the form of line marks 51 and 52 (see Fig.12 and 18a).
These are used in such a way that the line mark 52 - see ge in the Vorsehubrichtung - a tack hole in the front or, depending on how the mark 52 is attached, touches the back. and in this position of the carrier tape 3, the workpiece is pushed with its front edge up to the mark 51, that is, up to the point at which the workpiece is gripped by the rollers 21 and 22. If, as will generally be the case, the carrier tape 3 does not have the prescribed reference position to the mark 52 from the outset, the carrier tape 3 is advanced to the prescribed position by actuating the hand crank 24 and only then the workpiece 1 to the mark 51 brought up, while the tape 3 is stationary.
In general, the fastener tape can have pinholes of equal pitch. If you do not want to make use of this for special reasons, you can, for. B. by applying a corresponding imprint or line, those pin holes are marked, which are to be set to the mark 52.
Since the over the leading edge and the rear edge of the workpiece 1 protruding parts of the tape and the tape are cut from, for. B. with. Help of the knife 33, and there thus. If the relevant pieces of the tape and the tape represent a loss, it is advisable to ensure that the tape only needs to be shifted a little until it is in the prescribed position with respect to the mark 5 \ '. This can be achieved by shortening the hole division of the carrier tape required per se to half or a third, etc. It then contains the supporting tape section connected to the workpiece more tack holes than would be neces sary for filing.
But this is harmless because you only need to use those pinholes that correspond to the establishment of the character cabinet or the like.
The mark 52 can also be designed as a circle mark or a circular area mark, with the assignment that the carrier tape then assumes the correct position when a tack hole or a tack hole area coincides with the circle mark or circular area mark. You can also attach windows through which a light source shines through in the support table 11a for the marks, so that the marks 51 and 52 are formed or illuminated in the form of a slot or in a circular shape or the like by shining light. Furthermore, the marks 51 and 52 can be designed as physical attacks, the mark 52 here preferably in the form of a mandrel.
These physical attacks are then attached to the support table 11a so that they can be lowered out of the plane of the support table 11a as soon as the relative position between the carrier tape 3 and the workpiece 1 is required.
As already mentioned, it is important to keep the waste that occurs with regard to the adhesive tape and the carrier tape as low as possible. The arrangement of rollers 21 and 22 shown in FIGS. 12 and 18 contributes to this. While these were previously attached so that they, seen in the Vorsehubriehtung, were in front of the axis 26u of the bearing fork 26, in the embodiment shown they are a mirror image of the aforementioned earlier arrangement. This makes it possible to mount the swivel knife 33 almost immediately behind the rollers 21 and 22. As a result, the piece of adhesive tape 2 and support tape 3 protruding over the front end and also over the rear end of workpiece 1 is significantly smaller; it who reduces the cutting losses.
It has already been mentioned that adhesive tapes and carrier tapes of various widths can be used in the machine. For many purposes z. B. an adhesive tape 13 mm wide. If a wider tape is used, z. B. one with a width of 20 mm, the deflection pin 17, as already described above, implemented or exchanged for another, and it is also the folding nozzle 20 to be exchanged for another. This is made possible in that the folding nozzle 20, as shown in Fig. 19u, is releasably connected to the frame 11 by screws. By corresponding cranking of the holder of the hemming nozzle 20 (see also FIG. 19a.), It can easily be achieved that the hemming nozzle 20 assumes the correct position in each case.
A tape 20 mm wide is generally sufficient for the support tape 3. If, in addition, a 50 mm wide tape is provided, which is then processed with the 20 mm wide adhesive tape, you can meet most of the practical cases. It is recommended to use a thin, tear-resistant paper for the tape; other suitable substances can also be used. will.
In order to use the tape sticking machine for the tasks that are explained above with reference to FIGS. 8 to 11, the supporting tape roll is replaced by an adhesive tape roll containing an adhesive tape 2 '. As can be seen from FIG. 14, this roll is preferably used in such a way that, with reference to FIG. 14, the adhesive tape is peeled off at the top, while the carrier tape roll is used in such a way that the carrier tape, as indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 14, is below is deducted.
It is also the releasably attached folding nozzle 20 against a tape guide 60 of the shape shown in FIGS. 20 and 21. The holding part of this tape guide is cranked so that the tape guide 60 guides the tape 2 'according to FIGS. 17 and 18 and that the adhesive tape 2' is glued flat onto the workpiece 1 and its outer edge is flush with the edge of the work piece 1.
In this way of using the tape gluing machine, the adhesive tape roll 14 carried by the bearing arm 11b (see FIG. 12) is not used; it can be omitted for this use.
The offset of the tape guide 60 can be selected to be of different strengths. Thus, in Fig. 22 a tape guide 60 'is shown, which contains a less strong crank than the tape guide according to Fig. 20 and accordingly moves the adhesive tape guided by it to the left with respect to the right edge of the workpiece, something like that 10 and 11 is apparent. Then, as shown in Fig. 16, a spacer disk 61 is attached next to the spool core 40, which corresponds to the crank of the tape guide 60 'according to Fig. 22, so that the adhesive tape 2' roll off the adhesive tape without lateral bending into the edge Leader 60 'arrives. The lateral offset of the adhesive tape 2 'with respect to the workpiece can be selected to be of different strengths.
Accordingly, a set of differently cranked tape guides 60, 60 'etc. and also a corresponding set of spacers 61 of different thicknesses will be seen easily. The rolls 21 and 22 are dimensioned so wide that with the greatest lateral displacement of the adhesive tape 2 'and with the largest bandwidth, the adhesive tape is still covered by the rolls 21 and 22 - preferably in its entire width. If the machine is only to be used for the purposes described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7, the rollers 21 and 22 can be narrower, as shown, for example, in FIGS. 18a and 19a.
In addition to the above-mentioned detail, FIGS. 17a to 19a differ from FIGS. 17 to 19 in that these last-mentioned figures depict the tape-sticking machine with the edge guide 60 inserted, while FIGS. 17a to 19a show the machine with the inserted Show rebate nozzle 20.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 12 to 22, the folding nozzle 20 and, correspondingly, the tape guides 60, 60 'with the aid of two screws ben on the frame or a projection thereof' is releasably attached. In order to facilitate the change from, it is advisable to make use of the arrangement according to FIGS. 23 and 24. Thereafter, a bolt 62 is connected to the frame 11, which has a thread on its free end and on which there is a handle nut 63 and a pressure piece 64 which is angled at one end and is supported with this angled end on the frame and which at the other end contains two holes with which it can be plugged onto two pins 65 and 66 of the frame.
The tape guide 60 and the folding nozzle 20 have corresponding holes so that they can be placed on the pins 65 and 66 and clamped between the frame or its projection and the pressure piece 64. To replace each the grip nut 63 is loosened until the pressure piece 64 is free from the pins 65 and 66 and can be pivoted about the bolt 62 GE.
Then the edge guide is swapped against another tape leader or against a folding nozzle or a folding nozzle against another folding nozzle, and then the pressure piece 64 is brought back into engagement with the pins 65 and 66, and it is by tightening the nut 63 the Newly inserted folding nozzle or the inserted edge guide clamped.
Is. 25 and 26, the tape guide designated here with 60 "or the folding nozzle designated here with 20 'is equipped with elongated holes 60a" or 20a ". To determine the basic setting, can it is advisable to attach a stop 67 to the base body, against which the tape guide 60 ″ or the folding nozzle 20 ′ rests in the basic position (FIGS. 23 and 24).
The setting of the desired lateral offset of the edge guide 60, 60 'and the spool body 36 to 41 or the roll of adhesive tape carried by this can of course also be set up so that a constant adjustment of the lateral offset is possible, e.g. B. in such a way that with the help of a spindle and one with the bobbin and also one with the tape leader verbun which traveling nut the lateral offset is set. Then one does not need spacer disks 61 (FIG. 16) and also not a set of several differently cranked tape guides, at least not for the same adhesive tape width.
As a rule, however, it requires less effort if the arrangement shown in the drawing is used.
It is very advantageous, but not absolutely necessary, to replace the folding nozzle with the tape guide and vice versa. Rather, there is the possibility of leaving the folding nozzle in the machine and adding a tape guide or multiple tape guides to be attached or, if necessary, to add one. If the folding nozzle should be down here, it can be set up to be retractable or pivotable. But what has been said above also applies to this, namely that the embodiment shown in the drawing is generally simpler.
It can be seen that the machine described, depending on the main application for which it is intended by the respective buyer, initially only with the folding nozzle or a set of folding nozzles or only with the tape guide or a set of tape guides and corresponding spacers 61 can be delivered. Then the user still has the option of having the other parts delivered if necessary. The same also applies to the bearing arm 11b and its zugeord designated parts. You can train this bearing arm 11b as a separate part, which is detachably connected to the frame and, if necessary, is delivered afterwards, if the Ma machine is initially only intended by the buyer for purposes as shown in Fig. S to 11.
Finally, it should be mentioned that you can see several bobbins for receiving the carrier tape 3 or the adhesive tape 2 ', in which spacer discs 61 are already inserted, so that you can make use of the prepared coil body in question.
In addition to self-adhesive tapes, other adhesive tapes can also be used, e.g. B. those in which the adhesive effect only occurs when heat is applied. There are then appropriate devices such. B. heating devices to be built into the machine, as is known from the corresponding Randein drum machines.
