Description
Ceiling heating The subject of this invention is a ceiling heating which has a suspended ceiling and a convector for heating this ceiling.
The convector can be located at one edge of the suspended ceiling, namely in such a way that the air outlet from the convector is above and the air inlet to the convector is below the suspended ceiling. The suspended ceiling can be perforated. and the air circulation generated by the convector can take place through the holes. The air can also brush the ceiling surface and flow back into the room past the edges of the suspended ceiling. The convector is preferably shielded from below.
1 shows a schematic representation of an embodiment of the invention. There is 1 a convector arranged along a ceiling edge, 2 a suspended ceiling, 3 a heat insulating layer., 4 a Schiinn that sehirmt the convector downwards, 5 is a perforation of the suspended ceiling, 6 the air inlet to the Kon vector and 7 the Air outlet from the convector.
The way the ceiling heating works is as follows: The convector 1 heats the air. and sucks them in through the inlet opening 6. The heated air moves along the heat insulating layer 3 and falls as a result of cooling through the holes in the suspended ceiling and past the edges of this ceiling back into the room. The suspended ceiling is heated by both the thermal radiation of the insulating layer 3 and the strö emerging warm air.
