Central screw connection for pipes without thread The subject of the present invention is a central screw connection for pipes without thread.
A central screw connection for pipes without a thread is known, with a sealing cone pushed onto the pipe and a sliding sleeve provided with a conical bore and pushed over the sealing cone.
The essence of the present invention is that the sliding sleeve extends to the rear over the sealing cone and in the extended part of the conical bore of the same a harder material than the sealing cone be standing clamping ring, which is when tightening the @hiebemuffe against the back of the Sealing cone applies, is provided.
In the accompanying drawings, several example embodiments of the subject invention are shown, and it zel -'t Fig.1. a longitudinal section. a central veryaubansehlusses for two identical. smooth drilling, FIG. 2 shows a longitudinal section through a central screw connection for a smooth pipe end for connection to a pipe intermediate piece provided with an external thread.
Fi # -. A part of the central screw connection according to FIG. 2 is drawn in a longitudinal section on a larger scale and in the position where the sliding sleeve is not yet firmly tightened, and FIG. 4 shows part of the central screw connection according to FIG in a longitudinal section on a larger scale and in the position where the sliding sleeve is firmly tightened.
In Figure 1, 1 and 2 are two identically designed, to be connected, smooth pipe ends designated. A sealing cone 3 is pushed onto each of the two pipe ends. The sealing cones 3 consist of a material that has a certain degree of plasticity. On the sealing cone 3 each one provided with a conical bore sliding sleeve 4 is pushed, the sliding sleeves 4 are extended to the rear to over the cone you, and in the extended th parts of the conical holes dersel ben are made of harder material than the cone up existing Clamping rings 5 vorgese hen that apply against the back of the sealing cone 3 when tightening the sliding sleeve.
One of the sliding sleeves 4 has an annular shoulder 6 protruding radially outward, against which a cap mat 7 rests. The thread 8 of the nut 7 is screwed to the other, externally threaded sliding sleeve 4 ver.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, 9 denotes a smooth pipe end, 10 the sealing cone pushed onto the pipe end, 11 the clamping ring resting against the back of the sealing cone, 12 the sliding sleeve pushed over the sealing cone 10 and the clamping ring 11, and 13 the sliding sleeve Sliding sleeve 12 pushed-on ÜberwurT- nut, which with its internal thread 14 with, the with. External thread provided R.ohr- z # ischenstück 15 is screwed.
As can be seen from FIG. 3, when the nut 13 is tightened, the sliding sleeve 12 first comes into contact with the sealing cone 10 and compresses it to a certain extent. Then the conical bore of the sliding sleeve 12 also comes into contact with the clamping ring 11, so that when the union nut 1.3 is tightened further, the sealing cone 10 is compressed even more and the clamping ring 17 is also pressed together and with its cutting edges 16 into the wall of the Tube 9 penetrates.
The clamping ring 11 can be designed as a closed ring or as a slotted ring, depending on the nature of its material.
