Description
Hose connection The present invention relates to a hose connection, in particular for hand showers.
This hose connection is characterized by two connector parts that can be plugged into one another, of which the inner end is firmly connected to a hose and at the other end engages in a connection nipple using a sealing ring sunk into a groove and that these two connection parts are connected to one another by a connecting sleeve are connected,
that the outer part with the connecting sleeve is freely rotatable together with respect to the inner part.
An embodiment of the subject of the invention is then tert erläu with reference to a drawing. In the figure, the hose connection is shown in the assembled state.
The connection has two connection parts 1 and 2. The connection part 1 comprises a connection nipple 6 with an external thread 7 and a shoulder ring 8 and a cylindrical nipple attachment 9 which is also provided with an external thread. The nipple 6 has a stepped bore 10 which forms a shoulder 11 . A shower handle 12 is screwed to the nipple attachment 9 .
The connection part 2 consists of a part 15 and a clamp 3. A rubber hose 16 is between the. Part 15 and the bride 3 mounted on their conical surfaces. The rubber hose 16 is encased by a metal hose 5 . A connecting sleeve 4 is slidably arranged. It has a shoulder 14 which abuts against the bride 3 . The part 15 has a groove 20 screwed in, into which an O-ring 21 is inserted, and has a bore 22. The bracket 3 is soldered to the metal hose 5 .
The part 15 is screwed to the clamp 3 , whereby the coaxial conical surfaces of the two parts press the hose 6 tight. The figure shows the connection in the assembled state. The two connection parts 1 and 2 are plugged into one another. The shoulders 11 and 19 lie on top of one another and the O-ring 21 seals against the outside. The connecting sleeve 4 is screwed to the nipple 6 and is flush with the shoulder 8 .
The two connecting parts 1 and 2 can be displaced axially relative to one another within the framework of the play between the shoulder 14 and the bracket 3 without at least influencing the sealing.
The described arrangement creates a hose connection which allows the hand shower to be freely rotated with respect to the hose, so that the metal hose and the rubber hose present in it are not twisted and damaged when the hand shower is turned.
By turning the hand shower, the seal between the two parts is not loosened; the seal is therefore guaranteed.
