Description

Boilers Boilers have so far usually been equipped with an inner boiler made of galvanized sheet iron, around which there was an insulation layer, which in turn was covered by shuttering. It turned out that the inner boilers made of galvanized sheet iron were attacked by certain types of water. In such cases, the expensive inner kettles made of copper or suitable metal alloys were used.

The present invention is based on the knowledge that it is possible to create a boiler in which the casing, inner boiler and insulation layer are omitted as individual elements. The boiler according to the invention is characterized in that it has a non-wired jacket which, in terms of volume, consists for the most part of porous material that is compressed on the inner jacket surface to form a water-impermeable skin.

In one embodiment of the inven tion, the unsheathed jacket consists of synthetic resin foam compressed on its inside and outside to form a skin. The inner skin is waterproof, while the outer skin only accepts a coat of paint, ensures a clean appearance of the boiler and can be easily cleaned.

The coat can with a reinforcement, for. B. be provided of rods or wires made of iron or another metal or alloy.

So that no residues can accumulate in the boiler, the water inlet is preferably at least approximated, that is, to the nearest 10, tangential to the inner surface of the jacket. In addition to porous plastic. any other porous material which should preferably have a low coefficient of thermal conductivity, e.g. B. aerated concrete can be used.
