Cable wheel emergency brake for cable cars. The subject of the invention is a cable wheel emergency brake for cable cars, with a propor tional to the cable wheel speed driven, for the automatic triggering of the emergency braking be certain controller and with a proportional to the cable wheel speed drivable, switched on by the controller Bremsbetoptervor direction.
In previously known emergency brakes for cable cars, a drop weight is provided as a drive for the brake spindle, the falling movement of which is controlled by a centrifugal controller when z. B. 20% Übergeschwindig speed of the rope wheel is triggered, so that the time of brake actuation is determined by the fall time to attack the braking elements and the severity of the falling weight and thus, if necessary, can not be accelerated or intensified.
Brakes have already been provided for drum winches for which the brake actuation force is supplied by the drum or its drive means, but here an emergency braking option is only provided for one direction of rotation of the drum winch, while the possibility for cable cars with circulating or pendulum operation emergency braking must be the same in one direction as the other.
According to the invention, the brake actuation device is assigned a switch-on device which is exposed to the switch-on action of the controller and which always switches the actuation device on in the sense of brake actuation regardless of the direction of rotation of the cable wheel.
In the drawing, a Ausführungsbei is shown game of the subject invention. Fig. 1 shows a cable drive wheel emergency brake schematically in a perspective view and Fig. 2 shows a rotation rectifier partly in front view and partly in axial section. The cable drive wheel 11 mounted on a vertical axis 10 has an external ring gear 12 on which the drive motor, not shown, operates and which rotates the shaft 14 of a centrifugal controller 15 via a pinion 13, on which the drive bevel gear 16 of a rotational direction rectifier is also attached.
With the bevel gear 16 are two bevel gears 18 and 18 'mounted on a common axis 17 in engagement, between which a chain wheel 19 is mounted on the axis 17, which with the axially engageable and disengageable coupling halves 20 and 20 'Two toothed clutches are rotatably connected and with means of these halves with one or the other of the other coupling halves have the bevel gears 18 and 18' can be coupled.
The chain wheel 1.9 drives by means of the chain 21 a chain wheel 23 which is arranged on the brake spindle 22 and which is in rotary connection with the brake spindle 22 via a slip clutch 24. In two opposing threads 25 and 26 of the brake spindle 22 each engages a traveling nut 27 and 28, each of which is arranged on the inside of the ring gear 12 of the cable drive wheel 11 to attack on the inside of the ring gear 12 of the cable drive 11 brake when shifted on the spindle via a brake lever 29 or 30 jaw 31 or 32 actuated.
To turn on the Bremsbackenbetäti supply an operable by the centrifugal controller 15 switching element is provided, which consists of a pivotably mounted on a horizontal axis 33 two-armed cam lever 34, the upwardly extending arm 35 in the area of one on the periphery of the housing of the centrifugal controller 15 at Exceeding a certain, adjustable speed of the controller exiting driver pin 36 is sufficient, which then depending on the direction of rotation given to the controller 15 by the cable drive wheel, the arm 35 in Fig.
2 swings out to the right or to the left. The cam 37 formed by the downwardly protruding lever arm is sector-shaped in the pivoting plane, and two angle levers 38 and 38 'are positively supported on its circular arc periphery in the rest position of the cam by means of a guide roller 39 or 39' attached to one of its arms. Each of the two levers 38 and 38 'mounted on an axis 40 or 40' carries a slidable and lockable Fallge weight 41 and 41 'on its other arm and is on this arm via a rod 42 and 42' at an angle levers 43 and 43 'connected in an articulated manner, each of which attack one of the toothed coupling halves 20 and 20'.
The operation of the emergency brake described is as follows: If the speed of the cable drive wheel 11 rotating in the direction of rotation of the solid arrow exceeds the permissible limit, the automatic emergency braking occurs on the centrifugal controller 15, which is proportionally driven by the wheel 11, of the driver pin 36 from the controller housing and pivots the lever arm 35 to the right and thus the cam 37 to the left.
This removes the support on the cam from the guide roller 39 and the angle lever 38 rotates. under the action of the falling weight 41 counterclockwise and moves over the rod 42 and the angle lever 43 the Zahnkupp treatment half 20 from its disengaged rest position corresponding to the disengaged brake into the associated coupling half on the bevel gear 18, which is now driven by the cable drive wheel via the chain drive 19, 21, 23 and the slip clutch 24 drives the brake spindle 22 in proportion to the speed of the cable wheel in the direction of the arrow.
The running nuts 27 and 28 migrate on their spindle thread 25 and 26 against each other and bring the brake jaws 31 and 3: 3 to rest on the inside of the ring gear 12, with a braking force that is dependent on the setting of the slip clutch 24. If the cable drive wheel rotates in the direction of the dotted arrow, the cam lever 34 is pivoted in the opposite direction and causes the lever linkage 38 ', 42', 43 'to be actuated to move the coupling half 20' for coupling the bevel gear 18 'to the chain wheel 19, where the chain drive and the brake spindle are driven in the direction of the arrow as before.
The guide roller 39 or 39 'of the angle lever actuated by the pivoting of the shift lever 34 attaches itself after leaving the circular arc periphery of the cam 37 when the clutch is engaged to the right or left sector flank of the latter with respect to the pivoting movement of the cam that followed and then forms a stop which prevents the return of the cam to the starting position for its actuation. The return can only take place under the action of a return spring 44 acting on the lever arm 35 when the falling weight 41 or 41 'with its angled lever 38 or 38' is pivoted up again into the starting position.
A handwheel 45 with which the emergency brake can be actuated and released by hand is attached to the brake spindle 22.
The shift lever 34 can be combined with an elec tric switch, the <. Pivoting the lever from its rest position is actuated and the drive motor for the cable drive wheel is switched off.
In the emergency brake described, the chain drive z. B. drive a gear pump instead of the brake spindle to actuate the brake shoes from this on hydrauli Schem ways. A reversible pump could be provided, the switching of which for the brake shoe actuation in both directions of rotation of the cable drive wheel can be carried out by a valve that can be operated by means of the centrifugal controller, which, in order to respond to the respective direction of rotation of the cable drive wheel, can be switched in two directions, whereby the mechanical, direction of rotation rectifier formed by the two tooth clutches is superfluous.
The emergency brake can also wheel just as well with another rope instead of the cable wheel, z. B. a rope pulley, to which the rope is pressed enough that the braking effect on the rope is carried over.
