Fig. 2a zeigt.
Fig. 3 und 4).
Device for squeezing out goods containing liquid, in particular fruits. The present invention relates to a device for squeezing out liquid-containing goods, in particular fruits, by means of compressed gas. The device consists of a container with a rigid wall, held together by at least one outer support element, through which the liquid can emerge, in which container a gas-impermeable, rubber-elastic material is arranged with a correspondingly shaped, gas-filled bladder at least one connection for the compressed gas through its wall.
The value of a device for squeezing out goods containing liquid is to be assessed on the basis of the completeness and the speed with which the squeezing can be carried out. It should be taken into account that experience has shown that certain goods, e.g. B. grape mash, the application of several pressing pressures is necessary for sufficient pressing and the pressed material has to be loosened between two successive pressing processes.
The previously known devices of the given type usually work in the fixed specified type mostly work in fixed containers in which membranes or the walls of a bladder or a rubber loop are pressed onto the material to be pressed out by means of compressed gas.
It has now been found that certain goods, e.g. B. grape mash, with a much greater effect and better economic speed by means of a device of the type described above, which is characterized because that the container is rotatably mounted about a horizontal axis.
In the accompanying drawings, several embodiments of the subject invention are illustrated. They show: FIG. 1 a drum-like device seen from the front side of the head, with a hose-like inflated bladder (shown in dashed lines), which is empty and folded before the respective pressing into the drum between the material to be pressed - and after each pressing out of the drum is removed, Fig.2 broken off the right half of the device seen from the side of Fig. 1,
2a and 2b the fastening of the lid according to FIGS. 1 and 2, FIG. 3 schematically shows a drum cross-section with the bladder according to FIGS. 1 and 2 lying in the drum in the evacuated and folded state, FIG. 4 the bladder after Fig. 3 in the inflated state, Fig. 5 the accessories, namely over pressure valve, manometer, drain cock and shut-off valve for the supply of compressed air, Fig. 6 to 9 in section the right half of the device,
the tubular bladder being firmly clamped in the drum in various ways, FIG. 9a shows a device with a full-walled outer jacket around the drum jacket provided with passages and spaced apart by webs, FIG. 10 shows the arrangement of the accessories on the outside of one of the 6 and 7, Fig.ll the arrangement of the accessories on a pierced shaft stub, Fig.12 the arrangement of an additional air supply on a pierced Wel lenstumpf in addition to that according to FIGS. 6 and 7.
In Fig. 1 and 2, a drum 21 is horizontally in an iron frame 20 with two Wel lenstümpfen 23, which are welded coaxially on two drum bases 24 and store 22 in two balls, suspended. The drum bases 24 are connected to one another by three pairs of rails 25. The rails are welded to the bottom of the drum reinforcement ribs 26. These rails 25 have a double purpose: They have to absorb the pressure that acts on the drum bases 24 during operation, and they also serve to distribute it over the entire length of the drum. to hold rings 27 provided as support elements in their position. They are therefore welded together with all the points of contact with these rings, namely on the circumference of the rings. The rings are made of flat iron and bent on edge.
The drum shell forming the wall 21 consists of Blechsekto ren 28 provided with slots 28.
An opening 29 is provided in the drum shell. The opening is used to insert a correspondingly designed and folded, gas-impermeable bladder 7 made of rubber-elastic material with connection stub zen 8 and for filling the pressed material or emptying the pressed material residue and is closed after filling with a lid 30 ver, which is the curve of the drum mantels adapts and is also made from sectors of slotted sheet metal. The cover 30 is held on one side according to FIGS. 2a and 2b.
Thereafter, a bar 71 is attached to the Trom melmantel 21 along the opening, the jaws 72, which on the side facing abge from the edge of the drum opening each have a semicircular Ausspa tion, not shown in Figs. 2a and 2b, in the the rod 73 can lay down. Correspondingly, a bar 32 is attached to the adjacent side of the cover, which carries hinge jaws 31 with the above-mentioned round rod 73. On the other hand, the cover is fastened by a tensioning device according to FIGS. 2a and 2b.
Thereafter, a bar 71 'is attached to the drum shell 21 along the opening, the jaws 35 each having a semicircular recess, also not shown in FIGS. 2a and 2b, on the side facing away from the edge of the drum opening, in which the round rod 74 can lay down. Correspondingly, a bar 79 is attached to the adjacent side of the cover. This bar carries jaws 34, which on the side facing away from the edge of the drum opening each have an almost semicircular recess in which you can see the clamping lever 76 with their round 77 applications. The clamping device ordered from round bar 74, tabs 33. Articulated bar 75, clamping lever 76 with rounding, 77 and drift 78.
The tabs 33 are, as Fig.2a and 2b shows, fixedly attached to the round rod 71 and lever 76 movably connected at its other end by means of the hinge rod 75 with the clamping. The clamping lever 76 have on your the joint rod 7 initially. The ends are eccentric to the center of the axis of the hinge rod 75 and are fixed to one another at the other end by the (meeting 78).
To close the drum 21, the lid 30 is inserted into the semicircular recess of the jaws 72 according to FIG. 2a above with the round rod 73. On the other side of the cover, the round rod 7-1 of the clamping device is inserted into the semicircular recess of the jaws 35 of the drum jacket, as.
Fig. 2a shows. If the braces 33 are placed tangentially on the drum wall, while the clamping levers 76 protrude at right angles from the brackets, and if the clamping levers 76 with the handle 78 connecting them are then pressed until they rest against the drum wall, the curves slide 77 of the clamping lever 76 in the recesses of the jaws 34. Due to the eccentric position of the curves 77 relative to the joint rod 75, the clamping levers 76 exert a train on the tabs 33.
The jaws 35 of the drum shell and 34 of the cover are mutually clamped and the cover is thus also fastened on this side.
On one stub shaft 23 is located. a sprocket 36 (Fig.2). A motor 37 with a small chain wheel 38 is arranged on the side of the frame 20 (FIG. 1), which is connected to the chain wheel 36 by a chain, with the aid of which the drum can be rotated if necessary. A ring 39 is welded onto the reinforcing ribs 26 on one head side of the drum (FIGS. 1 and 2). In the same holes 40 are made into which a locking pin 41 can be inserted with a handle. The bolt 41 is guided in a sleeve 42 on the relevant head side of the frame. This locking bolt 41 is set up in such a way that the handle rests flat on the edge of the frame when the locking bolt 41 is in the engaged position.
In this position it verdeekt with a Seheibe 43 attached to it the motorized lever 44 (Fig. 1). If the bolt 41 is disengaged, its handle hangs down by its own weight, and the disk 43 attached to it changes its position so that the motor shift lever is accessible. This ensures that the motor cannot be stopped as long as the bolt 41 is engaged, that is to say the drum is blocked.
Underneath the drum 21, a trough 45 is releasably suspended, which in the suspended state serves to catch the juice, but can be placed on the floor after it has been squeezed out to receive the residue to be pressed. The tub has four wheels 46 so that it can also be extended from the frame as required.
When the bladder is inflated by means of compressed gas (in the present case compressed air) in the drum filled with material to be pressed, the material to be pressed is pressed against the drum shell in a largely evenly thick layer.
The layer of pressed material becomes thinner and thinner as the bladder continues to expand, and the juice can easily and quickly emerge from the relatively thin layer. The way in which the bladder is arranged in the container and can be pressurized, and the Rotatability of the drum has the advantage that, for example, the grape mash can be crushed and loosened after pressing by continuously rotating the drum for subsequent pressing without, as already mentioned, the pressed material from the drum after pressing needs to take out
as with the presses of the previous type; in which you take the pressed grape mash, if you want to crush it, out of the drum, in a special crushing machine, z. B. a pulp mill or centrifugal grinder, and then bring it back into the drum for re-pressing.
The work of taking the pressed material out of the drum, crushing it on the grinder mill and putting the crushed material back into the drum requires considerably more time and money than the only 2 to 5 minute crushing in the one described here Embodiment of the device by rotating the drum.
When the so-called press cake is shredded on a special shredding machine, the stems, pips and berry skins are partially torn, which in turn leads to excessively harmful tannic acid in the juice during the subsequent pressing.
In a pulp mill or centrifugal grinder, the individual parts torn from the press cake come into contact with the air longer and more intensively than in the embodiment of the device described here, which increases the oxidation, which is harmful to the quality and color of the juice (wine) becomes.
In the device described above, however, the loosening of the previously pressed one or more times th press cake takes place in the rotating drum itself by the pieces of the press cake loosening from the drum wall during the rotation roll over each other and thereby into small ones Dissolve the pieces, taking care not to tear the stems and berry skins.
In the embodiment of the device described here, in which a removable bladder is provided, the deflated bladder can be removed beforehand. In another embodiment, described later, in which a firmly clamped bladder is provided, the compressed gas can simply be released beforehand, after which the mutual rolling over and dissolving of the pressed cake pieces can take place in the space between the bladder and the drum wall.
The arrangement described has the further advantage that even smaller amounts of the press cake or the press cake which has become smaller in volume after pressing and loosening and which no longer completely fill the drum is distributed approximately evenly over the entire drum surface, which means one for one Expressing favorable thin layer is achieved.
This is caused by the fact that the bladder is inflated while the drum rotates at the same time, so that the press cake is distributed and distributed under the influence of its heavy weight, the occurring centrifugal force and the frictional resistance when sliding in the increasingly narrowing space between the bladder and drum shell is pressed against the drum shell by the bladder.
3 shows schematically in cross section the drum shell 1 and the inserted empty and folded bladder 7. The arrangement corresponds to the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2. 8 is the connection piece that comes into the opening 29 and before the cover 30 is closed together with the bladder is inserted into the drum accordingly.
FIG. 4 shows schematically the bladder according to FIG. 3 in the inflated state.
Fig. 5 shows the appropriate assembly together of accessories for the supply of compressed air for mounting on the connection clip 8 of the bladder (see. Fig. 3 and 4). The accessories are a pressure relief valve 9, a pressure gauge 10 indicating the pressure in the bladder, a drain cock 11 to be able to quickly remove the pressure, and a shut-off cock 12 to reduce the pressure in the bladder after the compressed air supply line has been removed from the device maintain. These accessories can be attached to the device either single or double according to the following statements.
If they are used twice, e.g. B. for reasons of operational safety, it may be useful to see the accessories including compressed air supply line to the bladder in two different places, z. B. on the opposite side of the drum base.
In Fig. 6 is. Each of the two thickened ends 56 of the hose-like bladder is folded over from the outside inwards via a flange ring 58 and clamped between the flange ring and a disk 57 in a lift-tight manner. The bladder is arranged coaxially in the drum, so that in the inflated state it is all the same distance away from the wall of the drum.
Within the bladder 7 ver runs in the longitudinal direction coaxially to the container, which is again designed as a drum, a shaft consisting of a rod 52 at each of the two drum ends and a tube 51, in which the latter each rod 52 is partially pushed and with the protruding end firmly the corresponding disc 57 is welded ver. On the outside of each disc 57, a pin 54 is arranged, with the help of which the closed bladder rests in the bearings placed on the inside of the drum bases. On one head side of the drum, the inlet nipple 8, which passes through the disc 57 and is airtightly welded to the same at the passage point, leads from the inside of the bladder through an opening 55 in the drum base 24 to the outside.
Fig. 7 shows a device according to FIG. 6, in which each of the thickened ends 56 of a hose-like bladder 7 is folded over a flange ring 59 from the outside to the inside and between this and the drum base 24 by means of screws 60 and nuts 61 is clamped airtight. On eileer head side of the drum, for the purpose of introducing the compressed air into the bladder, the inlet nipple 8 is seen, which is welded tightly to the drum base 24 at the passage point and carries the accessories for the supply of compressed air.
Fig. 8 shows a device similar to that of Fig.7. The non-thickened ends of a bladder 7 are in this Ausfüh approximately example before being wedged between the face ring 59 and the drum base 24 by a wire ring 62 and wrapped around this so that the bladder is at the clamping point 63 is double. The compressed air can be supplied in a manner not shown here through an inlet nipple according to FIG. 6 or 7.
Fig. 9 shows a device in which a bladder is attached with its tapered ends with the aid of the ring 64 on the one head side on the rod 52 and on the other head side with the ring 64a on the tube 51. The outer end of the rod 52 is welded to the disk 59a. On the other head side, the tube 51 is welded to the disk 59b, which in turn is air-tightly fastened to the head wall of the drum, so that a hat-tight connection is made between the channel in the stub shaft 23 and the tube 51. The compressed air which is directed into the channel passes through openings in the tube 51 into the bladder.
9a shows a device in which the drum wall 21 having passages is given by a full-walled outer jacket 47 and held together. This outer jacket has an opening, not shown here, for filling and emptying the drum, which corresponds to the wall of the drum. The opening in the outer casing 47 has a closure cover which adapts to the rounding of this casing. The lid fastening is the same as that described in connection with FIGS. 2a and 2b.
By webs 48, which are arranged on the outside of the drum wall 21, a distance is created between this and the outer jacket 47 to obtain a drainage space. The drum wall 21 is formed from individual sectors that can be removed through the opening in the outer jacket 47 during cleaning. A connecting piece 49 serves to drain the juice from the device.
FIG. 10 shows a plan view of the arrangement of the accessories according to FIG. 5, that is to say a pressure relief valve 9, a pressure gauge 10, a drain cock 17 and a shut-off cock 12, on the outside of one of the drum bases according to FIGS. 6 and 7. These are open the inlet nipple 8 (Feg. 6, 7 and 12), which leads through an opening 55 of a drum base 24.
Fig.11 shows the same accessories as in Fig.10, but by means of a stuffing box 67 rotatably attached to a gezeich designated in longitudinal section, traversed by a channel 66 Wel lenstumpf 23. Here, the compressed air enters the tube 51 from the channel 66 and enters the bladder 7 through openings 50.
FIG. 12 shows an additional compressed air introduction through the stub shaft for the purpose of faster filling or emptying in a device in which the main compressed air introduction is elsewhere, e.g. B. as in Fig.10, is arranged.
A non-return valve 68 is arranged on the end of the pierced M-cell stub 23, which is formed. The compressed air supply hose 13 ends in a connector 70 with a junction 69 for attaching a (not shown) to accessory part, for. B. a pressure gauge.
If the connecting piece 70 with its trough-shaped end is pressed onto the check valve 68, additional compressed air can be fed from the compressed air supply hose 13 through the connecting piece 70 and through the check valve 68 into the channel 66 of the pierced shaft stub 23 and from there further into the bladder 7 arrive.
In the embodiment of the container in the form of a particularly elongated drum, the device can be made relatively low according to the needs of practice, so that you can work with it in low rooms. Since it can be designed with a significantly lower weight than the known devices of this type, it can be easily transported from one work place to another through narrow aisles, especially if it is provided with castors.
In particular, it can be moved under the draining container, that is to say storage container for mash, so that the press material can slide out of this directly through the filling opening into the device and the pressing can be carried out there on the spot.
