Description

  

  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 306387.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     3'-Oxy-4'-carboxyphenylesters    einer metallhaltigen       Phthalocyanintetrasulfonsäure.            Gegenstand    der vorliegenden Erfindung  ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     3'-Oxy-          4'-earboxyphenylesters    einer     Kupferphthalo-          cyanintetrasulfonsäure,    welches dadurch ge  kennzeichnet ist, dass man 1     Mol        Küpfer-          plithalocy        anin-4,4',4",41"-tetrasulfochlorid    mit.

    1<B>3101</B>     1.,3-Dioxybenzol-4-earbonsätire    in Gegen  wart einer Mineralsäure neutralisierenden       Substanz        zur    Umsetzung bringt.  



  Das zu verwendende     Kupferphthalocyanin-          tetrasulfochlorid    kann durch Einwirkung von       Chlorsulfonsäure    auf     Kupferphthaloeyanin-          4,4',4",4"'-tetrasulfonsäure    erhalten werden.  



  Im nachfolgenden Beispiel bedeuten die  Teile Gewichtsteile.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  29 Teile     Kupferphthalocyanin-4,4',4",4"'-          tet.rasulfochlorid        (33/10o        Mol)    werden mit  200 Teilen zerkleinertem Eis vermischt und  unter Rühren eine Lösung von 1.4,2 Teilen       (')/,o0        Mol)        1,3-Dioxybenzol-4-carbonsäure    und  7,2 Teilen     Natriumhydroxyd        (1001/o)    in  1.50 Teilen     -Wasser    zugegeben.

   Nach beendeter  Umsetzung säuert man das Reaktionsgemisch  mit Salzsäure an, trennt die ausgeschiedene       Farbstoffsäure    ab, löst dieselbe in Wasser und       Natriumearbonat    und salzt mit Natrium  ehlorid aus.  



  Das in guter Ausbeute erhaltene Natrium  salz des     3'-Oxy-4'-carboxyphenylesters    der       Iiupferphthaloryanin-4,    4', 4",     41"-tetrasulfon-          säure    stellt ein blauviolettes Pulver dar, das  sich in Wasser mit tiefblauer und in k     onz.     Schwefelsäure mit leuchtend grüner Farbe löst.    Der neue Farbstoff eignet sich zum Fär  ben von Baumwolle, Viskose und Wolle. Im  besonderen eignet. sich der Farbstoff im Chrom  druck auf Baumwolle. Es werden kräftige,  leuchtende Blautöne von vorzüglichen     Nass-          echtheiten    und hervorragender Lichtechtheit  erhalten.  



  Auf     anodiseh    oxydiertes Aluminium ge  färbt, ergibt der Farbstoff ein blaustichiges  Grün.
