Description
<B>Verfahren zur Herstellung eines komplexen Eisensalzes von</B> Isonicotinsäurehydrazid. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen komplexen Eisensalzes des Isonicotinsäure- hydrazids, dem mutmasslich die folgende For mel zukommt:

Das Verfahren gemäss der vorliegenden Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Pyridin-4-earbonsäurehydrazid, vorzugsweise in wässeriger Lösung, mit Ferrosulfat zur Umsetzung gebracht wird.
Die neue Verbindung besitzt wertvolle therapeutische Eigenschaften; sie ist insbeson dere gegen Tuberkulose wirksam und soll des halb als Heilmittel verwendet werden.
Die Umsetzung zwischen den Reaktions komponenten wird zweckmässigerweise so durchgeführt, dass eine wässerige Lösung des Ferrosulfats einer wässerigen Lösung von Pyridin-4-carbonsäurehydrazid bei Raumtem peratur zugesetzt wird. Es erfolgt dabei au-- genblicklich Ausfällung eines bräunlichen Niederschlages.
<I>Beispiel:</I> Einer wässerigen Lösung von 14 Gewichts teilen Pyridin-4-carbonsäurehydrazid in 50 Volumteilen Wasser wird eine Lösung von <B>27,8</B> Gewichtsteilen Perrosulfat in 150 Volum- teilen Wasser bei Raumtemperatur zugesetzt. Es fällt nach kurzer Zeit ein bräunlicher kri stalliner Niederschlag des komplexen Eisen salzes aus, das abfiltriert, mit Wasser gewa schen lind getrocknet dvird.

The process according to the present invention is characterized in that pyridine-4-carboxylic acid hydrazide, preferably in aqueous solution, is reacted with ferrous sulfate.
The new compound has valuable therapeutic properties; it is particularly effective against tuberculosis and should therefore be used as a remedy.
The reaction between the reaction components is expediently carried out in such a way that an aqueous solution of ferrous sulfate is added to an aqueous solution of pyridine-4-carboxylic acid hydrazide at room temperature. A brownish precipitate immediately precipitates.
<I> Example: </I> An aqueous solution of 14 parts by weight of pyridine-4-carboxylic acid hydrazide in 50 parts by volume of water is added to a solution of 27.8 parts by weight of perrosulfate in 150 parts by volume of water at room temperature . After a short time, a brownish, crystalline precipitate of the complex iron salt separates out, which is filtered off, washed with water and dried.
