Hydraulic press with at least two cylinders. The invention relates to a hy draulisehe press with at least two Zylin countries, from which pressure forces are transmitted to a point of attack on a common press beam. In such presses, it is necessary to ensure a precise parallel guide of the press beam, even if the counter pressure of the pressed material is distributed asymmetrically over the length of the press beam. For this purpose, it was previously necessary to let the bar run in strong term guides at both ends, which turned out to be heavier and more space-consuming, the greater the stroke of the press had to be.
The present invention now creates a press in which an exact Par- the press beam is ensured even with asymmetrical distribution of the counter pressure because the Druckwir effect of each individual cylinder is automatically reduced when the press beam is at the point of application of the pressure forces Cyliners against the points of attack of the pressure forces of other cylinders begins to advance.
According to the invention, a control member is assigned to each cylinder of the hydraulic press, which controls the connections of at least one working space of this cylinder with a pressure fluid source and whose movable part interacts with a stop that allows this part of the control member to be moved beyond a certain end position prevents that this connection is open, and that these control members are coupled to one another via coupling means mounted on the press beam,
that a different displacement of the mentioned points of attack of the press beam causes a corresponding different displacement of the moving parts of the control organs of the cylinders associated with these points of attack, but a shift of the movable part of the control element assigned to the following point of attack beyond the end position mentioned the stop is prevented and only a displacement of the movable part of the control element assigned to the leading point of attack is effected in the sense of shutting off said connection.
Generally is. in such presses the press beam is made very rigid, s;) that for its parallel guidance it is sufficient to provide two cylinders, the pressure of which is controlled according to the invention.
The invention, however, is also applicable by analogy to presses with more than two cylinders and less rigid press beams; In such presses, in addition to the parallel guidance of the beam, it is also important to reduce its bending by adapting the pressure effect of the individual cylinders to the counter-pressures of the pressed material occurring in the area of the points of application of their pressure forces on the beam.
That with. Advancement and lagging of individual pressure points of application of the beam of a multi-cylinder press associated with bending bends can be borrowed in basically the same way according to the invention as the advance and trailing of one or the other pressure point of application of the practically rigid beam S of a two-cylinder press , which is associated with a very inclined position of this bar. An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in the accompanying drawing.
The press shown has a press table 1 and two lateral uprights 2 on which the press beam 3 is guided so that it can be moved up and down. These parts are known per se and are only indicated in the drawing by dash-dotted lines. A pressure cylinder 4, in which a double-acting piston 5 slides, is attached to each stand 2. With its end face this piston in the cylinder 4 limits an upper working space 6, with its rear side a lower working space 7 which surrounds the piston rod 8 of the piston 5. This goes in a stuffing box (not shown) through the cover 9 of the cylinder to the outside and engages with its lower end on the press beam 3.
The grip points of the two piston rods 8 on the press beam 3 are each located in the area of one end of the beam.
The pressure fluid used to operate the press is fed by a pump 11 driven by a motor 10 from a container 12 into a pressure line 13. This connects the pump 11 via a pressure relief valve 14, a main valve 15 and a branch line 16 each with two Steuerorga NEN 17, each of which controls the supply and discharge of the pressure fluid to or from one of the cylinders 4. Each control member 17 is connected via a branch line 18 to an Ent discharge line 19 which leads back into the container 12. More relief lines 20 and 21 connect the main slide 15 or the Überdruekv valve 14 with the container 12; In addition, a line 22 collects the leakage oil from the control elements 17 and from the main slide 15 and also guides it back into the container 12.
The pressure relief valve 14 is used to limit the pressure of the pressure fluid supplied by the pump 11. It contains a valve piston 24 loaded by a spring 23, which closes a connection between the pressure line 13 and the relief line 21 and releases it when the pressure in the line 13 exceeds a certain value given by the bias of the spring 23. Hydraulic fluid from line 13 then flows back through line 21 into container 12 until the pressure in line 13 has fallen below the specified value again.
The main slide 15 is used to guide the pump 11 promoted hydraulic fluid to the control members and cylinders depending on the position of a hand lever 25 and a foot lever 26 coupled to this effect or to break. It comprises an automatic check valve 27 arranged in the pressure line 13 and a control slide 29 with a wide annular groove between two cylindrical sealing surfaces, which can be displaced by means of these levers via a linkage 30 in a cylinder bore of the valve housing 28. In the cylinder bore of the housing open in front of the check valve 27 to the pressure line 13 and a control channel connected to the relief line 20.
In the rest and middle position of the levers 25 and 26 and the control slide 29, the annular groove of the latter connects the two control channels so that the pumped liquid flows from the part of the pressure line 13 located between the pump 11 and the check valve 27 the relief line 20 flows back into the container 12. The R_iieksehlag- valve 2 7 then remains closed and prevents the emptying of the part of the line 13 or
of the branch lines 16. When the levers 5 Lund 20 are depressed, i.e. in their position for closing the press, the slide 29 is shifted upwards from the position shown, suffering from its lower dielectric surface blocks the one leading to the relief line 20 Control channel. The pressure of the liquid coming from the pump through line 13 opens the non-return valve 27 and reaches the control devices 17.
The same is the case when the levers 25 and 26 are pivoted upwards and the gate valve 29 is thus pulled down, since then its upper sealing surface blocks the control channel coming from the pressure line 13. This lever position corresponds to opening the press.
The control members 17, each of which is assigned to one of the cylinders 4, control the supply of pressure fluid from the pressure line 13 or its branch lines 16 to the working spaces 6 and 7 and the removal of liquid from these rooms through the branch lines 18 and the relief line 19 after the container 12, depending on the position of the levers 25 and 26 as well as a possible advance of the one end of the press beam 3 with respect to the other end. Each organ has 17. a housing 31 with a cylindrical Boh tion, in which a movable part of the member 17 forming the spool 32 is displaceable.
This has three cylindrical sealing surfaces and two annular grooves located between them and has a slightly smaller diameter than the housing bore underneath the lowest sealing surface, so that it is surrounded there by an annular space that represents a third annular groove. This annular space and the upper of the two annular grooves are mitein other through a longitudinal channel of the control slide in open connection.
In the Zylin derbohrung of the housing 31 open four control channels: the top one is via the corresponding branch line 18 to the Ent discharge line 19, the second via a Lei device 33 to the upper working chamber 6 of the associated pressure cylinder 4, the third via the corresponding branch line 16 to the Druckleitumg 13 and the lowest via a line 34, in which a brake valve 35 is arranged, connected to the lower working chamber 7 of the associated cylinder 4. Furthermore, the space of the cylinder bore of the housing 31 located above the end face of the control slide 32 is in connection with the leakage duct 22.
The uppermost control channel connected to the relief line 18 opens into its upper annular groove in every position of the control slide 32 and, through its longitudinal channel, is therefore constantly in open connection with the aforementioned inner annular space. The third control channel 16, which is closed to the pressure line 13, opens into its lower annular groove in each position of the slide.
If the slide is in the center position shown, the mouths of the second and lowest control channels, which are connected to the lines 33 and 34, are covered by the middle and lower sealing surface of the control slide 32, respectively.
When the latter assumes its uppermost end position, which is determined by a stop of the upper cover 36 of the housing, since it prevents movement beyond the end position, the second control channel opens into the lower annular groove of the control valve so that the Line 33 and the upper working rate 6 are in communication with the pressure line.
In this slide position, the mentioned ring rates also extends to the mouth of the lowest control channel, so that the line 34 coming from the space 7 atü the rear of the piston 5 communicates with the Entlastungslei device 19 via the longitudinal channel of the slide. However, a downward movement of the control slide 32, by a few tenths of a millimeter is sufficient to interrupt these connections, and both connections are interrupted simultaneously.
In its lowest end position, which is determined by the standing of a shoulder of the control slide 32 against a stop of the lower cover 37 of the valve housing, which prevents the slide from moving beyond its lower end position, the second control channel connected to the line 33 opens into the upper annular groove of the control slide 32 and through it is connected to the relief line 19,
while the lowermost control channel connected to the guide trough 34 is connected to the pressure line 13 via the lower annular groove of the slide. These two connections are also interrupted at the same time when the control slide moves upwards by a few tenths of a millimeter.
Each control slide 32 is fixedly connected to a rack 40 which is longitudinally displaceable on the stand 2 adjacent to the neighboring stand 2 via a means of a nut 38 adjustable in length ble rod. A shaft 41 is freely rotatably mounted on the press beam 3. This shaft carries at each end a toothed wheel 42 which engages the corresponding rack 40. On the spool 32 of one of the two control valves 17 there is also an arm 43 which is coupled via springs 44 to the Ge rod 30 which connects the levers 25 and 26 to the spool 29 of the main slide 15.
So if the control slide 29 pushed upwards ver by means of this lever, the slide 32 of the Erwähn th control valve 17 is pressed by a spring 44 upwards against the upper cover 36 of the control valve housing; If the slide 29 is upward by means of this lever, the other spring 44 pushes the control slide 32 against the lower housing cover 37.
With 45 attached to the various lines are vent screws, with 46 a pressure gauge connected via a line 47 to the pressure line 13 denotes.
The press described works as follows: In order to close the press, that is to say to press the press beam 3 against the table 1, the hand lever 25 or the foot lever 26 coupled to it is pressed down so that the slide 2 '9 of the main slide 15 is moved into its uppermost position and at the same time the control slide 32 of the one control valve 17 carrying the arm 43 is urged against the stop surface of the upper cover 36 of this valve by the lower of the two springs 44.
At the same time, the rack 40 connected to this control slide 32 moves upwards and causes a rotation of the gear 42 meshing with it and the coupling shaft 4l; the other gear 4l makes this rotation with and issued by means of the other rack 40, the control slide 32 of the other control slide 17, the same upward displacement as that of the first control slide. By adjusting the rods 39 by means of the nuts 38, it is ensured that both control levers 32 hit the contact surfaces of the housing cover 38 at the same time.
The liquid conveyed by the pump 11 now flows through the pressure line 13, the branch lines 16 and the control channels of the two control organs 17, the lower of the two annular grooves of each control slide 32 and the lines 33 in the upper working spaces 6 of the two Pressure cylinder 4. The two pistons 5 are thus pressed down and displace liquid from the lower working spaces 7 through the lines 34, the lower annular space of each control valve, the longitudinal channel of the corresponding control slide 32, the branch lines 18 and the relief line 19 in the container 13.
Here, the Rückclagv valve 27 is open and the connection of the pressure line 13 to the relief line 290 through the lower thief surface of the main valve slide 29 is interrupted. The two pistons 5 move the press beam 3 evenly downwards at both ends; the gear 42, which engages in the rack 40 of the control slide 32 held in its position by the lower spring 44 and the arm 43, rolls on this rack and gives the other gear -12 an equal rotation via the shaft -11, so that this also holds the other control member 32 in its upper end position.
However, this is only the case as long as both ends of the press beam 3 and the shaft 11 and thus see. move both gears 42 in a single mass downwards.
However, if, for example, the Pressg-Lit is only on the reelite half of the table 1, the right end of the press beam 3 is inhibited in its downward movement by its counterpressure when it hits the pressed material, and its left end precedes the right very little. The press beam 3 and with it the shaft 41 is therefore slightly crooked. Because of the unequal displacement of the ends of the press beam 3 and the shaft 41 can not see each of the two gears 42 turn by the angle that corresponds to its rolling on the associated toothed rod 40; this angle would be larger for the left gear than for the right.
As a result of their connection by the shaft 41 must see rather both gears uni the lead angle rotate, with accordingly the relative displacement of the two ends of the shaft either the left tooth rod 40 is shifted down or the right up. The latter is not possible, however, since the control slide 32, to which the right rack is connected, is already present on the valve housing cover 36. As a result, shifts the left rack 40 together with the control slide 32 connected to it while compressing the un tern spring 44 a little downwards.
Ne middle and the lower sealing surface of this control slide then close the control channels, which are connected via lines 33 and 34 with the upper working space 6 and the lower working space 7 of the associated cylinder 4, completely or partially, so that the corresponding liquid - power currents are interrupted or throttled. The corresponding piston 5 then stands still or moves more slowly downwards until the right end of the press beam 3 has caught up with its rick stand compared to the left.
According to this catching up, the toothed rack 40 and the control piston 32 of the control valve under consideration return to their upper end position with the lower spring 44 being released. Since this process repeats itself in the course of the downward movement of the press beam 3, as often as it turns out to be crooked, the beam moves practically parallel. Should the left end of the press beam 3 lag behind the right one during this downward movement, the other control element 17 is actuated in the manner described, but the internal spring 44 is not influenced.
To bring about the opening of the press, that is to say the lifting of the press beam 3, the hand lever 25 or the foot lever 26 is pulled upwards and thereby the main valve slide 29 is moved downwards. The upper sealing surface of this slide then blocks the control channel coming from the pressure line 13, so that this line is in turn blocked from the relief line 20 and the pressure of the liquid coming from the pump 11 keeps the check valve 27 open.
At the same time, the upper one of the springs 44 presses the two control slides 32 of the control members 17, which are coupled to one another via the shaft 41, downward until their stop surfaces are in contact with the lower covers 37 of the valve housings 31.
Then the lower of the two annular grooves of the control piston 32 of each control element 17 connects the control channel connected to the lower working chamber 7 of the associated cylinder 4 via the line 34 with the pressure line device 13, and the upper annular groove provides a connection between the upper working chamber 6 of the Cylinder via line 33 after the Ent load line 19 ago. The pressure of the liquid conveyed by the pump 11 then comes simultaneously in the lower work rooms 7 of the two cylinders. Piston 5 takes effect, pushes this evenly upwards and causes. like lifting the press beam 3.
If one end of the press beam is in advance, the control valve 32 of the control valve assigned to this end of the beam is activated by the described interaction of the shaft 41; the gears 42 and the racks 40 near the top shifted and so the inflow and outflow of liquid to or from the associated cylinder 4 is reduced or interrupted, the movement of the corresponding piston 5 thus slowed down or stopped. As a result, when the press beam 3 is raised, its precisely par allelic displacement is guaranteed.
When the levers 25 and 26 are in the center position shown, the slide 29 of the main slide 15 is also in the position shown in which its annular groove connects the coming from the pressure line 13 and the control channel leading to the relief line 20 ver. The pump-side part of the Drucklei device 13 is, thereby relieved, and the return check valve 27 is closed. At the same time, in this position, the springs 44 also hold the two control slides 32 of the control valves 17 in the central position.
The control channels for the lines 33 and 34 leading to the working spaces 6 and 7 of the cylinders are then blocked by the middle and lower sealing surfaces of the control slide 32, and the liquid in the working spaces 6 and 7 of the cylinders is enclosed. The pistons 5 and thus the press beam 3 thus remain in the position they are currently in.
