Lamp socket with at least two bottom spring contacts. The Egg invention relates to a lamp holder with at least two base spring contacts. This lamp socket can be and has a bayonet socket. a base plate that defines the space of the socket for the lamp base on the. The bottom ends and through which base plate the floor slab #: oiit.akte reach.
It is customary to design the bottom spring contacts as pin contacts, and it is also known to attach a base plate made of insulating material, which closes off the space of the socket on the underside to accommodate the lamp base; The base spring contacts fastened in the plate protrude through this base plate. The contacts and the plate are pressed resiliently in the direction of the lamp to be used.
Since the contacts are fastened here in the plate, the movement of one contact is influenced by that of another contact, so that the base plate can assume a very deep position and / or poor contact with the lamp can arise.
The aim of the present invention is to create a lamp socket in which particularly good contact is made possible and there is great freedom with regard to the type of springs used to press the contacts. According to the invention, the base plate, which can be moved along the axis of the socket, is included Provided openings through which the ground contacts are passed with play, the whole thing in such a way that the movement of the contacts outwards is limited by the base plate and the movement of the base plate outwards is limited by _DTocken in the socket.
According to an expedient embodiment, the ground contacts consist of the ends of metal strips which extend transversely through the socket. It may be desirable to have the ends pressed by means of screws and to arrange the strips themselves with a certain amount of space in the socket.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention is shown and it will be explained in more detail below.
FIG. 1 shows a cross section through a lamp holder according to the line I-I in FIG. 2 and above the base of a lamp to be inserted into the holder, and FIG. 2 shows a plan view of this holder.
The lamp socket has a housing 1 which is made from an insulating material, e.g. B. is pressed from a synthetic resin. Ceramic material can also be used. The lower part of the housing has the shape of an elongated can on which the zy-cylindrical bead 2 is placed in the middle. The latter encloses a cavity 3 in which the swan base of the lamp is inserted. On the inner wall of the jacket, cams 4 are provided, which interact with the pins 6 present on the Swan base 5 of a lamp. The socket shown is intended for a base with three pins 6 .
They slide through grooves 7 and are finally pressed into cavities 8 .
A base plate 10 delimiting the space 3 inwards or below is held by the contact strips 11 , two of which are present, against the underside 9 - which is pressed as a limit stop for the movement of the plate 10 against cams 4 serving outside. The contact strips 11 are in turn pressed against the plate 10 by each a spring 12, which springs 12 see against a closing plate 13 </ B>, which is fastened by means of two tubular rivets 14 in the housing 1 . The tubular rivets are hollow, so that viewing benches can be passed through them to fasten the lamp socket to a base plate.
The metal strips 11 do not need to be made of an elastic material, the width of the strips 11 and the height of the -bend- part 18 </ B > are chosen so that the strips are arranged in the housing with a little play and are therefore less subject to bending. The base plate 10 can move in the direction of the axis X-X of the mount.
The contact strips 11 have upwardly curved parts 15 which extend through two openings 16 in the base plate. These openings openings include the upwardly curved parts 15 -which form the bottom contacts of the mount, with such a clearance that these contacts move independently of one another in their clearance can. If, therefore, a lamp is inserted into the socket whose solder beads 17 on the underside of the base (only one of them is shown in the drawing) do not have the same height, the contact strips can fen 11 flex independently of each other.
The base plate 10 prevents the strips 11 from being pushed too far outwards (outwards) by the springs 12, and at the same time has the effect of forces acting transversely to the longitudinal direction of the strips are absorbed, which could result from the rotation of the lamp base or from the bottom contacts 15 sliding off the solder beads 17 .
The contact strips are bent over at the fastening end at 18 . Here you have an opening for a screw 19 which carries a nut 20. A conductor 21 can be clamped by tightening the screw. The screw 19 and -, the nut 20 are arranged captive in the housing 1 .
The two contact pieces 11 run tangentially to the partial circle of contacts 15, , which is dashed in FIG. 2, namely the upper one (in FIG. 2) to the left, the lower one nearer. right. This has the following purpose: When the lamp is inserted into the socket, see the contacts 15 shift according to an arc, the center of which is in the vicinity of the screws 19 . The openings in the base plate 10 will therefore not only move in the vertical direction, but also slightly in the horizontal direction. In the direction of the strips described, the base plate will perform a small rotation for this purpose.
The force resulting from the friction of the beads 1.7 on the contacts 15 is also transmitted in a favorable manner to the strips 11 .
