Fig. 2 zeigt denselben Mechanismus in einer andern Lage.
Machine for cutting sheet metal. The invention relates to a Ma sehine for cutting sheet metal, which is provided with two cutting tools working against one another, an upper and a lower knife, of which the movable cutting tool consists of a toggle lever with one on the machine frame and one on the Tool holder attached pivot pin is actuated, with the third, swing the pivot pin of the toggle a back and forth movement, z. B. by a connecting rod is granted.
In known machines of this type, the fixed point of the knee joint can be switched to two end positions, namely a working position where the tool elder moves in such a way that the two knives are relatively close to one another and an open position where the knives are be found at a greater distance from each other so that the workpiece can be freely inserted between the knives.
This changeover is carried out in a known manner by adjusting the immovable pin of the steering system, which is mounted eccentrically, whereby the said joint pin can be made to assume an upper uri-effective and a lower working position. With this arrangement, the stroke length can be in the working position of the tool holder cannot be changed.
When cutting different sheet metal and different material, it is desirable to be able to regulate the stroke length and the stroke number of the movable knife within certain limits. In a known machine of the specified type, in which the upper pivot pin is fixedly arranged in the machine frame, the control is carried out in that the size of the movement of the oscillating pivot pin varies on both sides of the plane passing through the two outer pivot pins becomes. The movement is set so that in one case the oscillating pivot pin oscillates symmetrically on both sides of the plane in question and in the other case mainly oscillates on one side of the plane in question.
It is assumed that the attacking connecting rod works on the common pin of the joints with an invariable amplitude and frequency. In the first case, a resulting knife movement with a small stroke and a certain frequency is achieved, in the second case a larger stroke of the knife with a frequency that is half the lower. The mentioned movement ratio has been brought about in previously known machines that the oscillating pivot pin of the toggle lever is actuated by a connecting rod, the other end point of which describes a circular path by means of a pin on an immovable shaft and changes its length in a suitable manner becomes.
The same effect has also been achieved in that the axis of rotation of the remote from the knee lever. The end of the connecting rod is brought into different distances from the plane running through the outer pivot pin of the toggle lever. In these two cases, special arrangements must be made on the connecting rod drive to enable the knife stroke length to be changed.
The present invention relates to a machine for cutting sheet metal with a simplified device for changing the stroke length and is characterized in that the pivot pin provided on the machine frame can be fixed in two positions that are laterally displaced with respect to the direction of movement of the tool holder, such as that the lower end position of the pivot pin of the tool holder is the same in both positions of the first-mentioned pivot pin.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention is shown.
Fig. 1 shows a schematic picture of the movement mechanism.
Fig. 2 shows the same mechanism in a different position.
3 and 4 show, in a front view and a longitudinal section, the mounting of the fixed pivot pin of the toggle lever.
On the stationary, uniformly rotating shaft 1 of the drive motor, a cure belscheibe with the center 1 and the radius B runs around. On the same there is a pin? On which a connecting rod L is articulated, which is connected to the oscillating Ge pivot point 3 'of the toggle lever 15, the point ö in operation, the end position 3, 4 occupies, which is approximately 2R from each other to find oneself. 5 denotes the upper, fixed hinge point of the toggle lever, while 6 denotes the lower, vertically guided hinge point in its lowest position, 7 in its uppermost position.
The pivot point 5 is on top of the machine frame, like. 3, 4 is set out later in the explanation of FIGS. 3, 4, while the pivot point 6 is arranged in the upper knife holder for driving the upper knife, it being guided vertically in the lower frame in such a way that the upper knife is is pushed. According to Fig. 1, the point of oscillation of the toggle lever moves in various distances from the vertical plane E through points 5 and 6, d. H. points 3, 4 are at different distances from this plane.
This results in a relatively long working stroke 6 to 7 and a very short additional return stroke 6 to 9 of the vertically moving tool holder, with the pin moving out of position '?' has moved to the position? ". The fixed hinge point 5 is eccentrically mounted and can thus be moved from position 5" to point 8 by rotating the corresponding bearing pin, the entire toggle lever being lifted so that the upper knife is in a greater distance from the corresponding stuck lower cutter (not shown). The upper knife works in this position of point 5 in the open, and the workpieces can be inserted between the upper and lower meter with the driven upper knife.
Fig. \? shows the fixed pivot point 5 switched to another position 5 ', which has been achieved by further rotation of the eccentrically arranged bearing pin. The positions 5 'and 5 "are laterally displaced with respect to the vertical direction of movement of the tool holder. The position 5' is adjusted here so that the lower end position 6 'of the movable outer hinge point 6 in both positions 5" and 5' of the fixed pivot point becomes the same. The fixed pivot point is simultaneously - in relation to the other, unchanged parts of the system compared to position 5 "or
8 laterally shifted, the plane between the outer points 5 'and 6' of the toggle lever being, for example, symmetrical to the outer layers 3 'and 4' of the oscillating hinge point 3, the latter positions practically speaking an unchanged position to plane E through 5 and 6 ' to have. As a result, a shorter working boy of the tool holder is achieved equal to the distance between points 6 'and 7'.
Compared to the case according to FIG. 1, the upper knife is moved at twice the stroke frequency by the N tool for each reciprocating Be movement of the connecting rod L, d. H. a movement of point 3 from 3 'to 4' and back from 4 'to 3', two full working strokes from T to 6 '. The lower knife is fixed in the frame, while the upper knife is driven by the knee lever.
As can be seen from Fig. 3 and 4, the fixed pivot pin 10, which forms the erwähn th articulation point 5, is provided with an operating lever 11 which is rotated in a groove 20 in your a bearing part 12 of the pin 10 around a pin 13 and can lock the pin in the desired position by folding it into one of three recesses 14 in the bearing housing of the pin, displaced by 90 angles. The pin 10 is. stored with the parts 12, 21 in the frame? 2. The upper toggle lever part 15 is rotatably mounted on 10. The number of fixed settings can be more than three.
For example, a working position can be arranged between layers 5 "and 8, whereby a certain change in the lower end position 6 'of the movable outer hinge point 6, ie the lowest position of the tool holder, can be achieved. The setting of the fixed hinge can be pin can also be done by means of a linear slide or the like. When the lever 11 is rotated, the axis of the pin 10 moves in a circle. The pin 10 can, however, be adjusted both laterally and vertically using the same switching device.
The advantage of the embodiment shown lies primarily in the fact that it simplifies the change in length to a high degree and enables the upper knife to be lifted and the stroke to be changed with the same hand lever. The changeover can also be carried out with a simple handle while the machine is in operation.
