Description
Lager aus Kunststoff und Verfahren zur Herstellung desselben. Es ist bekannt, Maschinenlager insbeson- < lere von Walzwerken und dergleichen aus Kunststoff, Kunstharzen und dergleichen her zustellen, die gegenüber Lagern aus Metall vielfache Vorteile bieten. Die Gleitfähigkeit der Lager aus Kunststoff wird durch übliche Schmiermittel oder beispielsweise bei Walz- inasehinen durch Wasser erzielt.
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verbesserung derartiger Lager aus Kunststoff und besteht darin, dass das Lager mindestens ein Gleit- inittelzusatz enthält. Das Verfahren zur Her stellung des Kunststofflagers zeichnet sieh dadurch aus, dass dem Kunststoff mindestens ein ("leitmittel zugesetzt wird. Vorzugsweise wird dem Kunststoff Graphit zugesetzt.
Es hat. sieh herausgestellt, da.ss nach einem derartigen Verfahren hergestellte Kunststoff- laz;er# eine besonders grosse Gleitfähigkeit und i Abriebfähigkeit besitzen und die Reibungs- verluste und der Kraftbedarf stark herabge- set7t werden. Ausser der hierdurch erzielten Ersparnis ergibt sieh der weitere Vorteil, dass besondere Gleitmittel wie Öl oder Wasser ent- hehrlieh werden.
Dieser Umstand ist namentlich bei solchen Maschinen und Vorrichtungen von grossem Vorteil, bei denen die Lagerstellen schwer zugänglich sind oder infolge unsachgemässer Behandlung das Schmieren in der Regel un terlassen wird, was vielfach für lanJwirt- sehaftliche oder hausw'irtsehaftliehe Maschi nen und Geräte zutrifft, bei denen infolge ungenügender Schmierung ein besonders grosser Verschleiss an den Lagerstellen ent steht.
Der Zusatz von Gleitmitteln wie Graphit zu dem Kunststoff erfolgt in geeigneten Men gen. Die Zeichnung stellt als eine Ausfüh- rungsform der Erfindung eine Schale eines Maschinenlagers dar.

It is known to manufacture machine bearings, in particular of rolling mills and the like, made of plastic, synthetic resins and the like, which offer many advantages over bearings made of metal. The sliding ability of the bearings made of plastic is achieved by means of conventional lubricants or, for example, in the case of roller bearings, by water.
The invention relates to an improvement of such bearings made of plastic and consists in the bearing containing at least one lubricant additive. The method for manufacturing the plastic bearing is characterized in that at least one ("conductive agent" is added to the plastic. Graphite is preferably added to the plastic.

It has been shown that plastic sheets produced by such a process have particularly good sliding properties and abrasion properties, and the friction losses and the power requirement are greatly reduced. In addition to the savings achieved in this way, there is the further advantage that special lubricants such as oil or water are not required.
This circumstance is particularly of great advantage in those machines and devices in which the bearing points are difficult to access or in which lubrication is generally neglected due to improper handling, which is often the case for agricultural or domestic machines and devices which, due to insufficient lubrication, cause particularly high wear at the bearing points.
Lubricants such as graphite are added to the plastic in suitable quantities. The drawing represents a shell of a machine bearing as an embodiment of the invention.
