Description

Device on an automatic winding machine for sucking off and cutting off a thread end.

The subject of the claim of the main patent is a device on an automatic winding machine for sucking off and separating a thread end from a bobbin, in which a thread end formed between the clamping point and the winding start of the bobbin is sucked off with an annular nozzle placed centrically around the bobbin head and cut off after suction has taken place .

In an example of this arrangement shown in the main patent, the means for severing are arranged within the ring nozzle. This example has the disadvantage that a re-sharpening of the means provided for cutting off the thread, e.g. A pair of scissors is hardly possible, so that a safe separation is not always guaranteed.

The present invention eliminates this disadvantage in that, in a device according to the patent claim of the main patent, the means for severing the sucked-off thread end are arranged outside the annular nozzle.

A pair of scissors is advantageously arranged for severing the thread end sucked off by the ring nozzle. In the exemplary embodiment characterized in dependent claim 3 of the main patent, the bobbin is forcibly ejected by means of an ejector after the thread has been sucked off. In such an embodiment, a slideway is expediently arranged outside the ring nozzle and under the scissors.

In the drawing, the invention is shown for example. Parts with the same effect have the same reference numbers as in the main patent.

Below the outer part 7 of the ring nozzle 8 listed in the main patent is a pair of scissors 20, 21, into which the thread end 2 sucked in by the ring nozzle 8 when the thread package 1 falls into the slide under the ring nozzle 8 and the scissors 20, 21 22 is introduced. The slide 22 has a stop 23 in order to temporarily prevent the yarn package 1 from falling down.

   The device works as follows:
After the thread end 2 has been sucked off by the annular nozzle 8 as described in the main patent, the sleeve head 3 is ejected by the ejector 12. The thread end 2 remains in the ring nozzle 8. The sleeve I with its sleeve head 3 falls into the slide 22 attached under the ring nozzle 8 up to the stop 23, so that the thread end 2 falls into the geofbiete scissors 20, 21 and shortly thereafter with it known means is separated. The thread end 2 is then sucked off through the annular nozzle 8.

The finished yarn package 1 is then released by means (not shown) which open the stop 23 in order to possibly fall into a bobbin case provided.

Instead of the arranged scissors 20, 21, other known means for cutting off the thread can of course also be provided, and the arrangement of the slide 22 can also be selected in a different form.
