Device for producing a textile material from at least two lengths of material which are glued together by means of an adhesive mass. The present invention relates to a device for producing a textile material from at least two lengths of material which are glued together by means of an adhesive mass.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that there is a calender on a table with two heatable rollers rolling on top of each other with adjustable pressure, that in front of this calender there are two rollers for receiving the material webs that are stuck together and pulled off by the calender rollers that two guide rolls allow the fabric webs to enter between the pair of calender rolls at an acute angle with respect to each other,
that in the space between the guide rollers at least one nozzle for the adhesive mass is adjustable in such a way that the mass can optionally be sprayed at different, acute angles onto one or the other of the material webs or onto both material webs - and that this nozzle is parallel to the rollers is arranged to be movable back and forth.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown in the accompanying drawing. It shows: FIG. 1 a side view or a longitudinal section and FIG. 2 a plan view of a supply device for producing laminated fabrics, partly in section along the line VV in Fig. 1.
The device shown has a table 19 on which two heatable calender rolls 8 and 9 in two bearings 20 and 21 fixed on the table are accommodated in such a way that they lie on top of one another - under the pressure of springs 23 adjustable by means of screws 22. A> heating plate 24 is attached to the table in front of the rollers, ... which, like the rollers, extends over the entire width of the table, which corresponds to the largest width of the fabric.
A second heating plate 25 is provided above the first-mentioned heating plate 24. The surfaces of these two heating plates are at an acute angle to one another in the area of the lower roller 8 and the upper roller 9. In front of the table there is a roller stand 26 , in its upper bearings 27 the one with the fabric web 11 wound roller 28 and in its lower bearing 29 the roller 30 wound with the fabric web 10 is rotatably mounted. Furthermore, two guide rollers 31 and 32 are rotatably mounted in this roller stand 26 .
A strip 33 be fastened between these two roller stands, on which a nozzle 34 is arranged to be movable back and forth. The movement of this nozzle can be done manually or mechanically. The mechanical drive has not been shown since such movement and drive devices are known per se. At the rear end of the table 19 two bearings 35 are attached, in which a material take-up roller 36 is rotatably mounted, which has a drive pulley 37 < / B> with which this roller can be set into drift.
The two heatable calender rolls 8 and 9 are also provided with drive means which, like the drives of the take-up roll 36, are not shown .
The two webs of fabric 10 and 11 are transferred from rollers 28 and 30 over guide rollers 31 and < B> 32 pulled through the calender rolls 8 and 9 at an acute angle to each other and then onto the take-up roll 36 together wound up.
The nozzle 34 is adjustable in its distance from the fabric web and in its angular position to the fabric webs, as the two arrows 38 and 39 in Fig. 1 </ B> indicate without there being any limitation to the size of the adjustability. The spray liquid is fed into the nozzle 34 through a hose 40. The lower web of fabric 10 runs over a heating plate 24, and the upper web of fabric 25 runs on the underside of a heating plate B> 25 over. Both heating plates can be put into operation individually and heated to almost 400 C .
According to FIG. 1, it is assumed that the lower fabric web 10 is a thick, possibly also woolly fabric, while the upper fabric web 11 is a relatively thin one Substance is accepted, e.g. B. a smooth mass-produced goods made of rayon or fully synthetic fibers. In this case, the nozzle 34 is directed in such a way that the spray cone 5 whose particles have considerable kinetic energy only impinges on the lower web of material 10 , specifically in the area of FIG Heating plate 24. In the spray cone 5 , the sprayed adhesive mass, z.
B. a rubber solution or rubber dispersion, at an acute angle on the surface of the fabric web 10 whereby the spray parts penetrate between the thread crossings of the fabric without having the opportunity to use their own kinetic energy to knock through the fabric. The spray cone 5 is surrounded by a mist zone 6 which only wets the surface of the fabric webs with spray particles that do not show any kinetic energy.
In the impact zone of the spray cone 5 , the adhesive mass is preheated to approximately 4011 C by the heating plate 24 for the purpose of pre-coagulating the applied mass, while in the zone where the Fog zone 6 hits the fabric web, no coagulation is caused and is desired, so that the misted fine particles can be deposited on the surface of the fabric web. Vulcanization of the adhesive mass then takes place between the calender rolls 8 and 9 .
If both fabric webs are to be sprayed with adhesive, it is not advisable to straighten the nozzle 34 so that the spray cone 5 hits both fabric webs. In this case the use of double nozzles 14 and 15 and associated heating plates 17 and 18 will be necessary. Spraying at the angle can only take place if either only the lower or only the upper web of material is to lie in the spray cone. So it will not happen that in this case both heating plates are heated.
These two heating plates are only provided in the event that the lower web of fabric 10 and in another case only the upper web of fabric 11 should be hit by the spray bar. Of course, a spray gun can also be placed on the bar 33, which serves as a nozzle rail, which dispenses the liquid under the pressure of a gaseous medium, e.g. B. air, sprayed. The spraying can also take place under the liquid's own pressure. In any case, it must be ensured that no coagulation takes place inside the spray nozzle.
The required kinetic energy can also be applied electrostatically to the mass to be sprayed.
The applied mass can, depending on the purpose to be fulfilled by the laminated material, only form a network between the two lengths of textile material or a film with water- and / or air-permeable openings or a fully closed film In any case, the mass clings to the individual threads of the lengths of fabric or just one length of fabric and sticks together all or a large part of the thread crossings.
If necessary, several spray nozzles can be used, one behind the other or in front of one another, performing the necessary lateral movement. This movement of several. Nozzles will be necessary if a relatively thick rubber film is required, but the property of the substance or substances does not allow such a high spray speed that the material surface passing by receives the desired amount of spray in the unit of time.
Of course, two textile fabrics of different weave and / or fabrics that differ from one another due to the thread material can be caseharmed. In the case of goods laminated from two lengths of fabric, it can be advantageous to duplicate two types of bonds and / or lengths of fabric made of different thread materials.
With certain pieces of clothing, e.g. B, swimsuits, despite the water permeability, it is advantageous to treat the rubber-elastic, porous-laminated fabric in its textile parts with water-repellent agents on both sides or only on one length of fabric in order to prevent the water from penetrating the fibers and thus drying the To facilitate clothing accessories.
Treatment with water-repellent agents also has the advantage that, when impregnated before the rubber is applied or mass developed on a rubber basis, this mass does not penetrate the mesh openings, but remains on the surface of the fabric and only afterwards the energy used during application clasps the individual thread parts, d. h. with each lower pressure the mass mist is applied to the fabric surface during spraying, the more it settles on the surface.
The stronger this pressure is, the more the mist particles penetrate the fabric, but are in any case forced out of the mesh openings, so that the formation of a network of the rubber film by impregnation with water-repellent agents is promoted and the porosity of the fabric is not destroyed.
If, without the help of impregnation with water-repellent agents, the maintenance of the fabric porosity is obtained by the above-described tip-angle spraying alone or by the rubber film applied between the fabrics in the sense of older proposed methods for the manufacture of rubber-porous laminated fabrics . is generated by stretching, the impregnation with rubber-repellent agents can also be carried out after lamination. Depending on the purpose of the fabric, both lengths of fabric can be impregnated or just one.
When using different types of camouflages or fiber materials for the two lengths of material to be concealed, it has proven to be advantageous to manufacture one of the two lengths of material from fully synthetic fibers or acetate fibers. This is advantageous, especially for fabrics of such clothing Pieces that fit closely to the body, so that the length of fabric made from fully synthetic fibers or acetate rayon lies close to the body on the inside of the garment and, thanks to its own smoothness, makes it much easier to put on and take off the garment take that uncomfortable,
does not result in a scratchy feeling, as is the case with fabrics made of wool or with a wool-like character.
As a binding agent, which can also serve as an elasticity strengthener and sealant, the latiees of the various known types of rubber can be used or also certain mixtures thereof, also the like mixtures with such agents that depend on the vulcanization process Speed up or slow down as needed.
In addition to natural latex, the aqueous dispersions, for example of artificial (synthetic) KaLitsch-Ldi: can be used, such as those commercially available under the brands Buna S, Perbunan and Neoprene . It is superfluous to go into the nature of the various advantages of the various types of rubbers when used in the device.
Fabrics in which the lengths of fabric are glued together using an adhesive developed on a rubber basis are known. It has also become known to make the rubber layer porous, namely by allowing the laminated material to run between needle rollers after gluing the rubber film and thereby providing it with holes.
Quite apart from the fact that this treatment easily leads to the destruction of the textile outer fabrics, with this mechanical treatment of the rubber film it can never be achieved that the fabric is once water and air permeable and the other time only air permeable without the properties and The qualities of the laminated textile materials suffer disadvantages.
Another suggestion, according to which a d-tirel-i mechanical treatment 1-Lm- with fine holes provided rubber film is glued between the fabric sheets to be doubled, causes liner-desired structural changes in the fabrics. Furthermore, it is impossible to adjust the position of the holes in the rubber film to those in the textile materials.
It should only be mentioned, for example, that when using elastic, doubled or laminated fabrics for bathing suits, it is necessary to give this fabric, in addition to its high elasticity, elasticity that does not change in water or due to the effects of water and weather, and that it is permeable to water and air of the textile materials, which are advantageously worked as knitted fabrics, not to be changed.
The same applies, albeit for different reasons, to the use of such highly elastic-laminated fabrics for the production of corsets, bodices and therapeutic garments, e.g. B. Krampladern stockings. If, on the other hand, the laminated or doubled fabric, regardless of whether it is stretchable or elastic or not, is impermeable to water, but hift-permeable porous, z.
B. in protective clothing against rain, then the rubber or rubber-based adhesive is not only an elasticity booster, but to a certain extent also a loosening agent.
With the device shown, laminated fabrics can optionally be produced which either receive increased elasticity within the scope of their own elasticity due to the adhesive mass without losing the water and air permeability inherent to the fabric webs, or which are water and / or become air permeable, the adhesive mass acting as an elasticity booster.
The angular position and the amount of energy; with which the rubber solution or rubber particles must rest on the fabric depends on various properties of the fabric to be wetted, namely on the type of bond, the other time on the type of thread material and also on the thickness of the fabric. A thin material of the simplest binding, e.g. B. as woven fabric with a customary plain weave, the other time as knitted fabric, in the weave of ordinary smooth goods, requires a less intensive spraying and a different acute angle in the spray direction than a thick woven fabric or a thick knitted fabric with a tangled type of weave.
Also the thread size and the thread material influence the energy and the angle of the spray.
In the production of porous-elastic encased fabrics, which are characterized by the fact that rubber or synthetic rubber in liquid form is applied to one sheet of fabric as a narrow, shop-like strip, whereupon the second sheet of fabric is placed and the two sheets of fabric with the interposed ones , rubber strips in the shape of a cylinder are vulcanized by heating and connected to each other,
When applying the thread-like gamma-ray strips, the procedure is advantageous in such a way that the rubber solution is pressed through one or more additional nozzles that are guided back and forth across and / or along the length of the material web via the receiving web. If the rubber threads are only placed across the fabric, the nozzles move back and forth across the fabric, while these are moved in their longitudinal direction -below the nozzles by transport rollers who the -which is the rubber-covered web and the second one Feed the length of fabric to the point where the vulcanization is done by the action of heat.
If thread-like adhesive strips are to be laid in the longitudinal direction in addition or alone, then one row of nozzles arranged transversely to the length of fabric moving in the longitudinal direction is sufficient. Nozzles have the spacing of the shop-shaped, longitudinal rubber strips. The rubber solution can be pressed out of the nozzles, for example, by means of compressed air, which is advantageously mixed with ammonia gas or other stabilizing agents in order to prevent the rubber solution from coagulating prematurely.
The green thread can also be used in combination with the previously described spraying using a rubber solution or dispersion.
In order to ensure the adhesion of the two lengths of fabric, it is advisable to slightly roughen or sand one of the two lengths of fabric or both lengths of fabric. The fine fiber pile resulting from the roughening or grinding is intended firstly to ensure that, in particular with very thin fabrics, the sprayed mass does not strike through the fabric, and secondly to prevent the. Rubber compound to anchor better in the fabric panels.
The fiber pile must be so thin that there is no thickening of the fabric web and that also the applied, z. B. sprayed rubber particles not only get caught in the fiber flor, but also penetrate the surface of the web and up to a certain extent, without penetrating conditions, can penetrate into this.
Tests have shown that at a certain level of fiber pile density, the rubber particles are prevented from penetrating through the fabric, but they can penetrate the surface of the fabric to such an extent that the rubber film is not only in the pile, but also in the Basic material itself is anchored.
The fiber pile thus serves as a grid, which reduces the penetration force of the sprayed-on rubber parts to the desired extent at the moment of impact on the fabric surface.
Penetration of the Guinmil solution or dispersion can also be prevented by treating the substance that is sprayed under pressure with a water-repellent agent. This type of grating of the fabric can be done in combination with the above-mentioned roughening or grinding.
A particularly advantageous combination is to laminate or double a length of fabric made from fully synthetic thread with one made from rayon thread.
A particularly advantageous and hoclielastic product can be produced if at least one of the two doubled lengths of fabric is partially made from rubber threads.
