Fig. 2 einen Schnitt nach der Linie B-C-D-E 1f' <I>von</I> Fig.1.

Clock with indirectly driven minute hand. The present. Invention relates. focus on a C1ir with indirect. driven index hand. This means that the element carrying the minute hand and moving with it does not.
is included in the gears that transmit the force of the mainspring from the barrel to the escape wheel.
lit the known constructions riding in direct. With a driven minute hand, the water sits on a toothed minute tube. This toothing is f-e-wöhtilicli cut directly onto your minute tube, and the resulting shoot has a comparatively small diameter.
In these constructions, this small drive is driven by a comparatively large wheel that sits on the barrel shaft.
The Naeli part of such constructions be. in the fact that the game of the minute tube, which is provided with a small drive, is great in the interlocking of the large change wheel and can cause minute hand adjustments of more than one minute.
It has already been proposed to eliminate this play by means of a spring arranged between the minute tube and the work plate. But there is always a certain dead movement of the minute tube in relation to the element driving it, and this dead movement makes it impossible to set the clock accurately.
The aim of this invention is to build a clock with an indirectly driven minute hand in which the play of the minute hand is so reduced that it is no longer noticeable. This clock according to the invention is characterized in that an indirect minute wheel seated on the miniature tube is driven by an element of the gear train.
Since the usual pinion cut on the minute tube has been replaced by a wheel with a larger diameter than that of the pinion, the play of the minute hands is reduced. The amount of play between two clock wheels is known to be always the same, and consequently the corresponding angle of rotation of a wheel depends solely on its diameter.
Furthermore, the inventive construction enables the second wheel of the engine to be stored in the middle of the clock in order to provide the clock with a directly driven seconds hand, that is to say with one on an element. of the said wheels factory seated second hand.
Three exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing, namely Fig.1 shows the top view of the work of he most embodiment of the dial side,
FIG. 2 shows a section along the line B-C-D-E 1f '<I> from </I> FIG. FIG. 3 shows a section of the second embodiment, analogous to FIG. 2, and FIG. 4 shows a similar section of the third embodiment.
In the example according to Fig.l and '? receives. the internal drive 3, which is mounted eccentrically in the movement in the work plate 1 and bridge 2, provides the driving force from the gear rim of the barrel 4. The minute wheel 5 riveted onto the minute drive engages in the drive 6 of the small bottom wheel 7. The latter has meshing with the seconds stored in the center of the drive 5.
The secondary wheel q engages the armature wheel drive, not shown here. The end of the secondary shaft on the dial side is guided through a tube 10 and supported at its end. The tube 10 is fitted into the work plate 1 with a press fit, but could also screwed in or made from one piece with the work plate or fastened in some other way. The tube 10 carries the minute tube 11 on the dial side, freely rotatable, as usual.
The teeth 15 of the minute tube are in engagement with. the N4'eehsel wheel 13. The indirect minute wheel 14 is fitted onto your minute tube with plenty of friction and engages in the small third wheel drive 6. The number of teeth on this gear is chosen so that the minute tube can be used one full hour. The coupling between wheel 14 and minute tube 71 is such that the minute tube and thus the pointer mechanism are safely carried along during normal operation of the clock.
When setting the pointer, however, the minute tube can be used. some frictional resistance while the indirect minute wheel is stationary.
The indirect minute wheel 14 is placed on the minute tube in such a way that it is located at the height between the work plate and the change wheel. But it could also be attached at the height between Weehselrad 13 and hour wheel 12, as Filg.3 shows for example.
The position above your hour wheel, seen from the dial side, is also possible (Fig. 4). Fig. 4 shows the hour wheel 1'_ 'freely rotatable on the tube 10 an @. The linear tube 17 with the @ laraüt' @, eprel:

rin such urge with rich friction; Of course, the first two forms could also be used on the pinion shaft.
The drive which mediates the movement of the wheel 14 could also be mounted on an auxiliary shaft and from another element. of the gear train than from the small third wheel.
The described drive of the Minutenzei gers could also be used with a gate part in a clock without a second hand. In this case, the tube 10 would be replaced by a cylindrical pin.
