Method for drying agricultural products, in particular green fodder, in a pneumatic dryer and device for carrying out the method. The subject matter of the invention is a method for drying agricultural products, in particular green fodder, in a pneumatic dryer and a device for performing the method.
Pneumatic circulating dryers are already known for drying agricultural products, in particular forage such as clover, t'ras, alfalfa, beet leaves or the like. These consist of a drying tube through which hot gases are sucked in at such a high speed that they carry away the material to be treated which is thrown into the air flow and dry on the way to the lathe separator.
In front of the material separator there is a '#', iehtvori # iehtuiif-, which has the task of separating out the still gi @ obstüekige and not sufficiently dried material.
The latter arrives via a return line in a splitting device and from here, after new moist surfaces have been exposed, again into the dryer.
The sieve repeats this cycle from the dryer to the viewer, to the splitting device and back to the dryer, until the product has undergone such a great reduction in weight as a result of the comminution and evaporation of water; is no longer excreted and ends up in the finished goods separator.
It is already known that the material can be fed into the dryer using a rotating pipe. Even though one has already thought of carrying out a slight pre-drying by passing heating gases through this pipe, the rotating feed device mainly served to loosen the material immediately before it was centrifuged into the pneumatic dryer.
Due to the fact that the materia.lstroni in the material that is circling through the pneumatic dryer are always good parts whose drying is already well advanced, the dryer must also do so. Heating gas temperatures are operated which prevent these good parts from overdrying. This upper limit temperature application results in the difficulty of obtaining an end product that has dried down to the final water content required for storage (optimal drying effect).
Practical tests have shown that this optimal drying effect can easily be achieved in the pneumatic air dryer if the rotating tube used to feed the goods into the pneumatic dryer is chosen to be so large and operated with such high-temperature heating gases that at least 500/9 of the total amount of water to be evaporated from the material is evaporated here.
Example: The wet material has an initial water content of 80%. The residual water content of the finished product should be 101 / o. In this case, a total of 350 kg of water must be evaporated per 100 kg of finished product. According to the invention, at least half, equal to 175 kg of water should be evaporated in the rotating pre-dryer.
The device according to the invention for carrying out the method is shown in the drawing in an exemplary embodiment. The method according to the invention is also explained, for example, using the same. 1 is a combustion system. The Exhaustor z sucks the heating gases from the furnace through the nozzle 3, which is also the material infeed chute 1 is provided. The hot gases then pass through the rotating pipe 5 (drying drum) into the pneumatic dryer 6.
The fresh food given up through the chute 1 wanders through. first also the drying drum, which is designed so large and operated with such a high heating gas temperature that at least 5011 / o of the water to be evaporated from the material to be treated is evaporated.
The material, which has largely been pre-dried in this way, is fed to the pneumatic dryer 6 by the rotating drying drum 5 with simultaneous, constant loosening. The material first falls out of the drying drum into the housing 7, in which the rotating centrifuge 8 is arranged. The pneumatic dryer 6 is connected tangentially to the housing 7. It is advisable to extend the hood of the housing 7 by a sheet metal 9 at the bottom.
The material thrown into the pneumatic dryer 6 is then carried in the flow of heating gas through the pneumatic dryer. In the separator 10 there is a separation of the dry matter, ie. 1i. still wet. from the fine-grained, d. H. dry well, instead. The former is knocked down and got. Via the return line 11 again into the (housing 7.
Further fragmentation of the goods will be. new moist Guts surfaces exposed. This umlaut of the goods is continued until the material has been adequately shredded and has thus received the necessary degree of protection. The ready-dried material is separated in (lein ready-made glass separator 1 ?.
In order to achieve the required pre-drying effect with certainty zii in the pre-arranged rotating drying drum 5, the drying drum is equipped with a trickle system, e.g. B. in such a way that the inner drum walls with. Lifting shovels or the like devices are provided that take the material lying on the drum base and let abrie seln in free fall through the drum cross-section.
In addition, it is expedient to attach a storage device at the end of the rotating drum, which makes it possible to slow down the passage of the material to be treated through the drum. If necessary, it is advisable to set up the storage device so that it can be adjusted so that the processing time of the material to be treated through the rotating pre-dryer can be adjusted as desired. Thereby,
that the drying drum is connected on the material inlet side finite to the furnace and on the material outlet side with the pneumatic dryer, the hot gases required for the overall drying must first be the rotating ones. Flow through the pre-dryer. This results in a particularly high level of pre-drying., Effect.
