Schmiermittelverteilapparat.
Lubricant dispenser. The invention relates to a lubricant distribution apparatus with a lubricant container and a drive device for manual or mechanical actuation, whereby a number of pistons in cylinders which are arranged around a central drive element are moved back and forth.
Known apparatus of this type have the disadvantage that material detached from wear and tear can fall freely into the lubricant container and is mixed with the lubricant, after which the known destructive accompanying circumstances occur.
In order to remedy this disadvantage, an impermeable wall is arranged between tween the drive device and the lubricant reservoir. As a result, all of the chips produced by wear can be caught on the partition, so that they are prevented from mixing with the lubricant.
An embodiment of the lubricant distribution apparatus according to the invention is according to. described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 is a front view with parts shown partly in section.
FIG. 2 is a side view with parts also shown partly in section, corresponding to the line II-II in FIG. 1.
The lubricant pump 1 shown in the figures is driven in a known manner by the worm shaft 15, which in turn catches a rotary movement from the drive members of the machine to be lubricated and transmits this via the worm 16 and the worm wheel 17 to the drive shaft 18, whereby a number of pistons in cylinders, which are arranged in a circle around the shaft 18, moved back and forth by a zentra len drive member who the. The lubricant pump 1 is assembled with the housing part 2 for the drive device 15-18, which can be covered at the top with a dust cover 3. The bottom 4 of this housing part 2 is fully constantly closed.
A plate 5, which serves as a partition, is tightly connected to the bottom 4 by means of screws 6. This plate 5, when it is removed, makes it possible to access the parts of the drive device. Below the housing part, the lubricant container 7 is fastened ben 8 by means of screws. The tube 9 runs transversely through the bottom 4. Through this, the lubricant is pumped out of the container 7. Likewise, the tube 10, through which the container 7 can be filled with lubricant, is arranged to run through the bottom 4. The tube 10 has a removable cover 11 at its upper end.
A sight glass 13 is installed in a side wall 12 of the container 7 in order to control the lubricant level. At the bottom end of this side wall is. an opening with a tenon screw 14 for emptying the container is also provided. In order to keep iron filings in the housing part 2 caused by wear of the drive device, the plate 5 is made at least partially magne table.
