ehse 1 seit lieh versetzt..
Viewfinder coupled with a range finder for photographic and cinematographic cameras. For ease of use, photographic and cinematographic devices are provided with a dual-lens viewer that is optically coupled to the range finder so that the distance required for selective image reproduction can also be set at the same time as the camera is aligned with the subject.
If cameras of this type are provided with interchangeable lenses of different focal lengths, a different image field limitation in the viewfinder is necessary, depending on the lenses used.
In known cameras with interchangeable lenses, the delimitation of the image field was preset by changing the image section in the viewfinder or by markings on the glass support of the viewfinder mask. The first-mentioned version requires special facilities to adapt the lens setting to the lens used. In the other known version, the markings act within the viewfinder mask when looking through the viewfinder right. annoying, which is especially important when using a large number of interchangeable lenses with focal lengths that fluctuate within wide limits.
The subject matter of the invention is characterized in that in front of a lens attached to the viewfinder mask at a fixed distance in the direction of view of the viewfinder, a unit consisting of two lenses with an unchangeable distance from one another is arranged axially displaceably.
This enables the optical system for changing the image section to be accommodated in accordance with the focal lengths of the taking lenses in the normal space provided for the viewfinder. With the axially displaceable lens unit, a change in the magnification scale can be achieved within wide limits. The devices required in the known cameras for adapting the viewfinder section to the lens used in each case do not apply to the viewfinder according to the invention, without the viewfinder throughput being disturbed by markings for the various image sections.
Embodiments of the viewfinder according to the invention are shown schematically in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows the basic structure of the viewfinder and Fig. 2 shows a particularly advantageous embodiment for cameras with lens lenses of 16 to 75 mm focal length. In Fig. 3, the arrangement of the measuring mirror for the Ent rangefinder in the beam path of the viewfinder is illustrated ..
In Figs. 1 to 3 is. The viewfinder axis 1 is indicated by dash-dotted lines, which serves as the optical axis of the lens system. The viewfinder mask 2 with the image section 3 is shown on the left in FIGS. 1 and 2. The lens 4 is arranged at a fixed distance from the viewfinder mask 2. Between this lens and the in the camera wall 5 located union port 6 is a unit consisting of the lenses 7 and 8.
The lenses 7 and 8 are arranged in a fixed position from each other and can be moved together in the axial direction between the lens 4 and the through-sight opening 6. The fixed connection between the lenses 7 and 8 is indicated in FIGS. 1 and 2 by the rigid connecting link 9, which can be adjusted on a fixed guide 10 in the directions indicated by the arrow:
When using a telescope finder, the lenses 7 and 8 can be mounted, for example, in a tube which is arranged within the telescope to be axially displaceable. By shifting the lens assembly 7 and 8, only the size of the image section to be viewed changes, but not in accordance with the respective taking lens used. the mask size. No markings of the image section on the glass support 3 of the finder mask 2 are therefore required.
The space available for moving the lens assembly 7! 8 in a normal photographic camera is sufficient to carry with. With the help of the axial displacement, a change in the magnification ratio of 1: 4.7 can be achieved. This corresponds to a focal length of 16 to 75 mm for the photo lenses.
When using a highly opened individual lens 7 in the displaceable lens system, considerable distortion errors can occur. This can be avoided by using a double lens 7a / 70 instead of a single lens (FIG. 1), as shown in FIG.
The total focal length for the viewfinder is depending on the distance from the lens 4 of ider viewfinder mask 2 between -3.5 and -1.25 dptr. Since in general a focal length of about -1 to -2 dptr for the telescope finder. is to be provided, a correction element must be added to the viewfinder for the smaller focal lengths, which has a focal length of approximately. -; - 1.25 dptr. Has.
This correction lens is arranged between the lens 8 and the viewing opening 6 and is denoted by 11 in FIG. It is arranged pivotably in front of the viewing opening 6, so that it can be pivoted out of the beam path of the viewfinder when using taking lenses with a large focal length.
It is expedient to assign a plan window 12 to the pivoting device, which instead of the correction lens 11 at. their pivoting out of the beam path of the viewfinder is switched on.
For the parallax compensation of the viewfinder, its mask 2/3 is pushed ver together with the lens 4 in the direction of the lens. The equipment required for this is known per se, so that a representation and description of the same can be delayed.
In Fig. 3 is. the optical coupling of the viewfinder with the range finder is shown schematically. The fixed one. Measuring mirror 13 is arranged between the lens 4 and the finder mask 2 in the manner shown in FIG. 3.
With; Consideration. is on the parallax shift. the axis 14 of the lless field by a small amount (about 1.5 mm) compared to the searcher:
ehse 1 since borrowed offset .. This parallel shift of the measuring field axis 14 relative to the viewfinder axis 1 is necessary in order to avoid excessive migration of the measuring field into a corner of the viewer mask 2/3 during the parallax shift. The stationary measuring mirror 13 is expediently as a partially transparent glass plate with. a partially lacquered gold layer applied to their upper layer.
This is. both a direct view in the direction of the viewfinder axis, as well as a beam deflection of the pivotable measuring prism. 15 coming beam guaranteed. The beam path through the viewfinder and the prism of the Ent rangefinder can be seen in Fig. 3 from the solid lines provided with double arrows.
One could, of course, also proceed the other way round, that is, arrange the prism in a fixed position and make the mirror movable.
