Shock absorbing bearing. The present invention relates to a shock-absorbing bearing, mainly for a timepiece.
This bearing is characterized by the fact that the counter-pivot has a truncated conical inner seat bearing on a central base projecting from the bottom of the bearing support so as to ensure the centering of the counter-pivot, said seat being. in addition in contact with the pad freely placed on said base, which ensures the centering of the latter.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1. is an axial section through a bearing for a pendulum, in the rest position.
The fi-. 2 is also an axial section of the bearing, in which the shaft has moved radially under the influence of an impact, and the fi-. 3 is a plan view of the bearing. The bearing shown comprises a support 1 driven into the cock 2 and serving to hold the racket 3. This support has an interior recess 4 in which is housed the counter-pivot consisting of a stone 5 surrounded by a bezel 6. This stone is held in place by a leaf spring 7 hooking into an annular groove 8 made in the support 1.
The kitten 6 has a conical trunnion inner seat 9 resting on the upper circular edge 10 of a base projecting it at the center of the bottom 1b of the support 1, which ensures the centering of the counter-pivot stone 5 and its chaton 6. The pierced stone, designated by 11, rests on the base 1a. It is also in contact with the frustoconical seat 9 of the kitten 6, which also ensures its centering.
When the shaft 12 is impacted, in particular during radial impacts, it moves laterally and. drives the pierced stone which slides on the base 1a .. The pierced stone itself moves the kitten. 6 which tilts slightly (see fig. 2). The spring 7, acting on the stone 5, brings the various elements of the bearing into place.
In the example shown, the side face of the base 1a is. cylindrical and it is with a circular edge of this base that the seat 9 of the kitten 6 is in contact. However, this lateral face could also be frustoconical, the opening of the cone being the same as that of the kitten.
