Fig. 1 die Vorrichtung im Vertikal-und
Fig. 2 dieselbe im Horizontalschnitt, wäh- rend

Method and device for the continuous extraction of soluble components from solid raw materials.
Extraction apparatuses have become known in which the extraction material filled into several movable containers is treated with solvent using the countercurrent principle. wherein the containers for the raw material are introduced at one end of a closed horizon ta) en chamber and removed at the other end and filled, extracted and emptied within said chamber.
As a variant, it was proposed to move the containers containing the raw material in two columns through a closed chamber, one downwards and the other upwards, while the solvent is moved in countercurrent through one column and in cocurrent through the other column The container is filled and emptied within the chamber.
The invention now relates to a method for the continuous extraction of soluble components from solid raw materials with the aid of a solvent, which is characterized in that the raw material is filled into cells which are moved along a horizontal, circular path and that the contents of the cells is extracted successively with solutions of gradually decreasing gel content of dissolved substances, in such a way that fresh solvent is continuously supplied at one point and the solutions flowing out of the cells at the bottom are supplied to the subsequent cell,
while the extracted Ciut is removed from the cells after the treatment with fresh solvent and these are then filled again with new material and the accumulated solution obtained during the treatment of the fresh material is removed.
The invention also relates to a device for carrying out this method, which is characterized by a plurality of cells movable along a horizontal, circular path, each of which is provided with an articulated filter base, with a device for successive filling of the cells the raw material to be extracted, a supply line for fresh solvent, a collecting vessel for the solution flowing off from each cell, a line for conveying the collected solution to the next cell, a rail running above the collecting vessels to support the filter base sliding over it,
which is interrupted at the point of the circular path intended for emptying the cells, a chute arranged at the end of the path through which the cells run during the extraction process for emptying the extracted material, which indicates that the solutions in opposite directions during operation Direction to the direction of movement of the cells.
The cells are preferably formed by a cylindrical container which is subdivided by radial partition walls and which is attached to a rotating shaft, the said collecting vessels being expediently arranged in a circle around this drive shaft below the cells. The solutions in the collecting vessels can be sprayed by means of pumps over the material in the subsequent cells, after which they seep through the mentioned filter bottoms into the collecting vessels under them.
A drainage channel can be attached below each filter base, which serves to collect the solution from the extraction cell in question and to guide it into the collecting vessel located below it.
The method according to the invention is to be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, which illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention. It shows :
Fig. 1 shows the device in the vertical and
2 shows the same in horizontal section, while
Fig. 3 shows a detail of the filter base with drainage channel in a sectional view.
The extraction device has a housing 1 through which the drive shaft 3, which rests in the bearings 4 and 5 shown schematically, passes.
The extraction vessel is fastened to the drive shaft and consists of an outer wall 8, an inner wall 9 and radially arranged partition walls 10, the latter dividing the vessel into cells with the same capacity, which are denoted by RI to R8. Each cell is provided with a filter base I ?, a drainage channel 14 and rollers 15, each filter base being fastened to the radial partition 10 in the manner of a hinge.
Below the cells there are six sector-shaped collecting vessels, which are labeled T1 to T6 in the drawing, as well as a drain tank D.
The collecting vessels carry two rails 17, a. which the rollers 15 move.
The solvent is fed from a reservoir to a spray tube S1. The collecting vessels T1 to 7'6 are provided with outlets O1 to 06, O1 to 05 being connected to pumps P1 to P5, which the
Deliver solutions to spray lances S2 to 86. 06 is the drain for the concentrated looseness, which is then freed from it in a vaporized apparatus.
Underneath the cell labeled R8 there is an emptying pipe 20, above which the rails 17 are interrupted. The Noekenarm and the counterweight 23 are provided in order to control the lowering of the filter base with the drainage channel of the extraction cell located at the emptying point.
A filling device 25 in the housing is used to fill the extraction cell in position F1 with raw material.
During operation, the material to be extracted is filled into the container R1 below the filling device 25, while the cell R8 is in the emptying position. The ext. Reaction vessel rotates slowly in the direction of the arrows.
During the rotation, the material is successively treated with solvent in countercurrent, with the solution moving in a direction opposite to the material.
The solvent] is fed from a reservoir through the spray tube S1 into the cell R6 and the resulting solution is collected in the collecting vessel T1, from whose outlet 01 the solution is conveyed by the pump P1 into the spray tube S2, etc.
The enriched solution from the spray tube S6 then comes into contact with the cell Rl filled with hair, the contents of which contain the highest content of substance to be extracted, since it has never been treated with solvent.
After the solution has flowed through the contents of the cell R1, it is collected in the vessel 1'6 and fed through the line 06 to an evaporation system, not shown, in which the extracted substance is collected and the solvent evaporates and condensation in the Process is returned.
The drain tank D is used to receive the solution that drips off the oil after the oil has passed the spray tube S1 and before it is emptied. The little solution from D is usually also passed to Tl and from here conveyed by pump P1 via R5.
When the rollers 15 located on the drainage channel of each cell reach the end of the rails 17, the entire filter base device lowers, whereby the material located in the extraction cell in question falls into the chute.
The filter base device closes automatically as soon as rollers 15 come into contact with the beginning of the rails 17, so that the filter base of the relevant cell e is closed when it reaches the filling position.
Upon emptying the chute 20, the residue is correspondingly freed from the absorbed solvent, which is then returned to the reservoir.
One of the special features of the construction is the filter base with a drainage channel. All of the solution that passes through the filter base 12 is collected in the drainage channel 14 and is emptied along the rear edge of this drainage channel.
In this way, the majority of the solution running through the filter base is directed into the collecting vessel located below the spray tube from which the solution was supplied to the material, although the extraction cell itself may already be located above the next collecting vessel .
Automatic devices for filling the cells can be connected to the drive device of the apparatus in such a way that the cells are filled with a correct eye.
In the apparatus described, the cells are in constant motion on their horizontal path. If raw materials with a high content of the substance to be extracted are to be treated, it may be advantageous to construct the apparatus in such a way that the movement of the cells can be interrupted.
In this case, the material in the cells is treated with solvent, which drains into the collecting vessels below. As soon as most of the solvent used has drained off, the cells are brought under the next spray tube. In this case, there is no need to attach the drainage channels.
