Circular saw with guides on both sides of the saw blade. The invention relates to a circular saw with guides on both sides of the saw blade. It has. when sawing through bodies of large dimensions, e.g. For example, thick metal bars have shown that thin saw blades do not work satisfactorily. A thin saw blade starts to flutter when sawing strong bars; Uneven cuts and grooves on the cut surface are the result. Thick saw blades, on the other hand, result in a lot of waste, which is particularly important when thick bars have to be cut into many short pieces. So z. B. when dismantling bars in 10 mm thick Sehei ben when using a saw blade of 4 mm thickness of the waste to 40%.
The invention is intended to enable the use of thin saw blades even in the aforementioned work by reliably preventing the same from flapping at the job site. This cannot be achieved simply by letting the saw blade run through in a known manner between guides which encompass it on both sides of the work site without pressure. This prevents fluttering in the guide, but outside of the same, i.e. precisely at the work site, the saw blade will still flutter under high loads.
According to the invention, therefore, the saw blade is so tightly clamped in the immediate vicinity of the job between the guides that fluttering at the job is prevented.
An exemplary embodiment of the saw blade arrangement according to the invention is described below with reference to the drawing. 1 shows a longitudinal section and FIG. 2 shows a view in the direction of arrow II in FIG. 1.
The saw blade 1 is clamped on its drive shaft 2 between the band sleeve 3 and the nut 4. The band sleeve 3 is secured against rotation on the shaft 2 by the recessed fla chen wedge 21, but is fixed axially displaceably. The shaft 2 is mounted in the bearing 5 of the machine frame 6 and is driven, for example by an electric motor. The bearing has a slight longitudinal play s. With the Maschi nengestell 6 a guide disc 7 is rigid. connected. This is with an annular lining 8 made of sliding material, for. B. white metal, provided. At the edge, the disk has 7 coupling claws 9. A second guide disk 11 is pushed onto the end 10 of the shaft 2 standing in front of it.
It also has an annular lining 12 made of sliding material and at the edge coupling claws 13 which engage between the claws 9 of the guide disk 7 and prevent the disk 11 from rotating with the saw blade. Only at the place of work between A and B are both guide disks with their linings provided with the same cutouts 14 (FIG. 2) in order to be able to bring the workpiece 15. The spring 17 acts on the disk 11 via the longitudinal ball bearing 16 and is supported on the spring plate 18 which is held by the nut 19, which itself sits on the thread 20 at the end 10 of the shaft.
The guide washers are lubricated on the linings in a manner not shown so that the saw blade is not braked.
By tightening the screw 19, the tension of the. Spring 17 is set so that the guide disk 11 presses the saw blade 1 against the guide disk 7 with a pressure that prevents the exposed part of the saw blade in cut 14 from fluttering and deflecting. The saw blade then forms, to a certain extent, a rod clamped between 1i and B and is thus stiffened across the exposed surface. Game of the shaft 2 in the bearing 3 enables the saw blade to adjust to the linings 12 and 8 after it has been clamped and jamming occurs. avoid the.
The guide discs 7 and 11 to close the saw blade up to the work place on its entire circumference and thus simultaneously form a protective device.
To prevent the saw blade from fluttering at work, it may be sufficient if it is clamped between the guide washers 7 and 11 only at one point, i.e. only in front of the work site (at A) or behind the work site (at B).
