In der Zeichnung ist ein Verfahren zum Formen von Näpfen gemäss der, Erfindung beispielsweise dargestellt, und zwar zeigt: Fig.l eine schaubildliche Ansicht einer von einem Metallstreifen abgeschnittenen, (juadratischen Platine, Fig.2 eine schaubildliche Ansicht einer Vorrichtung zum Verformen der quadrati schen in eine achteckige Platte, wobei die Pressbacken sieh in Ausgangsstellung befin den, Fi;
Method for making bowls. The invention relates to a method for producing bowls, in particular those which are then to be drawn out into long sleeves of various shapes.
According to the invention, what is new is that an n-sided blank is cut off, where n is an integer greater than 2, that this n-sided blank is reshaped into a 2n-sided blank of the same thickness, and that this 2n- side board is pulled into a bowl.
In the drawing, a method for forming bowls according to the invention is shown, for example, namely shows: Fig.l is a perspective view of a cut from a metal strip (juadratischen plate, Fig.2 a perspective view of a device for deforming the quadrati rule in an octagonal plate, the pressing jaws being in the starting position, Fi;
-. 3 a diagrammatic view of the same arrangement, with the press jaws being in their foremost position, FIG. 4 a diagrammatic view of the octagonal plate, FIG. 5 a diagrammatic view of a device for flattening the cup rim, FIG. 6 a a diagrammatic view of a bowl before the flattening process, FIG. 7 a diagrammatic view of a:
Cup after the flattening process. The same parts in the various Figures are given the same reference numerals.
In Fig. 1 a cut from a Metallstrei fen 2, square circuit board 1 is shown, the sides of which are equal to the width of the metal strip. Fig. 2 shows the quadra tables board 1 between four jaws 3 with pressure surfaces 31, the width of which corresponds to that of the boards. The pressure jaws are still in their starting position. Their printing surfaces are arranged at an angle of 45 to the sides of the square plates. The jaws are actuated by four toggle systems, which have toggle arms 4 and 5.
Two toggle lever systems have been omitted for the sake of clarity. The stamp 6 shown in its highest position has a diameter that is larger than the diagonal of the square blank and is used to hold the blank down on the base plate during the pressing process.
In Fig. 3 the pressure jaws 3 are advanced into their foremost position, the punch 6 holding the board 7 on the base plate. As in FIG. 2, for the sake of clarity, only two toggle lever systems are drawn, this time with the interest rate extended. The pressure surfaces 31 of the jaws 3 move inwardly below the punch 6. and flatten the four corners of the board. The square plate according to FIG. 3 is thus reshaped into an octagonal shape.
In Fig. 4, the octagonal plate is shown after the flattening process.
5 shows how the octagonal plate is shaped into a bowl by being pressed through a drawing ring 8 by means of a punch 9. At the end of this process, the cup remains in the cylindrical extension of the draw ring, the cup only resting on a plunger 10 which remains at rest during the subsequent deformation process. While this pressure stamp remains in its position, see an annular stamp 12 down on the edge of the cup and flatten the crown-like uvula that have formed during the molding of the cup.
On the left-hand side of FIG. 5, the left half of the ring-shaped punch is shown in its I-opening position. Below this stamp 12, the corresponding half of the cup shows clear spikes. On the right side, the right half of the ring-shaped stamp is shown in its lowest position, in which the flattening of the crown-like prongs has already ended, as the flat edge of the right half of the cup shows.
FIG. 6 shows the bowl 11 and clearly shows the eight crown-like prongs formed on the edge. Wall and floor thickness are essentially the same.
7 shows the cup 13 after the prongs have flattened through the annular punch 12. This cup can now be pulled or the walls can be stretched. The waste that occurs during the subsequent operations is essentially limited to the usual cutting off of the upper edge of the finished sleeve.
