Revolverbohrkopf an Vertikalbohrmaschinen.
Turret drilling head on vertical drilling machines. The present invention is a turret drill head on vertical drilling machines, through which an accelerated tool change can be achieved sel.
The turret boring head is fastened directly to the drilling spindle by means of a carrier for a turret drum and a switching device for the same and has several tool holders that can be coupled to the carrier one after the other, with tel to ensure precise concentricity of the coupled tool holder are seen. The change can only be made by raising and lowering the drilling spindle. the tool holder can be effected.
In the drawing, a turret drill head on a vertical drilling machine is shown as an example embodiment of the invention.
In the tool holder cone of the Bohrspin del 1, the carrier 2 of the drill head is be fastened. Bushings 27 and 28, in which the carrier 2 is rotatably mounted by means of its cylindrical front part, are pressed into the housing 3 of the drill head, which is mounted on the carrier 2 and is secured against rotation by a rod 9. On a Zap fen the housing 3, the turret drum 4 is rotatably mounted. In the turret drum 4 several displaceable in its longitudinal axis face tool holder 5 are arranged, which ge common internal cones for receiving tools, eg. B. the drill 6 own. The tool holders 5 each have two grooves 10 which open into cutouts 8. These recesses 8 each have a left-hand and a right-hand helical flank 9.
The two grooves 10 and the cutouts from 8 are arranged diametrically opposite one another on the tool holder 5. In two diametrical bores of the Trägervor derteils there are displaceable balls 7, the position of which can be varied by actuating the sliding sleeve 11 arranged between the sleeves 27 and 28 on the carrier 2. A standing under the action of the compression spring 17, axially displaceable switching rod 18 engages a pin 14 of the lever 13 mounted on the housing 3. At the other end of the lever 13, a slider 12 is mounted, which sleeve 11 engages in a groove of the sliding. On the lever arm in engagement with the shift rod there is also a ball handle 15 for manual operation of the lever.
In the housing 3, the beater drum 16 is rotatably mounted concentrically to the shift rod 18, the stop screws 22, in the number of tool holder 5 has the same number. On the beater drum 16 has above, the number of sehlag screws 22 accordingly, tooth gaps. In these tooth gaps, a contact piece 19, which has only one of the tooth gap shape adapted claw tooth, can be brought into engagement successively. The switching piece 19 is movably mounted on the switching rod 18. A pin 20, which is in engagement with a groove 21 of the switching rod 18, is firmly pressed into the switching piece 19.
The groove 21 runs in the upper part parallel to the longitudinal axis of the shift rod 18 and then bends off to a helical lower part. The carrier 2 has a conical receiving bore for the tool holder 5. This cone is not designed to be self-locking. At the work tool holders 5, a handle ring 26 rotatable on them is arranged.
The operation of the Revolverbohrkop fes in connection with the drilling machine is as follows: In the drawing, the turret drill head is shown with a tool holder coupled to the carrier and there with the spindle 1, before the tool change begins, the drilling spindle rotating. If the drilling spindle 1 is lifted and thus also the turret drill head, the fixed, z. B. Ge from the drill spindle guide formed stop 25 a walking along the switching rod 18. This causes the switching rod 18 in the housing 3 is pushed relatively down. This displacement of the switching rod 18 has the consequence that the switching piece 19 and thus also the stop drum 16 is switched by a tooth gap pitch due to the helical part of the groove 21.
At the same time, the switching rod 18 actuates the lever 13 via the pin 14, which in turn moves the sliding sleeve 11 upward through the slider 12 until the conical part thereof is above the balls 7. As a result, the balls 7 rotating with the spindle can give way to the outside under the effect of centrifugal force so that they no longer grip into the recesses 8 of the tool holder 5. The coupling of the tool holder 5 with the carrier 2 is thus released, and the tool holder 5 falls under the influence of its own weight from the conical receiving bore of the carrier 2. The tool holder 5 can only fall down until its collar on the revolver drum 4 touches.
If the drilling spindle 1 is raised even further, another switching rod 23 is axially displaced by the fixed stop 25 in the housing 3. A ratchet mechanism, not shown, operates only in one direction of rotation through this switching rod, so that its switching wheel, which has the same number of teeth as the tool holder 5 in the turret head, is rotated by a tooth pitch and accordingly also the Revolver drum 4 is switched further so that another tool holder 5 is brought into axial alignment with the carrier 2.
If the drilling spindle 1 is lowered, the switching rod 23 first returns to its starting position under the compression spring 24 acting on the rod, which was tensioned during the previously described movement of the rod. Then return under the action of the pressure spring 17 interacting with the sound rod 18, the switching rod 18, the switching piece 19, the lever 13, the sliding sleeve 11 and the balls 7 in their starting positions from back, with the tooth of the switching piece 19 on the Shift drum slides back without turning it.
The balls 7 now protrude back into the conical receiving bore of the carrier 2. When the drilling spindle 1 is lowered further, the tool (> on the workpiece to be machined) that is now in alignment with the carrier 2 finally stands. The drilling spindle 1, however, moves further down so that the upper end of the now fixed work tool holder 5 is pushed into the conical receptacle hole of the carrier 2, the protruding balls 7 first with the grooves 7.0 and then with the recesses 8 in a handle, and thereby the tool holder 5 is driven.
Due to the resistance acting on the tool at the beginning of the work of the tool 6, the tool holder 5 is rotated in the carrier 2 opposite to the direction of rotation of the drilling spindle 1 until the corresponding helical flanks 9 of the recesses 8 on the balls 7 run up.
The very smooth flanks 9 work in the association. the Kiig-eln 7 like a thread, so that under the action of the working torque generated by the tool 6 acting on the tool 6, the tool cold 5 is coupled rigidly and precisely rotating with the carrier 2. Once the desired working depth has been reached in the workpiece, the drilling spindle 1 is raised and, as described above, a new tool change follows, whereupon the turret drill head is ready for another operation.
The coupling of a tool holder 5 with the turret drill head raised with the spindle 1 with the carrier 2 can be done by pressing the tool holder 5 upwards by hand on the handle ring 26, the tool holder 5 being pushed into the conical receiving bore of the Trä gers' and the Balls 7 successively with the grooves 10 and the Aussparun conditions 8 are brought into engagement. Another way to couple a tool holder 5 to the carrier 2 without actuating the drill spindle is that the ball handle 15 is pressed down by hand, whereby the sliding sleeve 11 is the. Balls 7 the way to the outside is free.
Then the desired tool holder 5 is introduced by hand into the conical receiving hole of the carrier 2 and the Ku gel handle 1.5 released, whereby the sliding sleeve 11 returns to its starting position and the balls 7 are pressed into the recesses 8. Of course, by manually operating the ball handle 15, the tool holder 5 can also be disconnected from the carrier 2. In order to simplify the described turret boring head, the drilling spindle 1 and the carrier 2, which is designed as a drive piece according to the drawing voltage, consist of a single piece.
The carrier 2, the two balls 7 and the sliding sleeve 11 bil the one. simple quick-change chuck to which any number of tool holders 5 can be assigned.
