Fig. 3 schliesslich zeigt wieder einen wärme leitenden Körper in Plattenform.
Thermally conductive body. The subject of the present invention is a thermally conductive body, which is characterized in that it contains a web of aluminum threads and the spaces between the aluminum threads are at least partially filled with a binder.
Concrete or plaster of paris can be used as a binding agent. In the latter case, it has proven to be expedient to design the heat-conducting body in the form of a plate and possibly to provide it with at least one reinforcement lying in a plane of the plate. The reinforcement can consist of at least one grid-shaped perforated aluminum sheet or of interwoven aluminum wire. In a particularly advantageous embodiment, a layer of the web is arranged on both sides of the reinforcement.
In the drawing, three exemplary embodiments are shown in section, namely: FIG. 1 shows a first, FIG. 2 a second and FIG. 3 a third embodiment. In the embodiment of FIG. 1 be available, the thermally conductive body made of a plasterboard, which is provided with the exception of the under most layer 2 more or less regularly with a web 1 of aluminum threads.
The aluminum threads can be longer or shorter and thicker or thinner in cross section and represent a coalescing, deformable structure, similar to the known steel chips or steel wool used for cleaning purposes. The lowest 'layer is a pure plaster layer 2 and is used to apply the plaster to the ceiling when the panels are used in connection with ceiling heating. The manufacture of these plates is done in such a way that the Ge spinst is inserted into a flat mold and pulled out of each other according to the dimensions of the mold, whereupon the mold is filled with plaster 3.
The panel produced in this way can be sawn into smaller panels at will. Such panels are advantageously attached below the pipe system of ceiling heating. Apart from the possibility of providing the plaster of paris on the underside of these panels with a thin layer of plastering gypsum, which at the same time serves to fill the separating joints between the panels in order to obtain an adhesive, uniform ceiling surface, tests have shown that these panels have a very significant thermal conductivity. It is assumed that this thermal conductivity is due to the fact that these aluminum wires oxidize within the plaster,
whereby the thermal conductivity of the aluminum is known to be increased. Above all, however, it is essential that the arrangement of the web ensures that the heat is practically completely evenly distributed within the body.
In Fig. 2 an embodiment is shown in which 1 concrete 4 is used as a binder for the web. In the illustrated embodiment, the thermally conductive body is used in connection with a floor heating. On a concrete floor 5, a heat insulating layer 6 of any known material is placed over which the heating pipe system 7 is attached. The spaces between these tubes 7 and the space above half of these tubes up to a height of about 5 cm is filled with the web 1 of aluminum threads and then poured the concrete 4 to the desired height. With 8 is. the floor covering indicated.
Here, too, it has been shown that in the extremely simple and inexpensive manner described, an increased heat-conducting effect compared to known arrangements and an extremely regular heat distribution can be achieved.
Finally, FIG. 3 again shows a thermally conductive body in plate form. The plate shown, which is mainly intended for fastening under the heating pipe of a ceiling heating system, has a central reinforcement 9 made of a grid-shaped perforated aluminum sheet, which is arranged in a plane of the plate. A web according to FIG. 1 is arranged on both sides of the reinforcement 9, which two webs, together with the reinforcement, are held in their position by a single plaster cast.
One end of the plate forms a support 10, the opposite end a shoulder 11, so that when plates of this type are arranged side by side, the support 10 of the next plate always rests on the shoulder 11 of the previous plate. With 12 Be the fastening means for attaching the plate to the tubular grate, such as a ceiling heater, are attached.
The reinforcement could also consist of braided aluminum wire or some other suitable perforated aluminum construction. Apart from the already mentioned relatively good thermal conductivity, the cheap cost price and the simple manufacturing method. The main advantage of the heat-conducting bodies explained is that the heat is practically completely evenly distributed over the entire body or the entire plate.
