Thread tensioning device, especially for slip frames. The invention relates to a thread-tensioning device with at least one spring-acting thread-guiding element which is movable with respect to a fixed thread-guiding element and through which a thread passed through the device is deflected from its straight line, and consists in the combination of the following features:
a) A plurality of movable thread guiding org aasen is arranged on a rotatably mounted carrier on opposite sides and at equal radial distances from the carrier axis of rotation; b) The spring acting on the carrier of these thread guides is spatially arranged in relation to the carrier axis of rotation so that if the carrier changes its position as a result of an increase in the thread tension, the resulting increase in the spring tensioning force is counteracted by reducing the effective lever arm on the carrier that the torque exerted by the spring on the carrier remains at most the same.
In a known thread tension device with movable thread guide elements under the action of a spring, the weights of the two movable thread guide elements are not in equilibrium with respect to an axis of rotation and therefore counteract the goal of keeping the torque exerted by the spring constant. This known embodiment is also limited to only two movable thread guide members, the movement of which is coupled to one another by a cumbersome toothed gear mechanism that takes up a lot of space. The device according to the invention is intended to achieve a high level of accuracy and sensitivity in the thread tension.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. 1 shows an elevation in section along line A-B in FIG. 2, FIG. 2 is a plan view in section along line C-D in FIG. 1.
The holder 1 made of plastic injection molding to be fastened to the frame of a slip gate carries two glued-in guide eyelets 3 made of porcelain and the inlet 4 and outlet 5 also made of porcelain for the thread 6 with respect to the axis of rotation 2 made of metal on the right and left Carrier 1 rotatable axis 2 sits a plastic carrier 8 with right and left equally distant from the axis of rotation 2 porcelain eyelet pairs 9, 10 and 11. This carrier 8 is in equilibrium in relation to its axis of rotation 2, since the ideal axis of rotation is the center of gravity of the carrier 8 cuts. The axis of rotation 2 is therefore attached to the sleeve 18, which also rigidly connects the two eyelets 11 to one another.
By means of a spring 20 articulated at 19 on the carrier 8, which is attached to the carrier 1 at 21, a force acts on the carrier 8, which forces it into

The aim is to bring the position shown in FIG. 1, so that the thread 6 guided through the device is deflected from its straight line in the form shown, namely more strongly at 9 than at 10 and more at 10 than at 11.
If the tension of the thread 6 increases, it will endeavor to bring the movable eyelets 9, 10, 11 into alignment with the fixed eyelets 3, 4, a ', the braking of the thread no longer needing to be so strong, which also as a result of a reduction in the extent of the deflection of the thread at its guide points and thus also the friction actually occurs, with the torque exerted by the spring 20 on the carrier 8 remaining at most the same or even smaller, despite an increase in tension of the spring, because the effective lever arm on the carrier 8 is reduced accordingly or considerably more.
The arm 16 made of plastic is riveted to the carrier 1 on the left at? 3, but it could also be riveted on the right.
The porcelain eyelets 3, 4, 5, 9, 10 and 11 are easily exchangeable in the carriers 1 and 8.
