Stoppuhr.
Auf beiliegender Zeichnung ist ein Ausfüh rungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes ver grössert und schematisch dargestellt. Es zeigt: Fig. 1 die Rückansicht des Stoppuhrmecha- nismus bei gestopptem Sekundenzeiger;
Stopwatch. (The subject matter of the invention is a stop watch, for example a wrist or pocket watch, which is characterized by a pivotable main lever that can be operated from outside the watch case,
which, when actuated, on the one hand disconnects the drive connection between the running gear and the central second wheel and, on the other hand, at the same time returns the second hand to the 0 position and automatically steps back when it is released, whereby it can be locked in an intermediate position in which it cancels the Drive connection. maintains, while in the end position, the automatic Her position enables the drive connection.
The stopwatch corresponding to the invention differs from known stopwatches in principle in that it manages without a ratchet wheel and rocker arrangement or without a reset heart to stop and reset the pointer. This enables a simpler construction without impairment of a full working method.
On the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is enlarged and shown schematically. It shows: FIG. 1 the rear view of the stopwatch mechanism with the second hand stopped;
FIG. 2 shows the position of the parts when the second hand is released, and FIG. 3 shows the position of the parts at the moment when the second hand is reset to its starting position; FIG. 4 shows a section of the work along section line A-B in FIG. 3.
In the figures is about the second wheel of the clock, which is located on a backward lengthened second shaft of the drive in front of the board p lying lowing drive of the usual type. This second wheel a is in engagement with a transmission gear-b: which is mounted on a resilient arm c, which at one end with. a screw is attached to the ring frame q. With d the so-called Zen tralsek undenrad is called, on the axis of which the second hand reaching almost to the edge of the dial is placed on the front of the clock (not shown).
The resilient arm c seeks to keep the transmission wheel b in engagement with the central second wheel d, in which position the latter is being driven.
The disengagement of the] wheel b ent against the spring force of the arm i is effected by the main control lever cg pivoted by means of the screw f on the ring frame cq. This lever g is under the pressure of a spring o held on the ring frame q; which tries to pivot it counterclockwise according to the drawing.
The lever g has a protruding arm r which, with a bend with an arcuate edge s and a straight end piece t, forms a catch angle for a pin e mounted eccentrically on the central seconds wheel d when the lever g. and the second wheel d in Pig. 3 take the position shown,
which corresponds to the 0 position of the second hand. The pivotable Hauptbedie voltage lever g also has a circular segment ic on which a nose l of the arm c runs when the lever cg is pivoted, whereby this arm c is pivoted so that it engages the gears b and d cancels. However, this engagement takes place when the segment u assumes the position shown in FIG. 2 by the action of the spring o, in which it releases the arm c so that its end comes to rest against the stop screw.
The arm r of the main lever g has a detent h into which the free end of a white direct lever i can fall when it is operated. This lever i is rotatably mounted at the screw k and is under the pressure of a spring iz, these parts also being carried by the ring frame q.
The operation of the device described before is as follows: In the position of the parts shown in Fig. 2, the second hand runs do. To stop, pressure is exerted on the pressure pin v of the latching lever i in the direction of the arrow w . The pin v is accessible from the outer edge of the watch through a push-button (not shown).
The lever i jumps into the notch h of the free lever arm r and is locked there by the lever g by the action of the spring o. The circle segment u acts on the nose 1 and pushes the arm c back, so that the transmission wheel b disengages from the central second wheel d, which stops the second hand. The elapsed time can be read in peace. This position is shown in Fig. 1 represents.
The second hand is reset to o by pressing the pressure pin x in the direction of the arrow y. This pressure pin x is also accessible from the edge of the clock by a push-button (not shown).
The main lever g swings into the position shown in FIG. 3, whereby on the one hand the locking lever i is released again and on the other hand the pin c attached eccentrically on the central second wheel is gripped at the catch angle of the lever arm 7- and into the position shown in FIG drawn position, which corresponds to the 0-position of the second hand.
If you now press the pressure pin v and release the pressure pin x, then it starts. the lever i is in the notch h, whereby the lever cg can no longer fall back completely under the action of the spring, that is. is locked in the position of FIG. The nose 1 initially remains on the circle segment ic and does not yet allow the transmission wheel b to come into driving engagement with the Zentralsekim- den wheel d.
With the drive switched off, the seconds hand is therefore at rest in its 0 - that is to say the starting position.
To start the second hand to start a new time measurement, briefly press the push-button x. As a result, the lever i snaps out of the notch h in the lever arm r. The main lever g then moves when it is released the pressure of the spring o completely in its rest position. The nose 1 slides from the circle segment u and the rotating transmission wheel b comes into engagement with the Zentralsekimdenrad and drives this and thus the second hand.
As the figures show, the new facility described is structurally extremely simple. Their parts can be seen, combined into a structural unit, on the ring frame q shown in the figures and can thus possibly even be attached to a more or less normal pocket or wrist watch movement. The individual parts can of course also be carried by the plate of such a clockwork. But it is no longer necessary to build these parts with their actuators as before more or less organically in a clockwork, which increases the price.
