Cloth that can be used for sieving, bags, etc.
The present invention relates to a cloth that can be used for sieving, bags, etc.
A sieve cloth or bag should have a certain number of desirable properties, including a uniform mesh size that should be retained during use, good wear resistance, durability and the property not to be clogged by the substance. It is known, sieve or. Bags made of wire in plain weave and body weave and silk in plain weave and leno weave to be used.
In the British patent or. 546075 it is proposed to produce a bag from a thermoplastic thread, index yin or several continuous single-fiber threads in plain weave are woven and the sliding of the threads over one another is prevented by thermal welding of the warp and eye threads at the crossing points.
In American Patent No. 2297729, the manufacture of a screen from flexible spaced-apart strands of single threads of a synthetic, non-metallic, resinous material was also proposed in which the strands are resiliently engaged with one another.
The American patent No. 2355635 also proposed the production of an open-mesh, nail-yielding screen from a synthetic, linear polvamid condensation product, which in the warp and in the weft has strands made of single threads with fixed waves in the individual strands, the waves alternating at obtuse angles and are in complementary engagement with one another at the points of intersection of the strands and the corrugations arranged between them are remote from the points of intersection.
The aim of the present invention is to provide a sieve or. To create pouches in which the openings are and remain even.
The inventive cloth that can be used for sieving, bags, etc. consists of single-fiber threads made of synthetic fiber-forming material in a 2 X 2 mat weave and has a weight in g per cm2, which corresponds to the product of the specific weight of the synthetic fiber-forming material and a weight between 17.5 and 44 is the number lying, and a cover factor which is at least approximately the same for the warp direction and the visual direction and lies between the limit values 250 and 450 on.
The cover factor is the product of the number of single-fiber threads per em in the fabric in question (Y) multiplied by the square root of the quotient of the denier number (D) and the spec. Weight S of the synthetic fiber-forming material.
The cover factor is thus
EMI1.1
The single-fiber threads made of synthetic fiber-forming material preferably consist of a synthetic, linear polyamide produced in accordance with British patents 461236 and 461237, e.g. B. the polyamide from hexamethylenediamine and Adi pin acid. One can also use single-fiber threads made of other synthetic fiber-forming materials, for example single-fiber threads made of a resin obtainable by copolymerization of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate, single-fiber threads made of a resin obtainable by copolymerization of vinyl chloride and acrylonitrile, single-fiber threads made of polyacrylonitrile or single-fiber threads from the polyester obtained from ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid.
In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of the cloth according to the invention is shown on an enlarged scale. The warp threads 1, 2 are interwoven with weft threads 3, 4 in a 2 X 2 mat weave. The warp and weft threads consist of single-fiber threads of 15 denier made of the polyamide obtained from hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid. The cloth is woven with 93 warp threads per cm and 92.5 picks per cm, so that 46.5 openings per cm in the direction of the warp and 46.25 openings per cm in the direction of the weft are obtained. The weight of the fabric is 35.0 g per cm 2.
The cover factor is in the direction of the chain
EMI2.1
and in the direction of the shot
EMI2.2
The cloth shown has openings 5 of good uniformity. It is not necessary to attach the warp threads and the weft threads to each other at the crossing points, since the warp threads 1, 2 and the weft threads 3, 4 return to the initial state during use after the individual threads have been deformed, so that the uniformity of the openings 5 is retained.
The cloths formed according to the present invention can be used for bagging, sieving and sifting. Materials or used for textile stencil printing or other types of stencil printing.
The fabrics according to the invention have a number of advantages over silk and wire mesh fabrics, including good uniformity of the openings, the property of maintaining the uniformity of the openings during use, the property of returning uniform openings after the individual threads have been deformed form, durability and good wear resistance, no clogging by the substance to be sieved, better sifting and smooth, easy work when using the cloth for printing purposes.
The following examples serve to explain the present invention.
