Dispositif pour réaliser une photographie dite animée visible de l'extérieur du coffret d'une boîte à musique contenant les éléments constitutifs de cette photographie. La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif pour réaliser une photographie dite animée visible de l'extérieur du coffret d'une boîte à musique contenant les éléments cons titutifs de cette photographie. Les éléments constitutifs de cette photographie dite ani mée sont la photographie elle-même et un panneau ou réseau, muni de raies parallèles entre elles, la photographie et le réseau étant superposés, translucides et. éclairés du côté du réseau, le déplacement. de l'un par rap port à l'autre dans une direction perpen diculaire auxdites lignes créant l'animation de la photographie.
Le dessin représente, schématiquement et à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution et des variantes du dispositif faisant l'objet de l'invention.

Les fig. 3, 5, 7, 9 et 10 sont des vues par tielles en élévation de cinq variantes de dé tail; les fig. 4, 6 et 8 sont des vues en. plan des variantes représentées dans les fig. 3, 5 et 7.
1 désigne le coffret de la boîte à musique et 2 son couvercle amovible au moyen de bou tons 3 et 4. 5 désigne le barillet du méca nisme dont 6 désigne la clé de remontage. 7 désigne le cylindre de ladite boîte, dont les pointes périphériques ne sont pas représen tées, monté sur un arbre 8 actionné par le. barillet 5, et dont 9, 10 et 11 désignent. les paliers. 12 désigne le clavier.
13 désigne une roue dentée d'angle, mon tée sur l'arbre 8, et engrenant avec une autre roue dentée d'angle 1.4 de même diamètre, montée sur un arbre 15 auquel les pièces 11 et 16 servent de palier, d'axe perpendicu laire au plan desdits éléments constitutifs qui sont la plaque photographique 1.7 et le réseau 18, superposés l'un à l'autre et tous deux translucides. La plaque 17 est logée de façon amovible dans l'épaisseur de lattes 19 et 20 fixées par leurs extrémités aux parois lon gitudinales du coffret 1. 21 désigne une ou verture pratiquée dans le couvercle 2 de la boîte en dessus des éléments 17 et 18.
4 l'extrémité libre de l'arbre 15 est mon tée une came 22 contre le pourtour de laquelle un piton 23 solidaire du réseau 18 est main tenu appuyé par un ressort tendu 24 accro- ehé, d'autre part, à la paroi du coffret en 25.
26 désigne une lampe électrique, montée en dessous de la plaque 17, et alimentée en courant électrique par une pile sèche 27 par l'intermédiaire d'un commutateur rotatif 28 manoeuvrable de l'extérieur du coffret au moyen d'un bouton 29. Sur ce commutateur est montée une tige 30 terminée par une par tie 31 recourbée vers le haut de la fig. 1, engagée, pendant la période de repos du mé- canisme, dans un trou 32 pratiqué dans un disque 33 fixé sur un manchon Ô4 solidaire de l'arbre 1:5.
Voici comment fonctionne le dispositif dé crit et représenté: Le ressort du mécanisme étant remonté au moyen de la clé 6, on fait tourner le bouton 29 du commutateur dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre. De ce fait, le commutateur ferme en 35 le circuit reliant la pile sèche 27 à la lampe 26 qui s'allume. En même temps, la tige 30 est déviée vers le bas de la fig. 1 et sa partie recourbée 31 sort du trou 32 dans lequel elle était logée; le mécanisme de la boîte à musique étant ainsi libéré, le cylindre 7 se met à tourner, en produisant de la mu sique, de même que l'arbre 15, le disque 33 et la came 22 qui le termine. Le passage des on dulations périphériques de cette came devant le piton 23 imprime au réseau 18 un mouve ment de va-et-vient.
De ce fait, la photogra phie de la plaque 17 s'anime, grâce au pas sage devant elle, des lignes - non représen tées - du réseau 18, perpendiculaires à la direction du déplacement de ce dernier.
Les lignes du réseau peuvent aussi bien être constituées par de véritables traits que par les lignes de fond de rainures de section droite triangulaire tracées à la surface dudit. réseau.
On pourrait aussi donner au pourtour de la came 22 une configuration en accord avec. le rythme, au moins, de la musique que pro duit le cylindre 7 en collaboration avec le clavier 12.
Dans les fig. 3 et 4, l'organe monté sur l'arbre 15 est constitué par un disque 35 dans la face supérieure duquel est creusée une rainure 36 faisant l'office de came. Dans cette dernière est logée un piton 37 solidaire de l'élément 38 dont le déplacement doit ani mer la photographie.
Dans les fig. 5 et 6, l'organe monté sur l'arbre<B>15</B> est constitué par une partie de dis que 39, percée d'un trou 40, excentrée par rapport à l'axe de cet arbre et d'axe perpen diculaire à la partie 39, dans lequel est en gagé un piton 37 solidaire de l'élément 38. Dans les fig. 7 et 8, l'organe monté sur l'arbre 15 est. aussi constitué par une partie de disque 39 munie d'un piton 41, exeentré par rapport à, l'axe de l'arbre 15 et parallèle à, ce dernier, engagé dans tut trou 42 pratiqué dans l'élément 38.
Dans la. fig. 9, l'organe est constitué par le cylindre 7 monté sur l'arbre 8. Dans le voisinage de l'une de ses extrémités, le ey- lindre est creusé d'une rainure 36, faisant l'office de came, dans laquelle est engagé un piton 37 solidaire de l'élément à. déplacer 38.
Dans la fig. 10, l'organe est aussi cons titué par le cylindre 7. La périphérie de l'une de ses faces terminales est. munie d'une eame 43 contre laquelle le piton 37 est maintenu appuyé par un ressort 44.
L'éclairage des éléments pourrait aussi se faire au moyen de la lumière naturelle intro duite dans le coffret de la boîte à musique par une ouverture pratiquée dans une de ses parois et renvoyée sur les éléments par uri miroir.

1 designates the music box case and 2 its removable cover by means of buttons 3 and 4. 5 designates the barrel of the mechanism, 6 of which designates the winding key. 7 denotes the cylinder of said box, the peripheral points of which are not represented, mounted on a shaft 8 actuated by the. barrel 5, and of which 9, 10 and 11 designate. the bearings. 12 designates the keyboard.
13 designates an angle toothed wheel, mounted on the shaft 8, and meshing with another angle toothed wheel 1.4 of the same diameter, mounted on a shaft 15 to which the parts 11 and 16 serve as a bearing, axis perpendicular to the plane of said constituent elements which are the photographic plate 1.7 and the network 18, superimposed on one another and both translucent. The plate 17 is removably housed in the thickness of slats 19 and 20 fixed by their ends to the longitudinal longitudinal walls of the box 1. 21 designates a hole or opening made in the cover 2 of the box above the elements 17 and 18.
4 the free end of the shaft 15 is mounted a cam 22 against the periphery of which a stud 23 integral with the network 18 is held in hand supported by a tensioned spring 24 attached, on the other hand, to the wall of the box in 25.
26 denotes an electric lamp, mounted below the plate 17, and supplied with electric current by a dry battery 27 via a rotary switch 28 operable from outside the box by means of a button 29. On this switch is mounted on a rod 30 terminated by a part 31 curved upwards in FIG. 1, engaged, during the rest period of the mechanism, in a hole 32 made in a disc 33 fixed on a sleeve Ô4 integral with the shaft 1: 5.
Here is how the device described and represented works: The spring of the mechanism being wound up by means of the key 6, the button 29 of the switch is turned in the direction of clockwise. Therefore, the switch closes 35 the circuit connecting the dry cell 27 to the lamp 26 which lights. At the same time, the rod 30 is deflected downwards in FIG. 1 and its curved part 31 comes out of the hole 32 in which it was housed; the mechanism of the music box being thus released, the cylinder 7 begins to rotate, producing music, as well as the shaft 15, the disc 33 and the cam 22 which ends it. The passage of the peripheral undulations of this cam in front of the pin 23 gives the network 18 a back and forth movement.
Therefore, the photograph of the plate 17 comes alive, thanks to the wise passage in front of it, of the lines - not shown - of the network 18, perpendicular to the direction of movement of the latter.
The lines of the network can equally well be constituted by real lines as by the bottom lines of grooves of triangular cross section traced on the surface of said. network.
We could also give the periphery of the cam 22 a configuration in accordance with. the rhythm, at least, of the music produced by cylinder 7 in collaboration with keyboard 12.
In fig. 3 and 4, the member mounted on the shaft 15 is constituted by a disc 35 in the upper face of which a groove 36 is hollowed out, acting as a cam. In the latter is housed a pin 37 integral with the element 38 whose movement must ani sea the photograph.
In fig. 5 and 6, the member mounted on the shaft <B> 15 </B> consists of a portion of said 39, pierced with a hole 40, eccentric with respect to the axis of this shaft and of axis perpendicular to part 39, in which a pin 37 secured to element 38 is secured. In FIGS. 7 and 8, the member mounted on the shaft 15 is. also constituted by a part of disc 39 provided with a stud 41, exeentré with respect to the axis of the shaft 15 and parallel to the latter, engaged in a hole 42 made in the element 38.
In the. fig. 9, the member is constituted by the cylinder 7 mounted on the shaft 8. In the vicinity of one of its ends, the eyeliner is hollowed out with a groove 36, forming the cam office, in which is engaged a pin 37 integral with the element. move 38.
In fig. 10, the member is also constituted by the cylinder 7. The periphery of one of its end faces is. provided with an eame 43 against which the pin 37 is kept supported by a spring 44.
The lighting of the elements could also be done by means of natural light introduced into the case of the music box through an opening made in one of its walls and returned to the elements by a mirror.
