Snap lock on containers, in particular on tubes and bottles.
The invention relates to a snap closure which is intended in particular for tubes, bottles and similar containers. The object of the invention is to create such a snap lock which, under the action of a spring, can be conveniently operated with one hand with little application of force, but with which a secure closure is nevertheless achieved. The spring itself should be attached to the outside in the jump lock in a protected manner. By increasing the intended use, protected arrangement of the spring should on the other hand, an attractive and pleasing shape of this spring lock it be made possible.
The snap closure should preferably be designed to be removable from the closure end of the container and interchangeable with another container.
The snap lock itself is primarily pressed or injection-molded from a synthetic resin material. Instead, a metal injection molding compound can also be used.
It has already been proposed to arrange resilient snap locks on the tube neck, in which the bearing arm of the closure cap is articulated with bearing eyes located on the outer surface of the closure end of the container. To operate such snap locks, in which the eat-speaking spring is arranged unprotected, the application of a greater pressure is necessary. Since one-handed operation of the closure is sought in the case of tubes, there is a risk that the tube itself will inevitably deform when the pressure required to open the closure is applied and the contents of the tube may inadvertently emerge from the tube opening.
The previously known tube closures with a snap closure also do not allow a shapely design, especially since the arranged spring remains visible.
In order to circumvent these disadvantages in the known snap locks and to achieve the advanced effects already mentioned, the invention consists in that the spring exerting the locking pressure is provided in the area of the bearing eyes between the bearing arm and the locking end of the container and is invisible from the bearing arm to the outside and is protected.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. It shows
1 shows a section through a snap lock at the threaded end of a tube, the tube being shown broken off,
FIG. 2 shows a view of the spring lock according to FIG. 1 viewed in the direction of arrow A,
Fig. 3 is a plan view of the Sprungver circuit according to FIG. 1.
The usual threaded piece 2, which surrounds the outlet opening 3, is located on the tube 1. A sleeve 4 with a corresponding thread is screwed onto the threaded piece 2. The sleeve 4 carries bearing eyes 5 and 6. The closure flap 7, which has an elastic sealing plug 8, is provided with a bearing arm 9. The bearing arm 9 ends in tabs 12 and 13, which are elastic in a certain sense and can be snapped into the bearing eyes 5 and 6 during assembly. The articulated connection with the bearing arms 5 and 6 is created by the bolts 10 and 11.
The bearing arm 9 has a reinforcement 17 with a shoulder 17e on its outside. This paragraph 17a serves as the handle end for opening the closure cap 7. The position of the paragraph 17a in relation to the pivot pins 10 and 11 is such that a favorable leverage for opening the closure cap 7 is given. At the lower end of the bearing arm 9 there is a bore 14, and an eyelet 16 is attached to the sleeve 4. The ends of the spring 15 are suspended in the bore 14 and the eyelet 16.
When opening the closure cap 7 by pressing the thumb on the shoulder 17a of the reinforcement 17, the closure cap 7 is pivoted under the action of the spring 15 into the position shown in FIG. 1 with a dashed line. A counter-pressure on the closure cap in the open position ensures that the closure position of the closure cap is reached again under the action of the tension spring 14. When opening or closing the closure cap, the special arrangement of the spring means that relatively little effort is required. When this jump closure is arranged on tubes, there is no risk of the tube deforming even when the saponification flow is operated with one hand.
Instead of such a tension spring, a correspondingly shaped leaf spring can be switched on in the area of the bearing eyes between the bearing arm and the closure end of the container, which acts on an eccentric cam, for example.
