Wechselvorrichtung für ein Kettenübersetzungegetriebe an einem Fahrrad. Seitdem für Fahrräder 1ietterrweclrselge- triebe verwendet werden, welche zur Straff haltung der Kette auf den verschiedenen Fahrstufen einen unter Federbelastung lie genden Spannarm benötigen, ist auch immer der Wunsch vorhanden gewesen, diesen Spann arm in jeder seiner Stellungen rasch und sicher blockieren zu können bei gleichzeitiger Sperrun:;
Fig. 5 und 5a eine Draufsicht der Klemtn- vorrichtung.
Changing device for a chain transmission on a bicycle. Ever since bicycles were used, which require a spring-loaded tensioning arm to keep the chain taut at the various speeds, there has always been a desire to be able to quickly and safely block this tensioning arm in each of its positions while at the same time Blocking :;
the translation change, this in order to a11 counteract the inconveniences caused by the unsecured tensioning arm, which is only held down by its tension spring. can ..
This desire is met by the present invention, which relates to a change device for a chain transmission on a bicycle.
The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing, for example. It shows: FIG. 1 a side view, FIG. 2 a front view and FIG. 3 a top view of the chain transmission Weehsler, FIG. 4 and 4a a front view, partly in section,
5 and 5a a plan view of the clamping device.
1 (Fig. 2 and 3) denotes the carrier which, together with the plate 2 serving for its additional stabilization and the integrated stop piece 3, is fastened to the right dropout: 5 of the rear fork by means of the screws .1 in such a way that1 > it is secured against an unintentional change in its given position and thus forms a whole with the bicycle frame The rear wheel with.
Axis 6 can be introduced in the usual way. and tightened by the wing nut I. Inside half of the unbuttoned support end 1 'is mounted on the axis 8 a tiltable U-shaped bridge 9, the tabs 9' and 9 "(Fig. 1) are connected by a bolt 10, the latter under the influence of the Spring 11 standing chains tension arm 12 with riveted sliding sleeve 13 is used as a fleradführung, the tabs 9 'and 9 "limit the displacement.
By inserting rings 1.1 (Fig. 1), this path can be shortened according to a smaller number of translation stages, the thickness of the rings being selected so that an inserted ring 1-1 always corresponds to a translation stage a, less .
The chain tensioning arm 12, which with its upper fork-shaped end encompasses the axis 8 of the bridge 9 (FIG. 2) and is thus non-rotatably connected to the bridge, and which at its lower end carries an axially adjustable bolt 15 on which the Chain roller 16 is mounted with guide fork 17, has a guide pin 18 firmly connected to this on an angularly bent tab 12 '(FIG. 2),
which engages in the elongated hole 19 (FIGS. 1 and 2) of the driven part 21 of the universal joint coupling 22 (FIGS. 1 and 3) mounted on the bridge 9 so as to be pivotable about a pin 20. With the driving part of the latter, the linkage 23 is connected and by actuating the same, the chain tensioning arm 12 can be easily moved back and forth on the bolt 10 within the limits set for it, for the purpose of transferring the schematically drawn chain 24 from one Ring gear 25 on another.
The position of the chain tensioning arm 12 changes under the influence of the different chain wheel diameters at the individual speed levels and the resulting rotary movements are also transmitted as longitudinal shifts via the bridge 9, which is in rotation with it, also to (read actuation linkage 23 \.
To keep the chain 24 taut on the various driving levels, aii place of the otherwise usual helical spring arranged on the linkage itself, a torsion spring 11, one end 11 'of which is anchored in the head S' of the axle 8, which is the tiltable Briieke 9 connects to the carrier 1, while the other end 11 "is supported on the tab 9" of the bridge and this, together with the chain tensioning arm 12, down. seeks to press.
Since the difference in position of the latter is not very significant when using the smallest or the largest toothed ring, the pressure of the torsion spring 11 does not increase significantly, so that the same remains practically the same on all driving levels, which is the case with the usual use of a The helical spring arranged on the actuation linkage is usually not the case.
The different pivot positions of the chain tensioning arm 12 with the bridge 9 correspond to different longitudinal positions of the actuating linkage 3. Conversely, the pivoting position of the bridge 9 and the tensioning arm 12 coupled to it can be influenced by longitudinal displacements of the linkage. This shows that the (lestänge also has other functions than just shifting de., Hettenspannarnies 1? On the bolt 10.
According to FIG. 4, the linkage 23 ends in a handle 23 ', while its other end is connected to the universal joint coupling 22 (FIG. 2). The handle is easily accessible for the driver and. the rod 23 is guided in the usual way along the right rear wheel strut <B> '226 </B> and is mounted in a two-part bracket 27 rigidly connected to the latter with a correspondingly designed end <B> 27' </B>.
The bearing has a recess and a clamping sleeve 28 with an inside \ ute <B> '</B> 8' (FIGS. 4a and 5a) and an outside threaded shoulder 28 ″ is inserted into this. By engaging the clamp neck 27 "in the groove 28 'the square clamping sleeve 28 is secured against rotation and since it, together with the clamp end27',
is penetrated by the actuating rod 23 and this normally allows free passage, it can renbeh any further fastening. Via the threaded shoulder 28 ″ of the clamping sleeve 28, the two-part clamp end 2 7 is partially encompassing and rests on this pushed from the supporting web 29, which allows the clamping sleeve 28 to move transversely to the linkage? 3 sufficient leeway. Furthermore, a handle 30 acting as a nut is screwed onto the threaded attachment 28 ", which in its rest position downwards, as shown in FIG draws, is directed.
If this handle is turned upwards by about 90 in the closing direction, the clamping sleeve 28 experiences an increasing displacement transversely to the actuating linkage? 3, as a result of which this undergoes a quick-acting cladding in the sense of a slight bending and thus, in addition to the bridge 9, the blocking of the chain tensioning arm 12 and the simultaneous blocking of the actuation of the (-z'estänges 23)
which state can just as quickly be canceled by returning the handle 30 to its rest position (FIG. 4). When the web 29 is pressed onto the clamp end "7" (Fig. 5), which is partially encompassed by it, a closing effect is exerted on the latter, which ensures its information remains.
The advantage. the above-described Kleir) nivorriehtuiig, by means of which all functions of the changer are blocked with a single movement and can be released again just as quickly by a corresponding countermovement, but not only look exhausted in the Spannarmbloekie, the driver me on rough roads and In the case of rapid descent, despite the chain being only moderately taut, safety is provided by the undesired swinging out of the tensioning arm and the chain often allows and prevents it from jumping out.
If the chain and sprocket do not fit together exactly, the former rises on the latter and then snaps back into its normal position, but the blocking of the actuating linkage, which is inextricably linked with the chip-saving block, makes it unnecessary to use the universal joint coupling. To be provided with notches or a friction limiter.
The resulting loose and bumpless switchover to the various speed levels allows the driver to quickly and easily switch to chain-only gear, which after actuation of the clamping device remains inevitable until a new switchover. The fact that only the same movement is necessary for the functions mentioned means that the driver's attention is in no way distracted and incorrect manipulation is almost impossible. The Spannarinbloekierung can be vorgenom men in the pivoting range of the bridge in any position of the latter, which is important for making repairs, etc. is important.
