B. gekochten Kartoffeln, Erbsen, Tomaten, Früchten, Kastanien usw.
Cooking insert for saucepan. is the status of the invention. A cooking insert for a saucepan that can be used in particular for cooking pasta, potatoes, rice, dumplings, meat, fish, legumes, tomatoes, asparagus and other vegetables in water or steam.
The cooking insert is intended to prevent the food from sticking or crusting on the wall of the saucepan and to enable the food to be separated from the broth immediately after cooking.
The cooking insert according to the invention has for this purpose a sieve-like vessel which is used to hold the solid parts of the food and is intended to be removable in the cooking pot so that between the cooking insert and the cooking pot on the bottom and there is a gap on the side wall all around in order to separate solid parts of the food by lifting out the insert from the liquid.
The cooking insert makes it possible that the Koeli water does not separate out during cooking. as before, by putting the cook in a sieve, good things are obtained. but that the cooking insert with the fixed parts of the KoeligLite is simply lifted out of the saucepan.
Thanks to the use of this cooking insert, no more residues and crusts can build up on the bottom and on the wall of the cooking pot. The boiling up of the water in the space between the insert and the saucepan ensures that the cooking area is cooked evenly and thoroughly.
Vegetables, asparagus, tomatoes or the like, such as fruit, potatoes, fruits, etc., thanks to the space between the bottom of the insert and the bottom of the cooking pot, which space up to the sieve bottom with. Water is filled and boiled in steam, so that the valuable nutrients, such as mineral salts, vitamins, etc., are retained in the food, but they are not. can get into the cooking water. In the case of potatoes, this way of cooking prevents them from cracking open and overcooking.
In the drawing, for example, two embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown, specifically showing: .6 a longitudinal section. through the cooking insert that serves as a strainer with press device.
The cooking insert shown consists of a cylindrical vessel 1 with an outward arched bottom ge 2. Wall and bottom of the Ge vessel are perforated with round holes 3 sieve-like. At the bottom of the vessel are three feet 4 be fastened, through which an intermediate space is secured between the bottom of the insert and the pad. A handle 6 with its angled ends 6 'is easily detachably suspended from two opposing holes 5 in the vessel. Instead of stenlöchern with Ra, the insert, as shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, can also be provided with T-shaped, rectangular or square cutouts 3 '.
The cooking insert described is. intended to take up the food and to be placed with it in a saucepan that is a little larger than the insert. Depending on whether the food has to be cooked or steamed, the saucepan is completely or only partially filled with water.
In order to be able to use the cooking insert as a strainer, it can be combined with a pressing device (see Fig. 6). As a pressing device is a fixable on the edge of the cooking insert he lid 7, on which a spindle 9 is vertically adjustable in a guide nut 8 attached to the lid Füh. The cover 7 is provided with an engagement bolt 10 and a hook 1.1 hinged on the cover with one of these opposite one another.
With the lid placed on the vessel 1, the engagement bolt 10 and the engagement hook 11 can be hung into the holes 5 of the vessel, as is illustrated in FIG. 6. The top of the Spin del 9 is. see with a handle '12 and the lower end with a curved press cover 13 ver. By turning the spindle on its handle 12, the press cover can be moved up or down. The pressing device is used to prepare puree-like dishes, e.g.
