Fig. 2 ist eine Draufsicht nach Fig.1.
Check valve. The present invention relates to a check valve of the type in which the valve opens and liquid can pass under pressure in one direction and closes automatically when the counteracting pressure drops, the movable valve body of the valve having a stem , which is slidably guided in a Boh tion of the valve guide.
The main difficulty which arises in the construction of a valve of the type described is ensuring the concentricity between the end part of the valve body and its seat. The purpose of the present invention is to create a valve which better mutual centering of the two Parts guaranteed. The check valve according to the invention is characterized in that both the valve guide and the movable valve body have a head and that the head of the valve guide rests on the same conical seat surface into which the head of the valve body penetrates when it moves into the closed position .
The head of the movable valve body can either be spherical or conical, in the latter case the cone angle is smaller than that of the seat surface. The valve guide can have a head which rests with a conical surface on the seat surface. For a clearer understanding of the inven tion, an embodiment of the Ven valve in its application to a hydraulic high pressure pump with a wobble plate and with axial plungers is explained below in connection with the accompanying drawing. In this drawing: Fig.1 shows a longitudinal section through the fully permanent pump.
Fig. 2 is a plan view of Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a section through the valve on a larger scale.
The check valve shown according to the present invention has a valve guide 1, a movable valve body 2 and a closing spring 3. The valve guide has a short cylindrical part 4 at one end and a head 5 at the other end. The parts 4 and 5 are separated from one another by an intermediate portion of small diameter. The head 5 of the valve guide has slots for the passage of the liquid. The body 2 has a shaft which is slidably guided in a bore in the guide 1.
The valve is housed in a cylindrical Boh tion 6, which merges at one end into a conical seat surface 7 for both the head 5 of the valve guide and for the head 8 of the valve body 2. As far as the head 5 is concerned, a suitable contact with the seat 7 is achieved in that its free end is also made conical, with the same cone angle as the seat 7, while the Ven tilkörper 2 to create a good fit is provided with a spherical head 8. It is also possible to make the valve head 8 conical, with a Kegelwin angle that is smaller than that of the seat surface 7.
Since the distance of the cylindrical part 4 of the valve guide from the contact between the head 5 and the seat 7 is relatively large in relation to the distance between the points of contact of the seat 7 with the heads 5 and 8, a possible slight Exzen tricity of the cylindrical part 4 no practical effect on the concentricity between the head 5 and the seat.
