Analysenwaage.
Analytical balance.
In analytical balances and especially in ZIikrowaagen of the usual design with symmetrical balance beam, one part of the suspension is seated on the one outer chord and the other part of the suspension on the second outer chord of the balance beam. The Arretiervorriehtung to relieve the balance beam often contains two slides each vertically guided in slide bearings, with the lifting devices intended for the balance beam on one slide and the lifting devices intended for the two partial hangers on the other slide.
The two slides are moved with the help of eccentrics in such a way that when the lock is released, the hanger consisting of the two partial hangers is first placed on the outer edges of the balance beam and then the balance beam is released. Furthermore, other locking devices are known which make it possible to achieve the same goal.
For example, there is only one slider that is guided vertically in plain bearings and can be directly adjusted by the actuation device, and only the lifting members for the balance beam are attached to this slider. The lifting devices for one part of the suspension were arranged on a first rocker and the lifting devices for the other partial suspension on a second rocker. Both rockers can be pivoted about axes of rotation which run parallel to the direction of the balance beam edges and are arranged as close as possible to the middle pan supporting the middle chord of the balance beam.
WIitnellmer attached between the slide and the two rockers cause the rockers and the lifting members attached to them to pivot in opposite directions when the slide is moved. Finally, one has also designed a Arre animal device in which only two rockers are provided, with the lifting members for a part suspension and part of the lifting members intended for the balance beam being attached to each of the two swinging arms. Linkages that can be moved by the actuating device cause the two rockers to pivot in opposite directions when the locking device is actuated.
The present invention now relates to an analytical balance with a Arre tiervorriehtung to relieve the balance beam cutting, in which Arretiervorricli- device lifting members for lifting the balance beam and lifting members for lifting the hanger are attached to at least one movable slide. According to the invention, at least one of the movable slides is guided by means of steering levers arranged one above the other.
Embodiments of the present invention are shown schematically in FIGS. 1 to 8 of the drawing, namely:
Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of an analytical balance with a symmetrical balance beam and two balance pans, one of which is suspended on one of the two outer edges of the balance beam, while the
FIGS. 2 to 4 indicate individual parts of the balance according to FIG. 1 drawn out in plan view.
Fig. 5 shows a further embodiment of an analytical balance with asymmetrical balance beam, in which a balance pan is only suspended on one arm of the balance beam on the outer edge of the same, while the other arm of the balance beam is provided with a fixed counterweight and the
FIGS. 6 to 8 show individual parts of the balance according to FIG. 5, shown in plan view.
In the scale according to FIGS. 1 to 4, a support is attached to the base plate 1 of the base 2, shown in section, which consists of a plate-shaped foot part 3, the support columns 5, 6, 7, 8 rigidly attached to it and the I (top part 4, which the latter is particularly shown in Fig. 2. Like the base plate i, the base part 3 of the carrier is shown partially in section, and accordingly the front support columns 5 and 6 above the base plate 1 are shown broken off the foot part 3, the support columns 5 to S and the carrier consisting of the head part 4 can be manufactured from one piece or, for example, screwed together from the individual parts mentioned.
The head part 4 of the carrier consists of two cantilevered arms 9 and 10 which are angled downwards and which are connected to one another by cross members 11 and 12. On the cross member 12 (Fig. 1 and 2), the socket bearing 13 for the operational support of the middle chord 14 of the balance beam 15 is attached. On the two outer sections 16 and 16 'of the Waagebal kens the hanger is suspended, which consists of two identical parts.
Each part of the hanger contains a balance frame 17 or 17 ', a support rod 18 or 18', a support bracket 19 or 19 'broken out for the sake of clarity, a support plate 20 or 90' and a socket bearing 21 or 21 '. The balance beam 15 also has two extensions 22 and 99t extending perpendicular to the drawing plane (FIG. 1), which are provided with recessed guides, shown next, into which the lifting pins 23, 24, 25 look when the balance beam 15 is in the locked position Intervene type of the known three-point support (Fig. 1 and 3).
The support plates 20 and 90t also have such recessed guides, which are also not shown, into which the lifting pins 26, 27, 28 or 26 ', 27', 28 '(Fig. 1 and 4) are inserted in an analogous manner in the manner of three-point support with the hanger locked. intervention.
The lifting pins 23, 24, 25, which are used to lock the balance beam 15, are fastened to a plate-shaped part 29 which is bent upwards and whose shape is shown in FIGS. 1 and 3. The angled plate 29 for its part sits on a sleeve 30 which protrudes laterally between the support columns 5 and 7 on the one hand and the support columns 6 and 8 on the other hand (FIG. 3).
Furthermore, the sleeve 30 is connected to the vertical rod 31, which extends between the support columns 5 to 8 parallel to these. The angled plate 29, the sleeve 30 and the rod 31 form that movable slide of the locking device, which is provided for locking the balance beam 15 and which carries another sleeve 32 at the lower end of the rod 31, which is the same how the upper sleeve 30 can be formed.
This movable slide 29 to 32 of the locking device is guided by two steering levers 33 and 34, preferably of the same design. In FIG. 3, the steering lever 34 is shown in plan view, which allows the H-shaped design of the same to be removed.
The steering levers 33 and 34 have conical screws 46 at their free ends at the front, by means of which they are attached to the sleeves 30 and 32 of the movable slide of the locking device on the one hand and to the protruding legs 9 and 10 of the head piece 4 and to the nose-shaped extensions 36 on the other of the foot 3 of the carrier are movably articulated. The screws 46 engage in adapted cones. see guides which are attached in the sleeves 30 and 32, in the projecting arms 9 and 10 and in the nose-shaped extensions 36 of the foot piece (FIGS. 1 to 3).
The screws 46 are also provided with counter nuts, not shown, by means of which the position of the screws 46, once set, is fixed in the usual way. Instead of the screws 46 and the adapted conical recesses in the counter bearings, other versions of adjustable bearings can of course also be used, with which the steering levers 33 and 34 are articulated to the carrier and to the movable slide valve of the locking device. The screws 46 are now fully tightened, so that the soft slider 29 to 32 and thus also the lifting pins 23 to 25 during an upward or downward movement neither in the direction parallel to the balance beam arms nor in the direction parallel to the cutting edge 14 of the balance beam have.
When the locking is released or when the movable slide 29 to 32 is lowered, the cutting edge 14 of the balance beam 15 is always placed on the plow bearing 13 in exactly the same way. In order to achieve a smooth movement of the movable slide 29 to 32 even when the screws 46 are tightly tightened, a push rod 37 is hinged to the sleeve 32 and is moved by an eccentric 39 seated on the actuating shaft 38.
In an analogous manner, the locking device has a further movable slide 40, 41, 42, 43 on which the lifting pins 26, 27, 28 and 26 ', 27', 28 'provided for lifting the hanger are arranged directly. Said lift-off pins sit on the upwardly unwound plate-shaped part 40, which is fastened by means of the sleeve 41 (FIGS. 1 and 4) to the pipe 42, which pipe still carries the further sleeve 43 at its lower end.
The two bluffs 41 and 43, which are identical in themselves, can be clamped on the tube 42 in an adjustable manner for the purpose of adjusting the slide; the fiiffe 41 protrudes laterally between the support columns 5, 7 and 6, S, as shown in FIG. 4.
This further movable slide 40 to 43 of the locking device is guided by two steering levers 44 and 45, which are arranged one below the other and preferably have the same dimensions as the steering levers 33 and 34. The steering levers 44 and 45 are on the one hand to the sleeve 41 and 43 and on the other hand, movably articulated to the crossbeam 11 (FIG. 4 and to the nose-shaped extensions 36 of the foot piece 3. Here, too, there are conical screws 46 at the front which fit into corresponding conical recesses in the sleeves 41 and 43 and in the lugs 36 and in the crossbeam 11 (FIGS. 1 and 4). A push rod 47, which is moved by the eccentric 48, is also articulated to the lower sleeve 43 (FIG. 1).
The adjustable, conical screws at the front with which the steering levers L4 and 45 are articulated are also fully tightened, so that the movable slide 40 to 43 does not have any arms to the balance beam when moving around the fixed pivot points of the steering levers 44 and 45 parallel direction still has any play in the direction parallel to the cutting edges 14, 16, 16 '.
The two eccentrics 39 and 48 seated on the actuating shaft 38 preferably have the same diameter, but are arranged on the shaft 38 with different eccentricity. In particular, the eccentricity of the eccentric 48 is greater than the eccentricity of the eccentric 39, so that the movement amplitude of the slide 40 to 43 is accordingly greater than that of the slide 29 to 32 when the shaft 38 is rotated.
The only partially reproduced shaft 38 is supported on the one hand in a rippenför-shaped extension 49 attached to the base 3 and on the other hand in a sliding bearing located at the front of the base 2, but not specified, and has the usual, likewise, on its part protruding beyond the base 2 Operating button not specified, with which the entire locking device is operated.
The length of the lifting pins 23 to 25 on the one hand and that of the lifting pins 26 to 28 and 26 'to 28' on the other hand is now dimensioned so that in the highest position of the eccentrics 39 and 48, both the center cutting edge 14 of the balance beam 15 from the socket bearing 13 as well as the Pans 21 and 21 'are lifted off the outer cutting edges 16 and 16' of the balance beam 15. If the lock is released by rotating the shaft 38, then, due to the greater eccentricity of the eccentric 48, the hanger provided with the scales 17 and 17 'is first placed on the outer cutters 16 and 16' and then by the lifting pins 26 to 28 and 26 'to 28 'released. The balance beam 15 still rests on the lifting pins 23 to 25.
This ensures that the hanger is always placed on the outer cutters 16 and 16 'in exactly the same way. With further rotation of the shaft 38, all the lifting pins lower even further until the central cutting edge 14 also comes to rest on the socket 13. The resulting position of the balance beam and the two slides is shown in FIG. If the shaft 38 is finally rotated until the eccentrics 39 and 48 assume their lowest position, then the pins 23 to 25 have also released the balance beam, which then swings freely around its zero position on the central chord 14, provided that the balance pans 17 and 17 'are not burdened. Conversely, when locking, the balance beam is first lifted off the pan 13 and then the outer cutters 16 and 16 'are relieved by lifting the entire hanger.
The play-free guidance of the two movable slides of the locking device which have the lifting pins ensures that the length of the effective balance beam arms, i.e. H. the distances between the support axes of the pans on the cutting edges remain very precisely constant, which results in a corresponding accuracy of the balance. In addition, the cutting edges are spared, because through a suitable arrangement of the steering levers, both the placing of the pans on the outer edges and the placing of the central chord on the pan 13 can take place in an exactly vertical direction.
The use of the movable slide of the locking device guided by steering levers is particularly advantageous in analytical balances which have a non-equal-arm balance beam, the entire hanger being suspended on one balance beam arm, while a constant counterweight is attached to the other balance beam arm. In such analytical balances, which can be designed as microbalances in particular, both the object to be weighed and the weight stones are suspended from the hanger provided with the single weighing pan, so that the balance beam is always exposed to a constant load in its zero position.
Because with these analytical balances the length of the effective balance beam arm provided with the counterweight is already constant, it only needs to be ensured that the effective length of the other balance beam arm with the single outer edge remains constant or by placing the hanger on it is not changed.
As will be described below with reference to FIGS. 5 to 8, such a scale requires only a single movable slide guided by steering levers lying one above the other in the locking device, on which all lifting pins are arranged, which are necessary for locking the hanger and for locking the balance beam required are. It is clear that this results in considerable savings in construction elements and that the structure of the entire scale becomes simple and clear.
The analytical balance according to FIGS. 5 to 8 has a base 2, on the base plate 1 of which there are inwardly protruding Itippen 54, which are used to support the actuation shaft 38 of the locking device. In FIG. 5 only one of these ribs 54 is indicated, and the shaft 38 is only shown in part, the part of the shaft protruding beyond the end wall of the base with the actuating button also not being indicated for reasons of clarity. The carrier, which consists of a plate-shaped foot part 3, a perforated head part 4 (FIG. 6) and the support columns 5, 7, 8, is built up on the base plate 1 of the base 2, shown in section.
The foot part 3 of the carrier is shown partially in section, and accordingly the column 5 located in front is shown broken off (FIG. 5). The head part 4 of the carrier (Fig. 6) consists of the two legs 9 and 10 and the cross members 11 and 12. As can be seen from the top view of this head part according to FIG. 6, this has a flat, frame-like shape, which extends over the Legs 9 and 10 elevating traverse 12 the socket bearing 13 carries. The other traverse 11 has downwardly directed lugs 55 which are located exactly above the upwardly directed lugs 36 of the foot part. During operation, the central cutting edge 14 of the balance beam 15, the left arm of which has an outer cutting edge 16, is supported on the socket bearing 13.
The entire hanger, which consists of the pan 21, the bearing plate 20, the support bracket 19, the support rod 18 and the weighing pan 17, hangs on this outer tendon.
The support bracket 19 9 is only partially shown, broken off, for the sake of overlook. The right longer arm of the balance arm is provided with a fixed counterweight 50, furthermore with an extension 22 extending perpendicular to the drawing plane (FIG. 5), while the left shorter arm has a pin-shaped thickening 56. The extension 22 and the thickening 56 have, on their lower end faces, not specifically shown, recessed guides into which, in the locked position of the balance beam 15, the lifting pins 23, 24, 25 engage in the manner of the three-point mounting (FIG. 7!).
The support plate 20 also has such recessed guide rings into which the lifting pins 26, 27, 28 engage in a three-point support in an analogous manner when the hanger is in the locked position (FIG. 7). The above-mentioned lifting pins are all arranged together on a plate-shaped part 29 (FIGS. 5 and 7) provided with a recess, the same being fixed on a flange 51 and this on a tube 42 in such a way that they cannot be pushed in. Two sleeves 41 and 43 are also screwed adjustable on the tube 42 by means of adjusting screws 52. Of the two sleeves, which are identical per se, FIG. 8 shows the upper sleeve 41 in plan view.
The plate 29, the sleeves 41 and 43, the flange 51 and the tube 42 thus represent the movable slide of the locking device, which is guided by means of the two steering levers 44 and 45 (FIG. 5) arranged one above the other.
The H-shaped steering levers 44 and 45 carry conical screws 46 on their free legs at the front and are hinged on the one hand to the sleeves 41 and 43 and on the other hand to the lugs 36 and 55 in the manner already explained above without play, so that the tube 42 and thus the entire movable part of the locking device can be moved up and down in the manner of a parallel guide. A push rod 47 engaging in the tube 42 from below transmits the movement determined by the rotation of the actuating shaft 38 by means of the axis 53 and the eccentric 48.
In the highest position of the eccentric 38, the Miftelseirnelde 14 is lifted from the pan 13 and the balance beam 15 rests on the lifting pins 23 to 25. The lifting pins 26 to 28 are now so much longer that in the locked position of the balance beam 15 the socket 21 is also lifted off the outer tendon 16 and the hanger 17 to 21 rests on the lifting pins 26 to 28. In this locked position, however, the distance between the lifted cutting edge 14 and the pan 13 and also the distance between the abgeho bees pan 21 and the cutting edge 16 is only a few tenths of a millimeter.
If the lock is released, i. H. the eccentric 48 is rotated towards its lowest position, then the central cutting edge 14 is placed on the pan 13 and the pan 21 of the hanger is placed on the cutting edge 16 almost simultaneously. The lifting pins then continue to lower, and pins 26 to 28 release the hanger completely, with pin 23 also withdrawing from the left arm of the balance beam.
When the weighing pan 17 is unloaded, the right arm of the balance beam 15 still rests, thanks to the counterweight 50, on the two lifting pins 24 and 25 and at the same time also on its central cutting edge 14. This position is shown in FIG. A similar position is evidently obtained in the lowest position of the eccentric 48, with the difference that all the lifting pins have moved down a little and the balance beam has rotated slightly clockwise on the cutting edge 14. In addition, the desired sequence of movements when locking or unlocking can be adjusted along the tube 42 by setting the sleeves 41 and 43 accordingly.
The play-free guidance of the locking device's slide carrying the lifting pins also allows the desired length of the left arm of the balance beam to be maintained in the balance according to FIGS. 5 to 8, since the hanger is always placed in exactly the same way with respect to the two balance beam cutting edges. The precision. accordingly, the scale becomes high. It is particularly favorable that the carrier, which consists of the head and foot sections and the support columns, can easily be designed as a very rigid structure and attached as a whole to the base of the scale.
Since the slide of the locking device carrying the lifting pins is also hinged to the rigid support, the movement sequence once set can hardly be influenced when the locking device is actuated, so that for this reason the accuracy of the balance is largely independent of external mechanical influences.
