Method for ejecting pastes from a container and device for carrying out this method.
Methods and devices are known for ejecting pastes from a container by means of a pressure plate with the aid of ratchets and ratchet wheels, which ratchet wheels are firmly connected to a locker. The use of such devices has shown that after completion of the desired paste removal there is a risk that. unintentionally, paste drops continue to emerge from the container, which is an efficient use of such devices.
The subject of the present invention is a method for ejecting pastes from a container, which is characterized in that after the end of the ejection process, a negative pressure is generated in the container for the purpose of preventing the contents of the container from dripping.
Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for performing this method, which device is characterized in that an operating lever is connected to two pawls which work together with two ratchet wheels firmly connected to a spindle, the engagement of one of these pawls being controlled by a cam is and wherein the ratchet wheels are toothed and the pawls are arranged so that when rotating in one direction of rotation only one and when rotating in the other direction of rotation only the other ratchet wheel can be taken by its pawl.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the device according to the invention is shown, namely shows
Fig. 1 is a section along the line I-I in Fig. 2, while
FIG. 2 shows one such along the line II-II in FIG.
1 designates a frame plate, to which is attached by means of a bayonet lock, not shown, the container jacket 2 tapering at its end facing away from the frame plate. The lower end of the container jacket 2, which is designed in the form of a cone jacket, is penetrated by the discharge opening 3. The eye 4 on the underside of the frame plate 1 is used for La storage of the spindle 5, with which the two ratchet wheels 6, 7, which are toothed in opposite directions, are firmly connected.
Part of the projection of the two ratchet wheels onto the frame plate. wise comprehensive, the hoof iron-shaped cam 8 is screwed onto this frame plate 1, whose leg ends are denoted by 9 and 10 and whose Leitfläehe is denoted by 11. A circular groove 12 of the frame plate 1 is used to guide the rotatable upper part 13, which hood-shaped the
Upper side of the frame plate 1 overdeect and with which the operating lever 14 is firmly connected. The end 15 of the operating lever 14 protruding onto the inside extends into the space between the two ends 9 and 10 of the cam 8.
A bolt 17 is screwed into the deekel 16 of the upper part 13, parallel to the spindle 5, and serves as an axis of rotation for the pawls 18 and 19, which are oppositely directed in accordance with the teeth of the ratchet wheels 6 and 7. The two pawls are assigned two pawl springs 20 and 21, of which the spring 21 tends to bring the pawl 19 out of engagement with the ratchet wheel 7, while the spring 20 keeps its pawl 18 in engagement with the ratchet wheel 6. Due to the action of the pawl spring 21, the pawl 19 is accordingly pressed against the guide surface 11 of the cam 8. The shape of this guide surface 11 is selected in such a way that its distance from the spindle axis at point 22 is reduced.
The upper part 13 is screwed to the upper end of the spindle 5 by means of the screw 23, but without the rotatability of the upper part relative to the frame plate 1 and the container 2 being impaired.
The pressure plate 24 is screwed freely rotatably onto the spindle and is secured with respect to relative rotations with respect to the container 2 by an extension 25 which is guided in a groove 26 of the container jacket 2 lying parallel to the spindle axis.
The following mode of action results from this structural design:
The container jacket 2 is separated from the other parts by lodening the bayonet closure (not shown) and filled with paste, for example soap paste, of a type depending on the intended use. Depending on the amount of paste filled in, the pressure plate is then rotated on the spindle so that it comes to rest on the paste after the rack plate 1 and the container jacket 2 have been combined.
If the paste is now to be ejected to the opening 3, the operating lever 14 is rotated from the initial position shown until its extension 15 abuts against the end 9 of the cam 8, and then pivoted back into the starting position.
In the first part of the rotation, the pawl 18 takes the ratchet wheel 6 with it and in this way transfers the rotation to the spindle 5, whereby the pressure plate 24 moves a certain amount towards the opening and thus pushes a determinable amount of paste Zll out of this opening . The pawl 19 remains ineffective during the pivoting in the counterclockwise direction by being held out of engagement by the spring 21 up to the point 22, from there, due to the shape of the cam 8, it fully enters the toothing of the ratchet wheel 7, but without To be involved in motion transmission.
At the beginning of the pivoting back of the operating lever 14 into the starting position, the pawl 19 held by the cam 8 in engagement with the ratchet wheel 7 is effective, while the pawl 18 slides over the teeth of the ratchet wheel 6. During this operational phase, i. H. from the complete pivoting of the lever 14 to the point 22 being exceeded by the pawl 19, a movement in the opposite direction to the movement caused by the pawl 18 is brought about on the spindle 5 and the pressure plate 24, which by a small distance of the paste surface is lifted off.
At the end of the reverse movement of the lever 14, both pawls are ineffective and the spindle stands still.
It results from the fact that at the end of the emergence of part of the container contents through the lifting of the pressure plate 24 in the space between this pressure plate and the paste, a negative pressure is created, which prevents further paste from coming out of the opening 3 after the operation has been completed.
