Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 274524.    Verfahren zur Darstellung eines lebhaften violetten     Walkfarbstoffes     der     Anthrachinonreihe.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines lebhaften  violetten     Walkfarbstoffes    der     Anthrachinon-          reihe,    das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man       1-Amino-4-        (2'.4'.6'-trimethylphenylamino)

          -an-          thrachinon-2-sulfonsäure    mit     4-Isooctyl-l-oxy-          benzol    in Gegenwart eines säurebindenden  Mittels erhitzt und die entstandene     Farb-          stoffbase    sulfoniert.

           Beispiel:     Man trägt 15 Teile     1-Amino-4-(2'.4'.6'-tri-          methylphenylamino)    -     anthrachinon    - 2 -     sulfon-          säure        (Natriumsalz)    in eine geschmolzene Mi  schung von 80 Teilen     4-Isooctyl-l-oxybenzol     und 15 Teilen einer 50     o/oigen    Kalilauge ein.  Unter     Abdestillieren    des Wassers wird die  Temperatur auf     18011C    erhöht. Man rührt  die Schmelze während 12 Stunden bei dieser  Temperatur.

   Nach beendeter Umsetzung wird  die     Farbstoffbase    in üblicher Weise durch  Fällen mit Alkohol abgeschieden und aufgear  beitet. Man     sulfiert    sie durch Lösen von 10  Teilen in 45 Teilen 9     o/oigem        Oleum    und     1/2-          stündiges    Rühren bei 45  C. Der Farbstoff  wird in üblicher Weise aufgearbeitet. Er ist    ein violettes     Pulver,    das sich in Wasser mit  violetter Farbe löst. Die Lösung in konzen  trierter Schwefelsäure ist rot mit violettem  Stich, auf Zusatz von Formaldehyd blau. Der  Farbstoff färbt Wolle aus schwach saurem  Bade lebhaft violett. Die Färbung ist ausge  zeichnet     walkecht.

Der neue Farbstoff ist ein violettes Pul ver, das sich in Wasser mit violetter Farbe löst. Die Lösung in konzentrierter Schwefel säure ist rot mit violettem Stich, auf Zusatz von Formaldehyd blau.
