Tool head for drilling machines. The present invention relates to a tool head for drilling machines.
The tool head according to the invention is characterized in that the head which can be placed on a spindle is provided with a mechanism by which a rotating or an oscillating movement can be given to a tool. The rotary movement can be used for drilling, milling and grinding work, the oscillating movement for nailing and filing work.
In the drawing, for example, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown. They show: FIG. 1 the tool head in partial axial section and FIG. 2 a partial axial section in a different position of the tool head.
The tool head shown has a cylindrical head housing 1 which is provided with a conical clamping shank 2. In the cavity of the head housing 1 two hollow cylindrical, hoof-shaped Füh approximately bushings 3, 4 are inserted and secured by locking screws 5 in their opposite position to each other that a cam groove between them. 6 is formed. The sleeve 4 has on its side facing the opening of the head housing a curve 7 rotated by 180 in relation to the curve groove 6. In the sleeves 3, 4, the thickened inner end 8 'of a tool holder 8 is mounted axially displaceable. In bores 9, 10 that are perpendicular to its axis, it carries two guide pins 11 and 12 rotatably, each of which is supported with its inner ends against a ball 13 mounted in the base of the bore. are.
These balls reduce the friction of the sliding bolts that rotate when they are loaded. The outer end of the guide pin 11 protruding over the holder part 8 'engages in the cam groove 6, while the end of the guide pin 12 protruding over the holder part 8' engages the curve 7, which curves are formed by the edges of the sleeves 3, 4 . 14 are to the holes 9, 10 leading Boh ments for lubricating oil. On the open side of the head housing 1, a guide ring 15 is rotatably mounted by means of a pressure ball bearing 16 located between this and the end face of the head housing 1, on which a throwing ring 17 reaching over the head housing 1 is attached by means of screws 18.
Between an outer flange 19 of the head housing 1 and an inner flange 20 of the 1Tberwurfringes 17 another ball bearing 21 is arranged, which acts in the opposite direction as the ball bearing 16 and which secures the guide ring on the head housing. The guide ring has an axial guide bore 22, in wel cher the tool holder 8 is guided axially. The guide ring has at its bore 22 a longitudinal groove 23 into which a wedge 24 seated on the tool holder engages. The tool holder is secured against rotation in relation to the guide ring 15 by this wedge guide.
In the space of the head housing 1, a sealing ring 25 is mounted in front of the guide bore 22 of the tool holder, which prevents the loss of lubricating oil which is placed in this space for lubrication of the tool holder under. At the. Guide ring 15 is perpendicular to the axis of the tool head a fixed rod 26 can be screwed in, which is intended to prevent the guide ring 15 of the tool head in the chuck of the drill by stopping on the column of the drill from turning with the head housing. The outer end of the tool holder is designed as a collet 27, which can be tightened by means of a clamping nut 28. In the case shown, a saw 29 is clamped as a gnawing tool in the collet.
When turning the housing 1 of the tool head clamped in the drill chuck, the tool holder is prevented from rotating due to the fixed position of the ring when the rod 26 is inserted, so that this under the action of the curves 6, 7 on the sliding pins 11, 12 an axial back and forth Performs upward or downward movement. A threaded bore 30 is attached to the head housing 1, into which a screw bolt 31 can be screwed. The tool holder is provided with a bore 32 which benbolzens for the engagement of the remote end of the screw 31 when screwing it into the threaded hole 31 is intended.
If the screw bolt 31 is screwed into the threaded hole 30 in the position of the tool shown in Figure 1, the tool holder 8 is fixed in the head housing 1, and the tool head described can be used as a drill head after removing the rod 26. If the screw bolt 31 is removed again and the locking rod 26 is attached, the tool holder makes its reciprocating axial movement so that in this case the tool head can be used for sawing, filing, gnawing, etc. by clamping the appropriate tools.
