Druck-Kochtopf.
B. 0,1 bis 0,2 at, höchstens 0,5 at öffnen.
Pressure cooking pot. The invention relates to a pressure cooking pot with a container that has an outwardly bent edge, a lid, a sealing ring and a clamp that carries a pressure screw in the middle, by means of which the lid is pressed over the sealing ring to the top of the container edge can be, after the bracket has been brought into the position of use, in which its ends underg-mature the container edge Be. The cover has a pressure safety valve.
The well-known Di-Lzek saucepans are, considering that they have to withstand a relatively large overpressure of more than 1 atm, relatively bulky and heavy and therefore relatively unmanageable for the housewife, and for the reason mentioned they are also still quite expensive. The purpose of the fulfillment is now to eliminate these disadvantages.
Eilude found through tests that even an overpressure of a fraction of an atmosphere is sufficient to considerably reduce the Koehzeit; and the invention makes use of this knowledge. If, as provided for in the subject matter of the invention, an excess pressure of at most 0.5 at is used, the wall thickness of the saucepan can be significantly less than with the known pressure cooker pans and there is even the possibility of
To use cooking containers, as they are nowadays usually used in electric Koeblierdeise. With the small wall thickness of the cooking container, when the lid is tightened, the edge of the container is pressed inwards at those points where the clamping bracket engages and outwards at other points.
In order to keep this deformation within the required limits, the edge of the lid eats an inwardly open groove to accommodate the sealing ring, bent in such a way that it serves as a stop for the container edge when the lid is tightened on the container becomes.
The invention will now be explained with reference to the drawing, which relates to an example of the subject of the invention.
The container 1 of the saucepan has an outwardly curved edge 2. The edge of the lid 3 is first bent downward and then inward so that it forms an inwardly open groove in which a sealing ring 7 made of synthetic rubber is inserted is, which rests on the top of the edge 2 and thereby brings about the seal. A two-armed locking bracket 8 engages under the edge 2 with the ends 9.
The required pressure between the lid and the container is generated by means of a central pressure screw 10 with handle 11 screwed into the bracket 8. The screw carries a pressure plate 12 at the lower end that acts on this in a central recess of the lid. Between the edge 2 and the inner end 5 of the edge 4 is. a game 6 is provided.
The forces exerted by the temple ends 9 and the sealing ring 7 on the edge 2 cause: since the wall thickness of the container 1 is relatively small, the container wall will be impressed. of the edge 2 at the two one another diametrically opposite points where the bracket engages and, as a result, a pushing out of the container wall including the edge 2 at the points offset by 900 to those points. With this pushing out of the edge 2, it hits the part 5 of the edge 4 after passing through the game 6; the game 6 is so small that the push out and thus the push in does not exceed a small value.
The lower part, the surface of the edge 5 facing the edge 2, is expediently conical and widens downwards in order to make it easier to put on the cover when the edge 2 has been deformed in the aforementioned manner. The lid is with a handle 13 in the form of a z. B. semicircular, upright mounted on the outside of the lid disc, z. B. made of synthetic resin.
The disc is hollowed out on both sides to give the fin a good grip. 14 is the overpressure safety valve attached to the cover. This valve is not adjustable and should be at an excess pressure of z. B. 0.1 to 0.2 at, open at most 0.5 at.
