Device for articulation one on the other of two constituent parts of an assembly. The present invention relates to a positive articulation device on one another of two constituent parts of an assembly.
The drawing represents, schematically and by way of example, an embodiment of the positive device according to the invention in the case of a strap of a wristwatch.
Fig. 1 is an elevational view and FIG. 2 a plan view of the whole. Fig. 3 shows a detail view at. larger scale.
1 designates a watch, 2 its crystal, 3 one of the arms of the bracelet, in a single hollow piece and of rectangular cross section, fixed by one of its ends in a bearing. 4 of the watch by means of a pin 5 which passes through them both. The other arm of the bracelet is. in two parts, hollow at least in part and of rectangular cross section, one of which, 6, is fixed by one of its ends in a bearing 7 of the watch by means of a pin 8 passing through them. both. The other room 9 is. hinged in the free end of the part 6.
The end of 9, in contact (solid lines in Fig. 1) with the free end of 6 bordered by a flange 6 'la. protruding a little, is. provided with a bridge. 10 carrying one of the parts 11 of a hinge, the other part of which is. articulated on the previous one by an ankle 12. This other part is. carried by a pis tone 13 of rectangular straight section housed freely. in the free end of part 6.
The opposite or rear face of the piston, facing the side of the cavity of part 6, is. provided with an axial and transverse recess, side view in fig. 1, in which is. fixed one of the ends 15 of four coil springs 16 to 19, the other end of which is hooked to the pin 8. These springs are mounted so that they pull on the rear of the piston 13.
When you want to put the wristwatch on your wrist, you push it aside by hand. part 9 from its position drawn in solid lines and it is brought to position 9 '. In this movement, the edge 21 (fig. 3) of the contour of 9, previously. in contact with the corresponding edge of the contour of the part 6, serves. axis of rotation to the part 9 '; the part 11 of the hinge pulls on the other part integral with the piston 13 which comes out. somewhat 13 'from the inside of part 6, by pulling on the springs 16 to 19 which tighten. even more.
This lateral movement of the part 9 is limited by an oblique facet 20 formed in the. adjacent side wall of the bridge. 10 perpendicular to the plane of the. fig. 1.
When the wrist has been introduced into the bracelet. thus opened, the part 9 'is released which returns to 9 under the action of the springs 16 to. 19.
The device described. can also be applied to. the other arm of the bracelet which would then also be in two parts. These arms can. also include more than two parts articulated one on the other by means of the device according to the invention. This device is. also applicable to water (the cover of a soap watch, in which the springs 16 to 19 could be replaced, - nor the little space available, by a single spring, lamellar, for example. pulling on the rear d an element, playing the role of the piston 13 of the example described, mounted in the body of the bar.
