Bracelet The object of the present invention is a metal bracelet, which is characterized in that it is in the form of an open arc having the appearance of a single piece and comprises at least one end section articulated to the part. adjacent by means of a spring housed in the adjacent part and hooked to the articulated section and at least one guide element fixed to said section and engaging in a housing of the part
adjacent.
The appended drawing represents an exemplary embodiment of the invention applied to a bracelet for watches, formed of three parts.
Fig. 1 is an elevational view of the bracelet. Fig. 2 is a profile view of the bracelet corresponding to FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 is an elevational view, on an enlarged scale, and a partial section in which the end sections are hinged outwardly.
The bracelet according to fig. 1 has the shape of an (open arch having the appearance of a single piece and made of metal. The arch is divided into a middle part 1 and two pivotable end sections 2, symmetrical with respect to a plane, passing .transversalement in the middle of the median part 1. Each of the -sections 2 appears to form a body, in its initial position, with the median part 1, following a barely visible contour 3.
The pivotable sections 2 are each connected to the middle part 1 by a concealed hinge comprising a spring 4 and two guide elements 5. The spring 4 of a hinge is housed in a hollow of the middle part 1 and is retained therein. 'one of its ends by a pin 6, while the other end, biasing the spring by .traction, is hooked in an eyelet 7, integral with the pivotable section 2.
Each guide element 5, forming part of the articulation, is a lug integral with the pivotable section 2. In the normal position, the two lugs are housed completely in respective hollows of the median part 1. The spring 4 located between these two slangs in a hollow of the middle part 1 is then less tense.
By separating a pivotable section, the corresponding spring 4 is urged and the two respective pins move towards the outside of the hollow while maintaining contact at least at two points, while allowing the section 2 to pivot.
Positions and dimensions are assigned to the elements of the articulation with a view to making the pivot axis coincide with the joining line 8, located at the peripheral part of the Park. Looking at the bracelet from above, the elements of the articulation remain hidden from view when a swiveling section has been moved away from its initial position.
It is possible, thanks to this device, to thread the bracelet in complete safety on a support arm without risk of losing it.
Since the joints are located at a certain distance from the middle part of the bracelet, the latter can be large enough to be suitably shaped and supported on a support arm. The pivotable sections 2 describe a relatively small pivot angle. The spring 4, being powerful enough because of its dimensions, is not likely to fail with repeated use.
In another embodiment, not drawn, the joints can be produced using two springs 4 each housed in a hollow of the

middle part 1 and a guide element arranged between the springs and taking the form of a single curved blade,. ensuring contact with the middle part 1 laterally and vertically.
The middle part 1 may have a recess 9 for receiving a clockwork movement. The upper part of the recess 9 may have a seat for receiving a watch glass 10. The middle part 1 of the bracelet, thus constituted, is intended to replace the bezel of a watch case.
Instead of a watch, the bracelet can be used for fixing one or more elements. of decoration, such as stones, medals, cameos, enamels and reproductions.
The metal arc can be made of light metal capable of galvanic treatment.
