EMI0001.0015

Resistant vat dye preparation suitable for printing. The subject of the main patent is a vat dye preparation suitable for printing (las l @ ünenf'ai-bstoffe of the general formula.
EMI0001.0007
where R and R ,, represent residues of the Benyol range free of solubilizing (, 'sips, and have at least one printing aid.
<I> It </I> was found in In to consist of Kiipen dyes of the general formula
EMI0001.0015
where I2. and R1 represent residues of the benzene series free of solubilizing groups, very analogous stable vat dye preparations which are also suitable for thickening; let ask.
Accordingly, the present invention relates to a stable dye preparation (which is suitable for printing and which contains at least one printing auxiliary and a dye of the general formula mentioned above.
The dyes of the above general formula are obtained when 1 mol of terephthalic acid, two-fold in the form of its acid eliloricle, is reacted with 2 mol of 1-amino-5-benzoylamino-antl @ racbinone, in which the benzoyl radicals can contain substituents, but not. may be of a solubilizing nature.
Examples of such substituents are halogen atoms, alkyl and alkoxy groups. The abovementioned dyes can advantageously be finely divided for the purpose of converting them into a dye preparation suitable for printing, for example by fine grinding or, advantageously, by reprecipitation from a suitable solvent such as concentrated sulfuric acid.
The dye powders or dyes obtained in this way can then be mixed with printing auxiliaries and optionally dried. or can be used directly in a moist area for printing.
Such printing auxiliaries may be mentioned: polyhydric alcohols such as glycerine and glycol, urea, substituted ureas, sulphite cellulose liquor, condensation products of formaldehyde and naphtha.linsulphonic acids, etc. The dye preparation obtained which is suitable for printing, which is dry or advantageous can be in moist form,
can be used for Küpendi-iieken according to the usual methods. It is of particular advantage that you can see such dye preparations using the usual potash-di-lick process. Have formaldehyde sulfoxylates printed well on the various materials, especially cellulose fibers such as cotton, linen, rayon, rayon, regenerated cellulose. Here, deep, rich tones can also be generated in a literal sense.
The following examples illustrate the invention. The parts are parts by weight, the percentages are percentages by weight and the temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
Example <I> 2: </I> 50 parts of the dye obtained from terephthalic acid chloride and 2 31o1 1-amino-5-benzoylaminoanthrahinone are introduced into: 100 parts of sulfuric acid of 95 to 96 strength and stirred for 2 to 4 hours. The dye solution thus obtained is carried out onto about 1000 parts of ice and 1500 parts of water. The finely divided dye is filtered off and washed neutral. He holds about 250 parts of filter cows.
Three quarters of the filter cake obtained (about. 187 parts) are ground with 470 parts of liquid, about 50 percent sulphite waste liquor and 115 parts of anhydrous potassium carbonate for 12 to 16 hours in a ball mill and then dried in a spray dryer. You get. a dry paperboard preparation that produces strong yellow prints on cotton fabric using the normal potash method.
<I> Example </I>?: A quarter (about 62 parts) of the filter knuckle obtained in Example 1 is used with. 25 parts of glycerine and 2.5 parts of a sulphated residue of the benzaldehyde dist.illusion are mixed and brought to 95 parts by adding water. The mixing is done in a ball mill. Grind for 20 seconds.
Mau receives. a dye preparation suitable for printing, which, if desired, can also be mixed with fungicidal and anti-fungal agents (formaldehyde or chloi, cresol).
150 parts of the dye preparation obtained according to Example 2 are mixed with 700 parts of Potta.scheverdickung, 100 parts of sodium forma.ldehyclstilfoxylate and 50 parts of water and printed on niercerisiert cotton fabric, the print is dried in the usual way and steamed in the llatherplatt, ge rinsed, oxidized and soaped at the boil, a strong yellow print is obtained.
If one uses the dyes from terephthalic acid chloride and 21Ko1 1-amino-5- (p-chlorobenzoyl) -amino-anthraquinone bnv in the above examples. 2:
11o1 1Amino-5- (p-methoxybenzoyl) -aminoantliracliinon, one obtains almost the same bnv. Prints shifted slightly to orange in the tone of practically the same, rather expansive, light fastness and wet fastness.
