Description

Control valve system in a high vacuum pumping system. The subject of the invention relates to a control valve system in a 1-Ioehvak-Li-tim pump system, which consists of a rotary vacuum pump and at least one diffusion vacuum pump.
It is known that diffusion vacuum pumps for high resulting vacLia of -10-6 mmlIg require a pre-vacuum of about 10-2 mniHg for their activity, which is generated by a rotary oil vacuum pump . It is therefore necessary to keep several taps in the vacuum pumping system to close the individual pipelines which connect the rooms with different pressures.
In particular, it is necessary to have a tap to let the atmospheric air into the vacuum pumps and into the high vacuum space, a second tap in the suction pipe of the rotary oil vacuum pump, a third tap in the pipe of the fore-vacuum of the diffusion vacuum pump and a 7-way tap in the pipeline to your high-vacuum room. These taps, which were switched on at various points in the pipes, made it difficult to overlook and operate the entire device.
The control system of the invention is characterized in that several cone lanes with the corresponding cavities and channels connecting spaces of different pressure are combined in a common body forming a structural unit, with all cock plugs having the same size and shape.
The axial cavities of the cock plug are expediently always connected to the space of lower pressure, so that the plug is automatically pressed against their seats by the external atmospheric pressure. It is further advantageous that the upper end faces of the chicks are below the level of the upper surface of the common body, which prevents unevenness of the sealing surfaces as the chicks and their seats progressively wear.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention using a single diffusion vacuum pump is shown in the accompanying drawing, where FIG. 1 shows a plan view of the control valve system with the cock plug removed, FIG Longitudinal section of the body of the control valve system according to plane EF according to Fig. 1,
Fig. 3 shows a cross section of the body according to the plane AB according to FIG. 1 and FIG. 4 shows a cross section of the body according to </ B> represent the plane CD according to FIG. 1. In Fig. 2, a metal body 1 is shown, in which conical seats for the same shape and size aLif-pointing chicks of the taps 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 are formed.
The tap 2 (FIGS. 1 and 4) is for admitting the atmospheric air with a bore 7 as well as with an axial cavity 8 provided, from which the air enters an enlarged cylindrical cavity 9 and from here into a continuous channel 10 , from which the air either enters the vacuum pump or can be let into the high vacuum chamber.
The tap 3 is through an axial channel 11 on the one hand to the suction pipe of the rotary oil vactite pump, on the other hand via a cylindrical cavity 12, an axial cavity 13, > a radial opening 14 (Fig. 3) and a channel 15 connected to the continuous channel 10 .
The valve 4 is connected through a radial opening 16 to the pipeline of the Vorvak-Li-Lun of the Di: Husionsvakuumplunpe and by means of an axial cavity 17 via a cylindrical cavity 18 </ B> connected to the continuous channel 10 .
The tap 5 is connected via an axial cavity 19, a cavity 20 - and a bore 21 to the pipeline of the high vacuum of the diffusion valcuiumpLimpe and via a radial opening 22 to a channel 23 the pipeline Luig of the high vacuum ra-time connected.
The cock 6 is surrounded by an axial cavity 24 and a cylindrical hollow axis 25 with the channel 10 running through it and a radial opening 26 connected to channel 23 with the pipeline of the high vacuum space.
The axis of the channel 23 lies somewhat closer to the axis of the tap 5, the radial opening 22 also being larger than the radial opening 26 of the neighboring one Tap 6 where, in tap 5 , the flow of the conveyed air or gas is expediently offered a smaller resistance.
The upper end faces 27 of the chicks of all taps 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 are below the level of the upper level of the common metal Body 1, so that no unevenness occurs due to the progressive wear and tear of the seats or chicks.
The control tap system works as follows: if only taps 3 and 4 are open and the oil vacuum pump is activated, the pipeline of the fore-vacuum of the diffusion vacuum pump is emptied.
After closing the valve 4 and opening the valve 6 , the space to be evacuated to high vacuum is pi-unpt to pre-vacuum. The diffusion vacuum pump is then put into operation and, after creating a sufficient pre-vacuum, the cock 6 is closed and the cocks 4, 5 are opened, whereby the system for the formation of the high vacuum is opened is prepared from 7-Lipumpenden Raurn, It can be seen
that such a control valve system eliminates the disadvantages of the previous control valve systems of this type by creating a clear overview of the entire system, thereby facilitating correct control of the operation of the vacuum pump and also improving the tightness of the control valve system.
The invention can also be applied when connecting several other Diffusion Vac-Lilunp-Limpen to the system, and the adaptation of the control valve system can be achieved by simply increasing the number of valves, always by three valves for every additional vacuum pump, while the advantage of central control of the entire control system is always maintained.
The embodiment described is of course only one of the many possible borrowed applications of Erlind-Luig. B. possible to store the control valve system directly on the construction of the diffusion vacuum lithium pump or on a number of diffusion vacuum pumps, the distance of the cocks being selected according to the distance of the diffusion valz lithium limpumps.
