Description

  

  



  Dispositif de fermeture pour récipients à grande ouverture.



   La présente invention concerne un dispositif de fermeture pour récipients à grande ouverture, par exemple pour verres, boîtes et pots de confitures, etc. Dans les dispositifs de fermeture de ce type, on utilise le plus souvent des anneaux de caoutchouc plats qui sont placés comme joints d'étanchéité entre le cou  verele    et le corps du récipient, le couvercle étant serré fortement contre ce joint du fait de la dépression qui se produit dans le réeipient par suite du refroidissement du produit qui y est contenu. Un soulèvement ou déplacement extrêmement faible du couvercle avant que le produit soit tout à fait refroidi a pour effet de faire pénétrer de   l'air    dans le réeipient, de sorte que la dépression nécessaire à la fixation du couvercle ne se produit pas.



  Ces dispositifs de fermeture présentent, en outre, l'inconvénient que les parties formant le joint de fermeture entre le couvercle et le corps du récipient doivent être rectifiées avee précision pour être bien planes et que la fermeture n'est plus suffisamment étanche après un endommagement extrêmement faible de la surface de joint.



   La présente invention remédie à ces   incon-      vénients.    Le dispositif de fermeture, objet de l'invention, comprenant un couvercle servant de fermeture du récipient affectant la forme d'une assiette creuse à bord plat, est caractérisé en ce que la partie du couvercle formant le creux de l'assiette est de forme tronconique et présente au-dessus du fond de l'assiette un renfoncement dirigé vers l'intérieur et formant une gorge destinée à recevoir un anneau plat de joint en une matière flexible et   élasti-    que, le diamètre maximum de ladite partie tronconique du couvercle étant inférieur au diamètre intérieur de l'ouverture du récipient d'une quantité plus petite que le double de l'épaisseur dudit anneau plat,

   le diamètre intérieur de ce dernier correspondant au diamètre du fond de ladite gorge du couvercle, la largeur de l'anneau correspondant, en outre, à la distance comprise entre le fond de la gorge et le cercle de raccordement de ladite partie tronconique et du bord plat du   eou-    verele, le tout disposé de façon que lors de la mise en place du couvercle, muni de l'anneau de joint, sur le récipient, cet anneau soit replié vers le haut et pressé entre ladite partie tronconique du couvercle et la surface intérieure du récipient, afin d'assurer ainsi une fermeture étanche automatique de ce dernier.



   Une forme d'exécution de l'objet de   l'in-    vention est représentée, à titre d'exemple, au dessin annexé.



   La fig. 1 est une vue en coupe axiale du couvercle.



   La fig. 2 est une vue en eoupe   transversal e    et en plan de l'anneau de joint.



   La fig. 3 est une vue en coupe axiale du   couvercle muni    de l'anneau de joint et une coupe partielle du récipient avant sa ferme  lure,    
 La fig. 4 est une vue en coupe axiale du récipient muni du couvercle dans la position de fermeture.



   Le dispositif de fermeture comprencl   un    couvercle montré à la fig. 1 et qui a la forme   d'une    assiette creuse. Il présente un bord plat   A, un creux    de forme tronconique B et une gorge C formé par un renfoncement dirigé vers l'intérieur et situé au-dessus du fond de l'assiette ; un anneau plat G (fig. 2), par exemple en caoutchouc, est destiné à être inséré dans cette gorge. Le diamètre intérieur    b'de l'anneau de caoutchouc correspond au    diamètre du fond de la gorge   C    du couvercle.



  La largeur E de l'anneau de joint selon la fig. 2 correspond à la distance comprise entre le fond de la gorge C et le cercle de raccordement   A1    de la partie tronconique B et du bord plat A du couvercle. Le diamètre   exté-    rieur maximum de la partie B est plus petit que le diamètre de l'ouverture du récipient H   d'une    quantité inférieure au double de l'épaisseur de l'anneau E.

   Lors de la fermeture du récipient au moyen du couvercle, muni de son anneau de joint, comme on peut le voir à la fig. 4, l'anneau de caoutchouc E est replié vers le haut contre la surface tronconique du cou  verele,    de sorte qu'il recouvre cette surface entre le raccordement Ai et la gorge   C.    L'air peut s'échapper du récipient jusqu'à ce que le couvercle soit enfoncé profondément.   A    ce moment,   1'anneau E    est pressé entre le réeipient et la surface   troneonique    B et assure une fermeture étanche automatique du réeipient.

   Un faible déplacement du couvercle vers le haut, produit par exemple par la pression intérieure engendrée par les produits qui y sont contenus, ne permet pas encore l'entrée de l'air dans le récipient, grâce à l'élasticité de l'anneau E, de sorte que la fermeture reste étanche   d'une    manière absolument sûre.



   Lorsqu'on veut ouvrir le dispositif de fermeture, on peut introduire une pointe de couteau ou un autre outil entre le bord du cou  verele    et le bord du récipient et écarter le couvercle de ce dernier, l'anneau de joint n'étant nullement endommagé. Une reetification des deux parties, récipient et couverele, formant le joint étanche, n'est pas nécessaire, car le joint élastique ne s'applique pas sur une large surface et s'adapte par suite à des inégalités éventuelles des surfaces de ces deux parties.

   The present invention overcomes these drawbacks. The closure device, object of the invention, comprising a cover serving as a closure for the container in the form of a hollow plate with a flat edge, is characterized in that the part of the cover forming the hollow of the plate has the shape frustoconical and has above the bottom of the plate a recess directed inwardly and forming a groove intended to receive a flat gasket ring made of a flexible and elastic material, the maximum diameter of said frustoconical part of the cover being smaller than the inside diameter of the opening of the container by an amount smaller than twice the thickness of said flat ring,

   the internal diameter of the latter corresponding to the diameter of the bottom of said groove of the cover, the width of the ring corresponding, in addition, to the distance between the bottom of the groove and the connecting circle of said frustoconical part and of the edge cover, the whole arranged so that when placing the cover, provided with the seal ring, on the receptacle, this ring is folded upwards and pressed between said frustoconical part of the cover and the inner surface of the container, thereby ensuring automatic leaktight closing of the latter.



   An embodiment of the object of the invention is shown, by way of example, in the accompanying drawing.

   The closure device comprises a cover shown in fig. 1 and which has the shape of a deep plate. It has a flat edge A, a hollow of frustoconical shape B and a groove C formed by a recess directed inward and located above the bottom of the plate; a flat ring G (fig. 2), for example made of rubber, is intended to be inserted into this groove. The internal diameter b 'of the rubber ring corresponds to the diameter of the bottom of the groove C of the cover.



  The width E of the seal ring according to fig. 2 corresponds to the distance between the bottom of the groove C and the connecting circle A1 of the frustoconical part B and the flat edge A of the cover. The maximum outside diameter of part B is smaller than the diameter of the opening of the container H by an amount less than twice the thickness of the ring E.

   When closing the container by means of the lid, provided with its seal ring, as can be seen in fig. 4, the rubber ring E is folded upwards against the frustoconical surface of the verele neck, so that it covers this surface between the connection Ai and the groove C. The air can escape from the container up to that the cover is pushed in deeply. At this moment, the ring E is pressed between the container and the troneonic surface B and ensures an automatic leaktight closing of the container.

   A slight upward movement of the lid, produced for example by the internal pressure generated by the products contained therein, does not yet allow the entry of air into the container, thanks to the elasticity of the ring E , so that the closure remains absolutely secure.



   When you want to open the closing device, you can insert a knife tip or other tool between the edge of the verele neck and the edge of the container and remove the lid from the latter, the seal ring not being damaged. . Reetification of the two parts, container and cover, forming the tight seal, is not necessary, because the elastic seal does not apply over a large area and therefore adapts to any unevenness of the surfaces of these two parts. .
